Champs RV Resort Reviews
A beautiful little spot. Not too fancy, and the price is great. I came for just one night on my way to New Jersey. I picked the spot for the lack of light pollution and star gazing. I got a great view of the stars until the fog rolled in. In the fog, this small town was like a fairy tale. I explored the area I. The earlier morning hours. Things left out, no one is stealing. I’ve traveled the entire country and it’s important to note, Theres A lot of trust here in this small town. Places left unlocked all night, nothing being stolen. It’s rare to see such trust in the people.. The owners were very accommodation and helpful. The showers and faculties were clean and well kept. The site was level and it was so quiet, nothing but frogs in the night. I kept looking for Bigfoot. Bigfoot seems to be very popular here. Signs, statues and sculptures of Bigfoot all over town.I would definitely stay here for a night or two at a time. Maybe not too much longer though. That’s just my opinion. It’s A great place to stop on your way to somewhere. ☮️

Oct 01, 2023 · Dan MaslakSmall but nice family owned campground. Shayne was very friendly and helped me get into the spot. On site restaurant had great food at reasonable prices. The location all I can say if you want a quiet place near alot of things to see it's the spot. Even the wifi was good.No complaints at all
Aug 15, 2024 · Evan GottliebThis place does not offer much in the way of anemities. The bugs were out of control, and the hostess,Lori, was overbearing and harassing. Every single time we came out of our camper. Literally, she got out of her chair from her campsite, walked to the end of her campsite, with her arms folded across in front of her, and stated us down. From the minute we got there this happened so we didn’t even do anything wrong. She threatened to charge our card for something extra every day we were there, for things we hadn’t even done. The first day I got there, and I was walking my dog around the park to go to the bathroom, I had poop bags in my hand, ready to clean up after dog. She hovered over me and followed me and kept telling me that if I didn’t clean up the poop she was gonna charge my card an extra $50. Every single time we came out of our camper. She got up and harassed us about something. She was confrontational to my brother when we were leaving. We stayed for three nights. We will not be coming back. There are no happy campers here. I was extremely disappointed. It was the first time I ever camped in a camper in my life and I was excited to meet friends there for the Sasquatch festival in Whitehall. She really put a damper on our camping trip. The only time we relax and had fun with Saturday night when she was gone.
Oct 02, 2023 · Michael LaCrossThe location is pretty bad. No wifi, Hotspot would not work. Cell service was spotty. Was ok for a couple nights, but this place needs a lot of work. Shane was very nice.
