This immediately highlights two of its key environmental attributes: tranquility and pleasantness. For travelers looking for a peaceful place to rest after activities or long journeys, a quiet campground is a significant draw. The description of it as "nice" suggests a well-maintained and comfortable environment.
This same reviewer also pointed out the practical amenities available at the resort, which significantly enhanced their stay. The presence of a "coin washer & dryer" proved particularly useful after experiencing heavy rain and games on the soccer field, allowing them to take care of laundry needs conveniently on-site. Additionally, the campground offers "2 showers and 2 restrooms," providing essential facilities for guests who may not have these amenities readily available in their RVs or for those preferring separate facilities. The availability of these basic but crucial amenities contributes to a comfortable and self-sufficient stay.
The location of Indian Mound Campground Resort is also highlighted as a major advantage. The reviewer noted that it is only about a 5-10 minute drive to MSU and approximately 15-20 minutes to the Starkville Sportsplex. Indian Mound Campground Resort Reviews
We stayed here for a travel soccer tournament at starkville sportsplex. This is a quiet, nice little campground! Has a coin washer & dryer (which came in handy after a heavy rain and games on the soccer field!) Also has 2 showers and 2 restrooms on site. Only about 5-10min to MSU and about 15-20min to the sportsplex! Perfect location!! The owner was super accommodating when we found out game times for our checkout day would delay us being able to leave on time. She extended our time for us!!! And was super nice about it!! Highly recommend this campground for long term or short term needs!!

May 07, 2025 · Toby Graves3 for Me. 3mos I'll have lived here a year. I've never once had any complaint at all. Everyone I have met have been friendly. And helpful. I've never witnessed a disturbance. And I wanna save the best for last. And that's the manager Cindy. She's amazing to be around. Always happy and friendly. She's definitely a joy to have here. So yes I most certainly would recommend this RV park for a weekend getaway, or a semester of studying. AND ESPECIALLY FOR BULLDOG WEEKEND. We have a nice clean community here. And the birds are always singing.
Mar 10, 2019 · Jerri MicheleFun place to stay! We was only there one night. However we enjoyed it. Shelia is super nice and easy to work with. Loved the Halloween decor all over the camp ground. Definitely would stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.
Oct 16, 2022 · Amanda NashWe spent the night at Indian Mounds and ended up having truck issues. Shelia and Chris ( campground hosts and owners) helped us find a mechanic. While we were there we were treated like family. They look after there guests to insure that they have a pleasant stay. A must stop!Thank you Chris and Shelia
