Lake Time Campground and Landing Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me" in the vicinity of Hartsville, South Carolina? Lake Time Campground and Landing, located at 1540 Easterling Landing Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550, USA, offers a lakeside setting on the shores of Lake Robinson. This campground caters primarily to RV stays and provides access to the lake for various water activities.
Based on recent customer feedback, it's important for potential visitors to have a balanced understanding of what Lake Time Campground and Landing offers. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, stating that the location has "absolutely nothing to offer" in terms of amenities relative to the charges. This review highlighted a $5.00 per person fee, along with an additional $10.00 charge for launching a boat or jet ski. The reviewer described the bathrooms as "disgusting" and noted the absence of other amenities. Furthermore, this individual felt that the owners or employees were overly focused on collecting fees, recounting an experience of being closely monitored when attempting to view the facilities without paying. This negative experience led the reviewer to conclude they would not return.
In contrast, another recent guest provided a more positive perspective, describing Lake Time Campground and Landing as a "nice place to stay in your RV." This reviewer noted its location approximately six miles from Hartsville, adjacent to Lake Robinson, and emphasized the large property situated on the lake. They expressed satisfaction with their choice, particularly appreciating that the owners live on-site and are "very friendly." This guest also commended the cleanliness and security of the campground. Having stayed for a month while working in the area, they indicated they would choose to stay there again if in the vicinity.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it appears that Lake Time Campground and Landing's primary features are its location on Lake Robinson, offering lake access, and its suitability as an RV park. For those specifically looking for "camping near me" with the intention of enjoying Lake Robinson for boating, jet skiing, or simply being near the water, this campground provides that access. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported fee structure, which includes per-person charges and launch fees, and the concerns raised by one reviewer regarding the lack of amenities and the condition of the bathrooms.
The positive review suggests that for RV travelers prioritizing a lakeside location, friendly on-site owners, and a clean and secure environment, Lake Time Campground and Landing could be a suitable option. The reviewer's extended stay of a month indicates that the park can accommodate longer-term visitors seeking a base near Hartsville and Lake Robinson.
In terms of environment, Lake Time Campground and Landing benefits from its location on a "very large property on the lake." This suggests ample space and potentially scenic views of Lake Robinson. The presence of on-site owners might contribute to a sense of security and accessibility for guests, as highlighted in the positive review.
Regarding services, the information available is somewhat limited and contradictory based on the two reviews. The negative review explicitly states a lack of amenities and criticizes the bathroom facilities. Conversely, the positive review praises the cleanliness of the place, implying some level of maintenance and care. It's unclear what specific services are offered beyond lake access and RV parking. Potential campers might need to inquire directly about available amenities such as water hookups, electrical connections, waste disposal, restroom facilities, and any other services they deem essential for their stay.
The primary feature of Lake Time Campground and Landing appears to be its direct access to Lake Robinson, catering to individuals interested in boating and jet skiing, despite the associated launch fees. The large property size might also be considered a feature, potentially offering more space and privacy compared to smaller campgrounds. The on-site presence of friendly owners, as mentioned in one review, could also be a significant positive aspect for some visitors, providing a personal touch and a sense of security.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Lake Time Campground and Landing in the provided text. Therefore, local users searching for "camping near me" will need to weigh the provided customer reviews and consider their own priorities regarding lake access, amenities, and cost. It would be prudent to contact the campground directly for the most up-to-date information on services, fees, and any ongoing promotions.
In conclusion, Lake Time Campground and Landing offers a lakeside location on Lake Robinson near Hartsville, SC, primarily catering to RV travelers and those interested in lake activities. While one reviewer expressed significant concerns about the lack of amenities and fees, another found it to be a nice, clean, and secure place with friendly owners. Potential visitors should carefully consider these perspectives and perhaps seek further information to determine if this campground meets their specific needs and expectations for "camping near me."

Lake Time Campground and Landing Reviews
Unfortunately, the place has absolutely nothing to offer. They charge $5.00 per person, plus if you're launching a boat or jet ski, it's an additional $10.00. That's fine as long as there are amenities. But just for getting wet in a lake. The bathrooms are disgusting. And there are absolutely no amenities. Add to this the fact that the employees or owners are money-hungry. I asked to go in to look at the amenities, and they followed me worse than a dog. I'm almost certain it was because I didn't pay. They only stayed there for about five minutes. Add to this the fact that it's not the season. The place is practically empty. I understand it's private property, but if you asked for permission to go and observe, at least give me 30 minutes. But they're not interested in that; they're interested in the money. For my part, I won't return to this place.
Mar 31, 2025 · Orlando RodriguezNice place to stay in your RV! It is located approximately six miles from Hartsville, next to Lake Robinson. It is on a very large property on the lake. There are lots of places in this area to stay, but I was glad I chose this place. The owners live on site and are very friendly. They keep the place very clean and secure. I stayed here for a month while I was working in the area. I would stay here if I'm ever in the area again.
Nov 08, 2023 · Ronnie HighsmithThis place is friendly to RVs while this place is not perfect, new ownership is slowly improving the experience. This place is very quiet during the winter and fall months when weather turns colder. Now during the weekends during the spring and summer it can get crowded people swimming and having fun, but ownership will run people off around 6pm with people that are camping might be loud but again ownership will handle it accordingly. If you are in a RV, you will be kinda away from it all with providing 30 and 50 amp sites when available, which is good. They have a pavilion that they are redoing with a little store and little game room with pool tables and vending machines, boat ramp, rented paddle boats. If you are coming for a weekend or staying for work which I do, give it a go. About 5 min away from a dollar general and 10 min away from downtown Hartsville, plus a lake view. I have been in this area for about a year and a half traveling for work in a RV and here at laketime for about 5 months, you could do alot worse believe me.
Jul 05, 2024 · Rob ThompsonIt's nice but not very well controlled. Staff are nor paying attention. People are getting drunk and throwing beer bottles and caps in the water where kids swim. We picked up a lot of glass out of the water. Thankful we weren't hurt.
