Look no further than Lakeview RV Park San Angelo TX, a newly established haven for RV travelers seeking tranquility and spaciousness. Located at 5640 Twin Buttes Marina Park Rd, San Angelo, TX 76904, USA, Lakeview RV Park offers a unique blend of serene natural surroundings and convenient access to urban amenities. Based on recent customer reviews, Lakeview RV Park has quickly become a favored destination for those visiting the San Angelo area. One recurring theme is the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the park, allowing guests to truly relax and unwind during their stay. If you value a serene environment away from the noise and congestion of city life, Lakeview RV Park appears to offer just that.
A significant advantage highlighted by multiple reviewers is the size of the individual RV sites. Guests have described them as "big" and even "humongous," providing ample space for parking even larger rigs with ease. This generous spacing also ensures a comfortable degree of privacy, eliminating the feeling of being crowded by neighboring RVs. As one reviewer noted, there's "zero trouble parking, and no chilling outside by your neighbors hookups," contributing to a more enjoyable and independent experience.
Despite its peaceful, out-of-town feel, Lakeview RV Park boasts excellent proximity to the conveniences of San Angelo. Situated "right outside of town" and only "a couple minutes to town/stores/restaurants," guests can easily access shopping, dining, and other urban necessities without having to travel far. This ideal location offers the best of both worlds – the tranquility of nature and the accessibility of city life.
The natural surroundings of Lakeview RV Park are another major draw. The park is located near the Twin Buttes Marina Park, offering stunning views, particularly of the "beautiful view of the twin peaks right outside our main window." The adjacent area provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking, jogging, hiking, biking, and even kayaking around the trails and the marina. For nature enthusiasts and those who enjoy an active lifestyle, Lakeview RV Park's location is truly exceptional.
It's important to note, as highlighted by a long-term guest, that Lakeview RV Park currently does not offer certain amenities commonly found in some other RV parks. These include a playground, pool, game room, laundry facilities, and public restrooms. However, this is reflected in the park's lower monthly rate, which was reported as $550 plus electricity at the time of the review. This makes Lakeview RV Park a particularly attractive option for adults who are self-sufficient and prioritize spacious sites and a peaceful environment over extensive on-site amenities.
The excellent WiFi service is another significant benefit, especially for those who travel for work or need to stay connected. This reliable internet access can be a crucial factor for remote workers and those who rely on online communication and entertainment.
The owner, Kirby, has received high praise for being "super responsive and accommodating." This level of attentive and helpful management can greatly enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring that any questions or concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
In summary, Lakeview RV Park in San Angelo, TX, offers a compelling combination of spacious RV sites, a quiet and serene atmosphere, and convenient access to both nature and the city. While it may not have a full suite of traditional RV park amenities, its lower price point, excellent location near Twin Buttes Reservoir, and responsive management make it an ideal choice for adults, particularly those traveling for work, who value peace, space, and natural beauty. The park's newness also suggests well-maintained grounds and facilities.
If you are looking for "RV parks near me" in San Angelo and prioritize a tranquil setting with large sites and easy access to outdoor activities, Lakeview RV Park is definitely worth considering. Lakeview Rv park San Angelo tx Reviews
We’ve been here for a little over a month and we have very much enjoyed our stay. Quiet. Big sites. Right outside of town. We will be back if we’re ever in the area again!
May 05, 2025 · Yazmine SmithMy husband is a travel nurse and we lived at Lakeview RV Park monthly in summer ‘23 and had a great experience. It was so new, that Google satellite didn’t even show it yet, and therefore was very well manicured and kept. The sites are humongous, so zero trouble parking, and no chilling outside by your neighbors hookups. It’s conveniently only a couple minutes to town/stores/restaurants, but right on the outskirts so no traffic or crime, and you’re surrounded by serene nature. We had a beautiful view of the twin peaks right outside our main window, and walked/jogged/hiked/biked/kayaked around the trails and adjacent marina nearly everyday. One thing I will note (that was not a con to us, but may be helpful for others) is that it doesn’t have any amenities (i.e. playground, pool, game room, laundry, public restrooms), but that’s reflected in the lower price ($550/mo + electric). Perfect for adults who travel for work (excellent WiFi), and Kirby the owner is super responsive and accommodating. Not a single complaint!
Sep 12, 2023 · Rachael HughettStayed for 2 months. Full hookups.Nice extra wide sites! Park is nicely kept. The owner was very responsive to questions. Communicates via textThere was no rain for over a month, so it got a little dusty. They watered down the drive quite a few times to keep dust down.Quiet park with beautiful sunsets and right next to the lake. Hiking trails available. San Angelo has just about anything you want, and so close.
Nov 01, 2023 · Barb TruittNot my kind of camp grounds. Nothing there. No shower house, restroom, nothing. We made our reservation over the phone. We had to lock in for a 3-day stay. According to pictures, we said ok. It was so deceiving. It cost us $180.
Feb 20, 2025 · Peggy BurnsideAmazing park, amazing views, amazing management, and top notch care. Very safe for families, close to town with the country feel, HUGE spots, and great internet. We have been here for 5 months, and Kirby always has the helpful answer from where to get supplies to what places to visit.Highly recommend!
