How it works
Camping Rural features a selection of partner campsites. It is not a directory of every campsite in France. You can search for free, then book directly with the campsite on its official website.
Where does the information come from?
Each feature comes from a public source (the official website of the campground or its network), with a link and the date it was checked on the listing. This information is not personally verified by the managers, unless stated otherwise.
Unknown does not mean “no”
When information is not published, we mark it as “not provided.” A campground may offer equipment that we have not yet documented. That is why a criterion with no information does not appear in the confirmed results.
Conditions matter
Many amenities depend on the season, accommodation range or age: a private spa in some mobile homes, a heated pool outside summer, dogs accepted except in certain rental accommodations… These conditions are always displayed. Matches subject to conditions appear in a “To confirm” group.
And what about Luna?
Luna understands your request, turns it into criteria, then searches the same catalog as the standard search. It can only suggest campsites from the selection, and explains each suggestion using sourced information. It doesn't know prices or availability, so check them on the campsite's website.
Ranking
Results are ranked according to your required criteria, then your preferences, and finally by name. No campsite is promoted in exchange for payment. There are no guest reviews: the stars shown are the rating stated by the campsite.
