Cottonwood wood trailer park Introduce
For local residents exploring housing options in the Rice, Texas area, the search might include looking at "RV parks near me" as well as considering mobile home and trailer parks. One such option in the vicinity is Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park, located at 1100 McKinney St #214, Rice, TX 75155, USA. They can be contacted at (903) 326-7031 or their mobile number, +1 903-326-7031, for inquiries about residency and availability.
Based on the limited reviews available online, perspectives on Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park appear to be mixed, and it's crucial for potential residents to consider these varying experiences. One long-term resident, who lived in the park for "quite a few years," mentioned appreciating a period where there were "no crazy happenings going on." This suggests that at one point, the park may have offered a relatively peaceful environment, which could be appealing to those seeking a quieter residential setting.
However, this same reviewer also raised a significant concern regarding the condition of the trailer they resided in, stating that it had "black mold." They further indicated that they did not initially realize this was exacerbating their asthma, leading to "many attacks" and numerous emergency room visits. This is a serious health and safety issue that potential residents should be mindful of when considering housing options within the park. It underscores the importance of thoroughly inspecting any potential living space for environmental hazards.
In contrast to the earlier positive aspect of a lack of disturbances, another review paints a considerably different picture of the park environment. This more recent feedback describes issues such as "shootings," "loud music every night," a prevalence of "stray dogs," and a general atmosphere characterized by "trashy people" and "burnouts at the stop signs." The reviewer also mentioned encountering a "particularly crybaby Karen." This description suggests a potentially disruptive and unsafe environment, which would be a significant concern for prospective residents prioritizing peace and security.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive picture of the current living conditions at Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park. The experiences seem to differ significantly, potentially indicating changes in the park over time or varying experiences among different residents or areas within the park.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might also be open to considering trailer parks for longer-term residency, it is essential to weigh the potential benefits against the reported drawbacks. While the park may have offered a quieter environment in the past, more recent feedback raises serious concerns about safety, noise levels, the presence of stray animals, and the general upkeep and community atmosphere.
Given the starkly different accounts, it would be highly advisable for anyone considering living at Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park to conduct their own thorough investigation. This should include visiting the park in person at different times of day and night to assess the current environment, speaking with current residents if possible to get a broader range of perspectives, and carefully inspecting any potential living space for safety and maintenance issues, including the presence of mold or other hazards.
When exploring residential options, especially in trailer or mobile home parks, it is crucial to prioritize personal safety, health, and comfort. The conflicting reviews for Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park highlight the importance of not relying solely on limited online feedback and instead engaging in direct observation and communication to make an informed decision.
For local residents of Rice, TX, who are looking beyond traditional RV parks for longer-term housing solutions, Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park is an option to be aware of. However, the available reviews suggest the need for significant caution and thorough personal investigation before committing to residency. Potential residents should directly contact the park management at (903) 326-7031 or +1 903-326-7031 to inquire about current conditions, safety measures, and any community rules or regulations in place. It would also be prudent to ask about maintenance protocols and how resident concerns are addressed.
In conclusion, while Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park is located in Rice, TX, and may offer a potentially affordable housing option, the limited and conflicting online reviews present a mixed picture. The serious concerns raised in the more recent feedback regarding safety and environmental issues should be carefully considered by any prospective residents. Direct engagement with the park management and, if possible, current residents is strongly recommended to gain a clearer understanding of the current living conditions and whether Cottonwood Wood Trailer Park meets individual housing needs and expectations.

Cottonwood wood trailer park Reviews
I live here for quite a few years. I did like the way there was no crazy happenings going on . But the trailer I lived n had black mold I didn't realize that that was what was making my asthma bad . I had many attacks which resulted in many, many ER visits.

Jan 08, 2025 · Bodark BronsonQuiet place to live but awful roads. Pot holes will mess up your car and tires. :(. Your paying 200.00/ month lot payment for nothing. Just renting. Cut your own grass, pay for the trash so they are not using the lot payments for improvements. Which really sucks.
Jun 20, 2017 · Rhonda ReynaIt's good that families who live there look out for each other . But the owners need to provide better play equipment for kids and new fences to provide safety for all from the railroad tracks...
Jul 27, 2020 · Alma FurgasonCame to visit a friend. Saw leftover trash from homes that have been moved out near well kept lots. Was told the mess had been there a while.
