Smith River RV Park Reviews
WHAT A FUN EXPERIENCE! The staff at this park are the BEST! Very accommodating for all the race fans that came for the Martinsville Spring race. We had such a relaxing time when not at the track. The river that runs along the campground is beautiful and available to tube on! The dog park is spacious and clean. The entire park was so clean. Eli was such a great worker and made our stay and race experience extra special by driving a shuttle to the track. Truly, great vacation! Thank you!
Mar 31, 2025 · Laura HoganFirst time camping at this RV Park. It was a wonderful experience. Very clean and well maintained. Heather was very polite and helpful with our check in experience. Our spot near the river was perfect and very relaxing. We will be back again soon to visit.
Apr 29, 2025 · Eric FloodThis place was amazing!!! We booked pretty late for the spring Martinsville race but they were very accommodating. We tent camped. They had a 20amp outlet on our site, within short walking distance was a well kept bathhouse with locked private bathrooms and showers. It also includes vending machines and laundry services. They strung up night lights for us and also offered shuttle service for all three races. The price was very fair to top it off! Just incredible!! The whole experience was steller! Thank you so much for the weekend.
Apr 04, 2025 · Christopher BairdWhere do I start.I have been here a year in July. I have watched the campground improve over the 9 months I have been here. The GM Heather is amazing. She is always happy and positive. If there is any issues or questions she is always very fast with the answers or solving the problem. She’s amazing with my kids. The dog park is very big. Everyone takes them using it.The bathhouse has two showers, 3 private toilet and sink areas. It also has 2 new LG washers and dryers that use an app to pay. It also has 2 older style washer and dryers that you pay with quarters. The store on site has an amazing selection of camping supplies as well as novelty and snack items. The prices are reasonable. You can even rent items to use during your stay (like rafts, kayaks, volleyball, kids games, horseshoes, corn hole and more. There is a playground that has two swings, two slides, the little tree house made into the play set. The play set also has monkey bars. There is river accesses which is also a stopping point for wading the river. They offer shuttle services for the river as well as the races. They are working on a walking trail. The campground is huge and decent size lots. They have been in spaces and pull throughs. They offer propane for sale. Ice for sale. You can also get packages here. Delivery is amazing as well as if you are unavailable to pick up your packages. The GM (Heather) will put your packages up in the office until you are here to pick them up.The pavilion shown in the picture has lights and power. It also has a hammock set up.The internet is decent. There is so many lots available. The concert pads are a nice edition to some of the lots.
