Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 505 Honeydale Rd # 22 in Brownsville, Texas. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it's important to note that Honeydale primarily serves as a community for mobile homes, with the potential to also accommodate RVs. This introduction aims to provide a balanced perspective on the park based on recent customer reviews, highlighting both its positive social aspects and areas where improvements may be needed for prospective residents.
The environment of Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park, based on the limited information, appears to foster a sense of community and mutual support among its residents. One reviewer described the people as "very friendly kind people help each other out when needed." This suggests a positive social atmosphere where neighbors look out for one another, which can be a significant benefit for those seeking a close-knit community. The same reviewer also recommended the park to anyone "that is 50 year old and up," indicating that Honeydale may primarily cater to or be favored by individuals in this age demographic, potentially offering a more mature and settled environment.
However, another reviewer provided a more critical assessment of the park's physical condition and management. This feedback highlighted several maintenance concerns, beginning with the "abit out dated" entrance gate and the entrance pavement that "needs a lot of patching up it's got a lot of pot holes." These issues suggest potential neglect in the upkeep of the park's infrastructure, which can impact the first impression for visitors and the daily experience for residents. The reviewer also noted that "the streets to the mobile park need to repaved," reiterating the concern about the condition of the roadways within the community.
Further maintenance concerns were raised regarding the park's signage. The "outside sign needs a touch up" and is described as "faded" and in need of "fresh paint." The reviewer felt that the condition of the sign reflects poorly on how much the owners "care about the business." Additionally, the grass around the entrance gate was reportedly "to high," leading to an issue with mosquitoes while waiting for the gate to be opened. This suggests a lack of attention to basic landscaping and pest control in key areas of the park.
Beyond the physical maintenance, the more critical review raised serious allegations regarding safety and management oversight within Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park. The reviewer claimed that "They're lots of drugs being sold in the trailer park" and reported instances of "people threatening their neighbors with guns." If these allegations are accurate, they represent significant safety and security concerns for the residents of the community. The reviewer expressed the opinion that such individuals "should be asked to move" due to "many complaints towards the same person cuzzing trouble," suggesting a lack of effective management intervention in addressing these issues. The fear that they are "just waiting for a disaster to happen" underscores the severity of these reported problems.
The reviewer further stated their belief that "The owner must not be aware of what's going on or doesn't care," criticizing the lack of updates to the park's sign and the inadequate patching of potholes at the entrance as evidence of this perceived neglect. This paints a picture of a community where some residents feel that the management is unresponsive to the needs and concerns of the residents, particularly regarding safety and infrastructure maintenance.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is difficult to ascertain the overall services and features offered at Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park. Typically, mobile home and RV parks provide essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for each site. Based on the negative review, the upkeep of the infrastructure, such as roads and the entrance area, appears to be a significant concern. It is unclear whether Honeydale offers additional amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community centers, as these were not mentioned in the provided feedback.
Prospective residents should contact the management directly at (956) 982-2230 or +1 956-982-2230 to inquire about the current condition of the park, the security measures in place, and the services and features available. It would be prudent to ask specifically about the maintenance schedule for roads and common areas, as well as how the management addresses safety concerns and resident disputes. Understanding the park's rules and regulations, lot rental fees, and what these fees include is also essential.
No promotional information or details about available mobile homes or RV sites for rent or sale within Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park were provided in the customer reviews. Individuals interested in residency should contact the management to inquire about availability, pricing, and any special offers that may be in place. Given the recommendation for individuals aged 50 and up, it might be worth asking if the park has any specific age-related policies or activities.
In conclusion, Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park in Brownsville, TX, appears to be a community with a friendly and supportive social environment, particularly for residents aged 50 and over. However, there are significant concerns raised by at least one reviewer regarding the park's maintenance, particularly the condition of the roads and entrance, as well as serious allegations about safety issues and a perceived lack of management responsiveness. Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact the management directly at (956) 982-2230 or +1 956-982-2230 to seek clarification on these issues and to conduct a thorough personal assessment of the park before making a decision about residency. Visiting the park in person would be crucial to evaluate the current conditions and determine if Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park meets their individual needs and expectations for long-term living or RV stays in Brownsville.

Honeydale Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
There very friendly kind people help each other out when needed ..I recommend to any body that is 50 year old and up !
Dec 30, 2024 · Francisca GarzaIt could use a bit of maintenance. The entrance gate abit out dated. The entrance pavement needs a lot of patching up it's got a lot of pot holes, the streets to the mobile park need to repaved. The outside sign needs a touch up. The sign is faded needs some fresh paint on it. Last time I went to visit a friend the grass was to high on both sides of the gate. I was fighting of mosquitos trying to wait for my friend to open the gate. If they kept the grass around the gate cut maybe there wouldn't be so many mosquitoes 🦟 around the gate. They definitely need to update their sign by the street, it's a business residential, at list give it a paint touch up, shows how much they care about the business you're sign is old & faded can hardly make up out what it says until you're right in front of it. They're lots of drugs being sold in the trailer park, people threatening their neighbors with guns, I think they should be asked to move it they have had many complaints towards the same person cuzzing trouble. They're just waiting for a disaster to happen. The owner must not be aware of what's going on or doesn't care, they definitely need to put some updates on the sign to their business, and the pavement , too many pot holes, they just patch where the entrance is.
Apr 23, 2025 · Blanca BarredaThe driveway needs updating the outside sign needs a fresh paint , I went to visit a friend a few times the gate wouldn't open so I could get out. I had to wait on a person living there to open the gate so I could drive away. Theirs so many drugs being exchanged in the trailer park and neighbors in confrontations it's crazy living there.

Mar 21, 2025 · Lori G.I’ve spent a couple of weeks every year for 10 years visiting friends who live in the park. With Passport American the rates are more than reasonable. The rv sites are easy to maneuver and hookups are quick and efficient. Chris the manager is as nice as can be and is more than accommodating. The residents of the park are always friendly, and welcoming. The park is conveniently located close to stores restaurants and less than an hour from the beach. Overall a great place to visit.
