When considering "RV parks near me" for long-term living, especially within a senior community, it's essential to gather a comprehensive understanding of the environment, management, and overall living experience. Crestwood Senior Mobile Home Park has received varied feedback online, offering different perspectives on what it's like to reside there.
One long-term resident of four years describes Crestwood as a "wonderful place to live" and explicitly refutes two negative reviews, suggesting they originate from the same individual and paint an "inaccurate picture." This reviewer emphasizes the consistent ownership by the same original family and highlights Paula's long-standing tenure as the manager. While acknowledging that the management company has changed over time due to mergers or acquisitions, they maintain a positive view of the on-site management.
This positive review sheds light on several aspects of the park. It mentions the mix of residents, primarily 55+ with a small percentage under that age, living in both RV lots and mobile home lots. The reviewer underscores the importance of adhering to the rental agreement rules, which is a standard expectation in any park living situation. They describe Paula, the manager, as someone who "communicates clearly and directly" and conveys the owners' preferences effectively. The reviewer also shares their personal experience of making modifications to their lots, with some requests being approved and others denied by the owners, indicating a process for such requests.
Regarding parking, the review points out that each lot varies in size, thus affecting the number of parking spaces available per lot, ranging from one to three. Additionally, there are "three different guest parking areas with ample room for parking," which is a significant convenience for residents who have visitors.
In terms of property maintenance and boundaries, the reviewer clarifies the ownership of different fences. The exterior fences along 16th and 272nd belong to the park, while other exterior fences are owned by the adjacent businesses. Interior fences between lots are not standard, but residents can build their own with owner approval, as the reviewer did.
Safety within the park is addressed through "no trespassing" signs at both entrances, and the reviewer notes that residents and management actively report questionable activities to the police, who reportedly respond quickly.
Landscaping services are provided every other week, and the reviewer has had a positive experience with the landscapers, observing their thoroughness in maintaining the property. The majority of neighbors are described as "friendly and kind," with instances of younger residents assisting older ones, fostering a sense of community support.
The reviewer concludes by highlighting the "extremely low turnover" in the park as a reflection of several positive factors, including "great management." This suggests a level of resident satisfaction and stability within the community.
However, it is crucial to consider the contrasting perspective presented in another review, which paints a significantly negative picture. This review accuses the current management of "destroying the original owners legacy!" and describes Paula as incapable. Allegations include mobile home work being done without building permits, a "substandard landscaping crew who damages residents vehicles," "favoritism towards HER friends," a "double-standard rule system," and an increase in "crime AND drug use" within the park. The reviewer strongly advises against moving into Crestwood.
Furthermore, this negative review mentions a "new real estate management company" that is reportedly raising lot rents without any corresponding improvements to the property. Specific concerns are raised about "perimeter fences falling apart," "dividing fences between rows falling apart," and the need to close the back entrance for better security. The reviewer suggests that the positive reviews might be from the manager's friends rather than genuine residents.
Given these starkly different accounts, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Crestwood Senior Mobile Home Park should approach with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It would be prudent to visit the park, if possible, and attempt to speak with current residents (beyond those who may be connected to management) to gain a more balanced understanding of the living conditions and management practices. Inquiring about the new management company, any recent changes in policies or fees, and the overall maintenance and security of the park would also be essential steps.
For seniors looking for a 55+ community, the conflicting reviews highlight the importance of verifying the current environment and management style. While one resident praises the friendly neighbors and effective management, another expresses serious concerns about the park's decline and potential safety issues. It is vital to reconcile these differing perspectives through personal investigation before making a decision about Crestwood Senior Mobile Home Park as your potential new home among the "RV parks near me."

Crestwood Senior Mobile Home Park Reviews
Crestwood is a wonderful place to live. I’ve lived here 4 years and keep meaning to write a review. I read 2 negative ones(clearly by the same person) and can honestly say he paints an inaccurate picture. Crestwood has always been owned by the same original family. Paula has been managing Crestwood for years. The management company has changed, as companies do when they merge or get bought. The Park: It’s a mixture of 55+ and up to 20% under(Washington State law). I’ve lived in an RV lot and currently a mobile home lot. As with any rental agreement, following the rules is a must. Paula is a manager that communicates clearly and directly. She communicates the OWNERS preferences. I’ve made modifications to both of my lots. I’ve made requests that have been approved and I’ve made requests that the owners have denied. When I first moved in I needed a few reminders of what my lease agreement stated as apartment living is very different than Park living.Parking: Each lot is a different size, which affects how many parking spaces on a lot. Some lots have 1,2, or 3 spaces. There are 3 different guest parking areas with ample room for parking.Fences: The exterior fence on 16th and 272nd belong to the park, the other exterior fences belong to the businesses behind the park. I learned this when I had a board broken. It did take some time for the other business to fix the board. I don’t have any interior park fences between my lots however I did have a fence built around my place that was approved by the owners.Safety: Management has no trespassing signs posted at both entrances. Other residents and management call police whenever something/someone is questionable. Police respond quickly.Landscapers: This past week I observed them meticulously blowing leaves away from my property. I’ve never had a problem with any of the landscapers. They come every other week.Neighbors: The majority of neighbors are friendly and kind. Many people walk their dogs in the park. I’ve also observed the under 55yr helping those well over 55+ that don’t have family near. There is extremely low turnover in the Park which is a reflection of many things, one of them definitely being great management.
Nov 29, 2023 · Darcelle NarvaezPathetic and worthless management here is destroying the original owners legacy! Paula couldn't manage a blade of grass! From mobile homes being worked on WITHOUT BUILDING PERMITS being posted, substandard landscaping crew who damages residents vehicles, favoritism towards HER friends, double-standard rule system, crime AND drug use growing throughout the park!!! Think twice before wanting o move in here! Now a new real estate management company, who is raising lot rents, and NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT THE ENTIRE PROPERTY! The perimeter fences are falling apart, the dividing fences between rows are falling apart...the back entrance off of 16th place s. needs to be closed to provide better security. This is NOT the park of old! I would bet that all the positive reviews are from " her friends " not actual people.
Aug 28, 2023 · D RMFWe lived there for about a year; when searching for a mobile home park it was the nicest and most affordable park we've seen. The management keeps everyone accountable to the rules so that everyone can be respectful of each other in close quarters. I met many residents that have lived there for years and almost everyone is kind and looks out for each other. Even just walking my dog, neighbors I didn't know would offer me veggies from their garden! If you want somewhere peaceful and you're willing to follow the guidelines, this is the place for you!
May 11, 2022 · Tacey AbneyChange the manager, get landscape personnel who ACTUALLY do their job instead of blowing things into resident's yards and do ACTUAL cleaning, guest parking is poorly situated, the managers " snitches and pets " can do whatever they want, where others whom are NOT 'HER' favorites suffer getting yelled at for trivial things and 'HER' pets get away with breaking the rules, for being a 55+ park the MANAGER lets in those whom are much younger than the required ages, the MANAGER also lies about units being sold so 'HER BUDDIES' can buy the units AND get them for MUCH CHEAPER prices than advertised, having 'HER PETS' aim their personal security cameras at others for spying purposes of 'HER' unliked residents for blackmail AND placing negative items in their files, changing to anybody OTHER THAN PHILLIPS REALESTATE company...then, and MAYBE then this would deserve a 4 star rating would be in order. The current manager will eventually destroy this park, making it open to ANY age so seniors will have 1 LESS place to live in peace and comfort, and no kids playing and screaming so they disturb those whom would like to live out the remainder of their years in comfort. It's interesting that the so-called 'manager' acts like the owner, especially when the OWNERS actually live onsite IN A HOUSE! The "manager" is thinking she's 'God Of Crestwood'. If you REALLY want to know about Crestwood Senior Mobile Home Park, you need to go talk with the residents who actually live there and NOT space #43, the manager, who rarely is actually there since she is a "manager" to 3 separate parks.Since Phillips and the owners had a meeting, things have improved some. However, someone has spilled oil/transmission oil all over the roads on the eastern most road. Now when it rains there is an oil sheen that can be seen running down the roads. The EPA should force the person with the big grey/silver 4x4 truck to clean it up at his expense.
Dec 16, 2022 · D RMF 2Sister and brother-in-law have lived here for years. Current managers Matt and Paula are super friendly while being professional. Super honest people, can't say enough good things about them.
