La Siesta Park Introduce
Welcome to La Siesta Park, a mobile home park located at 900 N San Marcos Dr #41 in Apache Junction, Arizona. If you are searching for "mobile home parks near me" and are specifically interested in a 55+ community with a strict no-pet policy, La Siesta Park may be a consideration. However, it is essential to be aware of the feedback provided by residents regarding various aspects of this community to make an informed decision.
According to resident reviews, La Siesta Park is designated as a "Good 55 plus park NO pets." The strict no-pet policy is consistently emphasized, with one reviewer stating, "zero enmities, NO pets and no exceptions." This is a crucial point for potential residents who own pets, as this community will not accommodate them under any circumstances.
Several concerns have been raised regarding the environment and upkeep of La Siesta Park. One resident noted that the park "was nicer before they cut the trees down to 4 foot stumps," indicating a significant alteration to the landscaping that was not viewed favorably. Another reviewer echoed this, stating, "The only improvement they have made is to cut the trees down. Leaving a 5ft tall stump." This suggests a perceived decline in the aesthetic appeal of the park due to extensive tree removal.
The management of La Siesta Park is another area of concern highlighted in the reviews. It is explicitly stated that "Management is not on site" and "Management is hardly ever here." This off-site management model implies that residents may need to handle issues and concerns independently, contributing to a "totally self serve 100% of the time - never saw anyone in the office" experience, as one reviewer described.
In terms of amenities, residents report a lack of resort-style features. One reviewer plainly states, "There are no resort features here." The laundry facilities are described as having "marginal washers and dryers," with the added issue that "usually several are not working." This suggests that essential on-site services may be limited and potentially unreliable.
A particularly unusual feature of La Siesta Park is the parking situation. One resident pointed out, "your car is parked on the opposite side of your door which is the first time I have seen that." Another reviewer reiterated this, stating, "parking is NOT on the door side of your RV this is the strangest setup." This unconventional parking arrangement could be inconvenient for residents, especially when carrying groceries or accessing their vehicles.
The location of La Siesta Park next to a main road appears to be a significant drawback, with one reviewer describing it as "very very very loud." Noise pollution from traffic could negatively impact the quality of life for residents seeking a peaceful environment.
Further concerns are raised regarding the general condition of the park's infrastructure and facilities. One reviewer mentioned that "bathrooms never have toilet paper and pavement is awful, and very low water pressure, and washers are not working often." These issues suggest potential neglect in maintaining essential services and infrastructure within the community.
The increasing cost of living at La Siesta Park is also a point of contention. One reviewer noted, "The price keeps going up" despite the lack of improvements and the marginal condition of some facilities. This suggests that the value proposition of living in the park may be declining for some residents.
Disturbingly, one review includes serious allegations regarding potential illegal activity within the park, stating, "Some problems with drug dealers and if you smell a chemical smell they are cooking meth 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ obviously not pleasant and management seems ok with that. Which is scary 😱 in its self. But if you are here don’t complain about the meth lab or you will be evicted." These are extremely serious accusations that, if true, would indicate a severe safety and management issue within the community. Potential residents should be aware of these claims, although they are unverified allegations.
Finally, one reviewer advises new residents to "Make sure to note your meter reading when you move in," suggesting potential issues with utility billing transparency or accuracy.
In summary, La Siesta Park is a 55+ mobile home park in Apache Junction with a strict no-pet policy. Resident feedback indicates concerns regarding significant tree removal, off-site and seemingly unresponsive management, a lack of resort-style amenities, marginal laundry facilities, an unusual parking arrangement, noise from a nearby main road, poor condition of bathrooms and pavement, low water pressure, and increasing prices. Most concerning are the unverified allegations of drug dealing and potential methamphetamine production within the park, along with claims of management inaction and potential retaliation against those who complain. Given these significant concerns raised by multiple reviewers, prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering La Siesta Park as their new home. It is strongly recommended to visit the park, if possible, speak with current residents directly, and inquire extensively about the management, safety protocols, and the condition of the facilities before making any decisions. The feedback suggests that for the reported price, residents might find "a nice park with pool and lots of resort features" elsewhere.

The biggest issue we have experienced is you car is parked on the opposite side of your door which is the first time I have seen that.
Jan 28, 2023 · Gear Head55+ park with lots of people not 55. Also zero enmities, NO pets and no exceptions. Next to the main road so it is very very very loud. The price keeps going up and bathrooms never have toilet paper and pavement is awful, and very low water pressure, and washers are not working often. Management is hardly ever here. It is all self service for sure. Make sure to note your meter reading when you move in. For this money you can stay at a nice park with pool and lots of resort features. Just saying….totally self serve 100% of the time - never saw anyone in the office. Spots are very very tight and parking is NOT on the door side of your RV this is the strangest setup. Mar 28, 2024 · MW GHHave known quite a few residents many who have moved out due to mis management, price gouging(management read the meters and charges you what they want for electric). They also put their residence safety at risk by allowing obvious drug addicts into the park because they are personal friends of management. Making residents wonder about who's managing the park.
