Burlington Bay Campground Reviews
This is our 2nd stay at Burlington Bay Campground and it was great. We had site 82 and it is right on the water. The site is large and we had plenty of room to set up games, gather lots of chairs around the fire and set up our outdoor kitchen. The shower house on the 2nd loop was nice and clean. The store sells firewood and apparel. This campground is walking distance to shops, gas stations and restaurants. Highly recommend!
Dec 26, 2024 · Kristin MikesLovely views from every site in the David Dill Addition of this campground. Sunny, open sites with full hook-ups. Back-in. Easy access off highway. Wide enough roads for ease in parking. Convenient to nearby state parks and pie shops! This was our last stop before crossing the border to Canada. Lawns were a little behind in mowing, but otherwise, nicely kept up. Verizon service was awesome.
Jun 11, 2024 · Susan SchwadererIf you like my comment click the ❤️ and show some love 😘This is one place that offers $5 showers, I called few areas and either some places did not answer or they didn't offer this service. The first three pics are of the first shower / restroom area that you will stumble upon when you enter the camp area. 🤢🤮The last two pics are of the other showers. If you keep driving up a little further you will stumble upon that one. 😶I recommend going to the showers of the second pic. As you can see the first three pics... Yeah they need some better cleaning & touch up.🫣
Sep 13, 2024 · Christopher HueghsA little pricey at $63, but the staff answering the phones when we made our reservation we're very patient and friendly not to mention accommodating. Nice little North Shore themed gift shop in the office as well. She found us a spot with a nice Overlook, so in spite of the expense it's hard to beat a view like this! Can't say enough about how clean the restrooms and shower facilities were. Fairly quiet, even being as close to Highway 61 as it is . There is a new section to the park where the roads are newly paved which is nice because the main entrance is quite bumpy, but that's one of the only negatives I could find. Very close to town and just a couple minute drive from the Two Harbors lighthouse.
Sep 12, 2023 · Bishop Media-KenThere was a mudpit next to our pad. This was the worst campsite I have ever stayed at. The pad was thin and not level. There was nowhere to park my truck after placing the 25 foot trailer as far back as possible. The notion of having a campfire with the fire pit ring next to the trailer was not possible. The picnic table was stuck between the bush and the trailer making it unusable. The site was littered with bits of garbage, and the fire pit was full of burnt out logs. The grass on the opposite side from the mudpit was three feet tall. The idea of cleaning and maintenance of this site was none existent. The posted quiet time of 10pm was a mere suggestion because at midnight there where numerous campfires (in 30 degree heat) still going with lots of accompanying noise.
