Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground Introduce
Are you searching for distinctive "RV parks near me" that offer a blend of natural beauty and a peaceful atmosphere? Consider Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground, located at 2985 Browns Trace Rd, South Pittsburg, TN 37380, USA. You can reach them at (423) 919-9852 or their mobile number +1 423-919-9852 for inquiries and reservations. This campground presents a rustic camping experience amidst scenic ponds and developing trails.
Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground aims to provide a quiet and scenic environment for its visitors. Several reviews highlight the tranquility of the location, with guests appreciating the presence of ponds and small brooks that flow into them. The ongoing work to improve the campground is also noted positively by some, with mentions of the grounds looking great and anticipation for future visits.
The campground is situated a bit further from town and typical amenities, which is something to consider when planning your stay. While this remoteness contributes to the peaceful atmosphere, it may pose a challenge for those seeking quick access to urban conveniences. It's advisable to research the location relative to your needs and planned activities in the surrounding area.
Site conditions appear to vary. Some feedback indicates that the gravel provided at each site is primarily for parking the RV, and the remaining area can be muddy, especially after rain. The slope of some sites, combined with the size of the gravel, has been reported to make leveling campers difficult and potentially create trip hazards. Additionally, it's important to note that the current setup does not include shade at the campsites.
A significant aspect of Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground is the absence of a bathhouse facility. This is explicitly stated on their website, though some visitors have found it unusual compared to other campgrounds they have experienced. For those who rely on communal bathroom and shower facilities, this is a crucial factor to consider before booking a stay. Campers need to be fully self-contained within their RVs or prepared for the lack of these amenities.
The lakes on the property are described as being a "work in progress." While a small pond with a fountain and a pump system trickling water into lounge areas has been mentioned as potentially appealing, concerns have been raised about the safety of the surrounding rocks, which were described as slick, jagged, and sharp. This is particularly relevant for families with young children who might be drawn to these water features.
Based on the available feedback, Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground offers a "no frills" camping experience focused on a natural setting with ponds and developing trails. It may appeal to those who prefer a more rustic and secluded environment, are fully self-sufficient in their RVs, and do not require amenities like bathhouses or immediate access to town conveniences. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported site conditions, including potential mud, uneven terrain, lack of shade, and the absence of a communal bathhouse.
For local users browsing "RV parks near me" and seeking a quiet, nature-oriented experience, Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground presents an option to consider. Its key features, based on the available information, include:
- Scenic Environment: Located amidst ponds and developing nature trails.
- Quiet Atmosphere: Generally reported as a peaceful and tranquil location.
- Pet-Friendly: While not explicitly stated, many rustic campgrounds welcome pets (it's advisable to confirm their pet policy).
- Ongoing Improvements: The campground is undergoing work that is viewed positively by some visitors.
However, potential guests should also be aware of the following:
- Remote Location: Further from town and amenities than some might expect.
- Site Conditions: Potential for muddy sites, uneven terrain, and trip hazards due to gravel.
- No Shade: Campsites currently lack shade.
- No Bathhouse: There are no communal bathroom or shower facilities available.
- Lakes Under Development: Water features may have safety concerns and are described as a work in progress.
Given the contrasting feedback, it's essential for individuals and families searching for "campgrounds near me" to carefully weigh their preferences and needs against the described conditions at Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground. If you value a secluded, natural setting and are fully equipped for a rustic experience without standard campground amenities, this might be a suitable option. However, if you prioritize convenience, developed facilities like bathhouses, well-leveled and shaded sites, and easily accessible amenities, you may want to consider other options.
As there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews, it is recommended to contact Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground directly at (423) 919-9852 or +1 423-919-9852 for the most up-to-date information on pricing, availability, any ongoing promotions, and to address any specific concerns you may have based on the reviews. This will help you make an informed decision about whether this unique campground aligns with your camping expectations.
In conclusion, Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground offers a different kind of "RV parks near me" experience, emphasizing a quiet, scenic environment with natural features like ponds and trails. While some visitors have enjoyed its tranquility and the ongoing improvements, others have highlighted challenges related to site conditions, the lack of a bathhouse, and the remoteness of the location. By carefully considering these aspects, local users can determine if the rustic charm of Sasquatch Farm is the right fit for their next camping adventure.

Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground Reviews
We always have a great time at Sasquatch Farms. It's been quiet, very scenic, love the ponds and lil brooks ending in the ponds. They are doing work on the camp ground and it looks great. Keep up the great work Sasquatch Farms, we ll be back again.Best RV camping yet
Apr 24, 2025 · Diana TraylorThis experience was not for me. Part of that is on us not researching better, but this was also unlike any other campground we have ever visited so we were surprised. We traveled here with 2 young kids to attend a festival nearby. This campground was a bit further from town or amenities than I expected which was challenging. That's my fault. It had been rainy prior to our arrival so the site was very muddy. The gravel is only enough to park the camper on. The rest of the site was very muddy. The slope of the site combined with the LARGE diameter gravel made it difficult to level the camper. And the gravel posed significant trip hazards. Also none of the sites have any shade. My husband is 6'7", and it doesn't matter what camper we have he's never going to be able to comfortably fit in a camper shower or bathroom (within our budget). Not having access to a bathouse was a huge surprise and deal breaker. We looked back at the website and it was stated, but it seems so weird and we have never encountered that before. The lakes were just ok. Definitely a work in progress. There was a huge pile of pallets and brush on the side. My kids were excited about the small one with the fountain and the pump bringing water to trickle down the hill into the lounge areas. I ended up not letting them play there much because the rocks were very slick and jagged and sharp, it was too dangerous. This just wasn't for us. If you want a rough, no frills site, with no bathouse, no shade, away from town with access to trails, then you may love it. But we did not.My husband is a lifelong camper and called it the worst campground he's ever seen. We packed up after 1 day and found a different campground. We didn't even bother asking for a refund, we just wanted to get out of there.
Apr 30, 2025 · Kerri WillisThe Sasquatch Farm was a great place to stay! The people and staff are very friendly. They have some really cool features down at the pond and we loved the deer feeding stations! The restrooms were a unique idea but worked really well and were sufficient. If your looking for a tranquil place a little further out of town this is a great stay! .. the only thing I would say is if you have the time to go around and take the directions from monteagle I would definitely recommend that route. The other route through S. Pittsburgh has a very steep incline and sharp turns. We stayed for 4 nights in a 43ft fifthwheel.
Apr 11, 2025 · Natasha ChristianThe campsite was amazing. Sites were gravel and pretty much level. Very clean camp and the staff there was top notch. They pick up your trash daily deliver firewood if you want it and even said if you wanted something from their store the would deliver it. Id recommend this site for sure and will definitely stop there again if in the area. Thank you Sasquatch Farms!
