Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Pittsburg, Kansas area and are open to considering long-term residential options beyond traditional RV stays, mobile home parks like Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community at 2112 W Quincy St, Pittsburg, KS 66762, USA, may present an alternative. While categorized differently from typical RV parks catering to short-term travelers, mobile home communities offer a more permanent living arrangement with individual lots for manufactured homes or mobile homes.
Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community can be contacted at (620) 670-0004 or via mobile phone at +1 620-670-0004. These contact details can be used to inquire about lot availability, rental rates for existing mobile homes (if offered by management), and the general terms of residency.
Based on the limited customer reviews available online, it's important for prospective residents to approach Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community with careful consideration. One reviewer noted that the place "looks a little run down and cluttered" but also mentioned that it is a "cheap place to rent." This suggests that while the community may offer a more affordable housing option, the overall aesthetic and maintenance standards might not be to everyone's preference.
A more detailed and concerning review raises significant issues regarding the safety and well-being of residents and their pets. This review describes alleged bullying behavior by children within the community, including harassment and threats towards pets and even physical aggression towards residents. The reviewer also expresses dissatisfaction with the management's response to these issues, claiming that the manager protected the individuals involved due to personal relationships. These allegations paint a potentially troubling picture of the community environment and conflict resolution processes.
Furthermore, the detailed negative review includes accusations of unfair treatment and potential retaliatory actions by the management, such as non-renewal of leases and eviction proceedings, allegedly following complaints about living conditions and the behavior of other residents. The reviewer also describes issues with the condition of rental properties, including prolonged neglect of maintenance requests, such as problems with air conditioning, and alleges that these concerns were dismissed by management. The mention of involving external agencies like DCF (Department for Children and Families) suggests potentially serious concerns about living standards.
The review also touches upon the experience of a niece of the reviewer, who also resided in the community and allegedly faced similar issues with bullying affecting her child. The account suggests a pattern of unresolved conflicts and a lack of effective intervention by the management to ensure a safe and peaceful living environment for all residents. The reviewer's description of interactions with the park's attorney during an eviction process further contributes to a negative perception of the management's approach to tenant relations.
Finally, the reviewer mentions alleged retaliatory actions such as the deliberate killing of grass around their trailer, which they believe caused their dogs to become ill. This serious accusation, if true, would indicate a highly unfavorable and potentially hostile living environment.
Given the gravity of the issues raised in the detailed negative review, it is imperative for any prospective resident to conduct thorough due diligence before considering Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community. This should include:
- Visiting the community in person to assess the overall environment, the condition of the properties, and any communal areas.
- Speaking with current residents (if possible and safe to do so) to gather firsthand accounts of their experiences living in the community.
- Directly and thoroughly questioning the management about their policies on community safety, conflict resolution, maintenance procedures, and tenant rights.
- Carefully reviewing the terms of any lease agreement before signing.
It is important to note that a single negative review does not necessarily reflect the experiences of all residents. However, the detailed nature and seriousness of the allegations warrant significant caution and thorough investigation.
Regarding specific services and features of Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community, the provided information is limited. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic infrastructure such as individual lots with utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity), roadways within the community, and potentially common areas. However, based on the reviews, the upkeep and management of these services may be areas of concern that require verification.
No promotional information is available in the provided text. To inquire about current rental rates, lot availability, and any incentives or special offers, interested individuals should contact Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community directly using the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community in Pittsburg, KS, presents itself as a potential long-term residential option within the broader context of housing alternatives that local users searching for "RV parks near me" might encounter. However, the available customer reviews, particularly the detailed negative account, raise serious concerns about the community's environment, safety, and management practices. Prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough on-site inspections, and seek detailed information from both management and current residents before making any decisions about residing in this community. The significant allegations of neglect, bullying, and retaliatory behavior should be carefully considered and addressed with the management prior to any commitment.

Whispering Pines Mobile Home Community Reviews
Not a bad place. Looks a little run down and cluttered but it's a cheap place to rent
May 03, 2025 · Sharon WhiteWe have been bullied by children since we have lived here and since they are mostly friends and family and know sheriff's they got away with it especially Sam's oldest son Tyler and Monte her other son and some how related Jackson. They bullied, pestered and terrorized my dogs every since I have lived here and now people are wanting me to put my dog to sleep. They even hit Joe once and threatened other times then Tyler was sent to his dad's to protect him. Probably because Destiny was his girlfriend and she's mad at me cause I asked her to save some cheese for others when she already eat 2-3 pieces thought she was sneaky and took more. And their was a house full of other children. Well there's lots more to tell but that has been my worst of it from the manager Chrystal protecting her best friend and her children. I was recently told in August they wouldn't be renewing my lease and told us also had to pay rent in September but be out the 20th of September and Joe and I are both disabled. They also moved my niece out who's son was also bullied by these children and now is angry little man because nothing was done even when they jumped on him three on one or when Jackson hit him with grill lifter steal thingy and cut his arm open nothing got done. These are pictures of living conditions her and her children lived with that was left go for 2 yrs. And picture of my air conditioner temperature that they said for 2 summers wasn't anything wrong but high temperature outside. I had to tell them I would call DCF and see if this would qualify as neglect. Now I am being made to move cause they are taken me to court and I remember how their Attorney was to my niece because I was there and he to has no heart. Telling her there is nothing she can do even if she went to court she can except 2 more weeks or go to court and end up leaving now. Even though I got loan to pay her rent in full before time up. They refused the money. I will try to post photo's to show some of our complaints that I'm sure was reason we had to move. Plus they started killing grass around my trailer and it caused my dogs to all throw up and stuff it didn't even look like they did anyone elses.

Apr 12, 2025 · Jeremy JordanMy family is comfortable, no troubles with people, quite neighborhood! Been working on it and making it a nicer place.Me and Joe got a nice clean place but we can't afford the rediculus electric bill, don't make sense because we only really use kitchen lights and central system but the things has not stopped going up and up every month since moved in it has tripled. Crazy 😧!
Oct 04, 2023 · Tina CulbertsonIt's a place to live. For the most part you don't get bothered by others and management is helpful.Don't care for different bugs inside the trailer but it's not horrible. It's far from town walking. It has nice sensory to watch. Over all better than living no ware.
