Campsite 67 Introduce
Searching for "camping near me" that offers a degree of privacy and space in the Little Orleans, Maryland area? Campsite 67, located in Little Orleans, MD 21766, USA, presents itself as a potentially suitable option, particularly for those seeking a more secluded camping experience. However, it's important to note that the available information about this specific campsite is limited, primarily consisting of two customer reviews that offer some insights into its size, privacy, and potential challenges.
The environment surrounding Campsite 67 in Little Orleans, Maryland, is likely characterized by the natural beauty of the region. Little Orleans is situated in Western Maryland, known for its scenic landscapes, including forests and possibly proximity to waterways or other natural attractions. One reviewer described the site as "very private," suggesting a degree of seclusion from other campsites and potentially a more immersive natural experience. The other reviewer mentioned it being "big enough" to accommodate a 22-foot travel trailer and potentially larger RVs with careful maneuvering, indicating a reasonably sized area. Additionally, this reviewer noted that the site had "spots for about 6 tents without being right next to each other," further emphasizing the spaciousness of the camping area. While the specific natural features of Campsite 67 itself (e.g., tree cover, proximity to water sources) are not detailed, the overall environment of Little Orleans offers a backdrop of natural charm for those seeking "camping near me."
Information regarding the specific services and amenities available at Campsite 67 is extremely limited in the provided reviews. Neither review mentions any specific campground facilities such as restrooms, showers, water hookups, electrical hookups, fire pits, or picnic tables directly associated with this particular campsite. The reviews primarily focus on the physical characteristics of the site itself. Therefore, it is impossible to provide a comprehensive overview of the services offered based solely on this information. Potential campers should be aware that Campsite 67 might be a more primitive or undeveloped site, possibly lacking some of the standard amenities found in larger campgrounds. To ascertain the availability of any services or facilities associated with Campsite 67 or the surrounding area, it would be necessary to seek additional information from the booking platform or potential hosts.
The features of Campsite 67, as gleaned from the limited reviews, primarily relate to its size and layout. One key feature is its spaciousness, with one reviewer indicating it could accommodate a 22-foot travel trailer (and potentially larger with experience) and had room for approximately six tents with good spacing. This suggests that the site is suitable for both RV and tent camping, offering flexibility for different types of "camping near me" setups. Another significant feature highlighted is the privacy of the site, described as "very private," which could be a major draw for campers seeking seclusion. However, one reviewer noted a potential drawback regarding the site's levelness for RVs, stating it was "not the greatest as far as level for an RV" but manageable with some effort. This is an important consideration for RV owners. Additionally, the second reviewer mentioned the presence of "pxxp mines around camp ground," which is a critical feature to be aware of and exercise caution regarding. This suggests a potential hazard in the general vicinity of the campsite that requires vigilance, especially for campers with pets or children.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not contain any details about current discounts, special offers, or seasonal rates specifically for Campsite 67. As it appears to be an individual campsite within a larger area (though the extent of this area is unclear), pricing and availability would likely depend on the booking platform or the entity managing the site. To obtain accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, availability, and any potential promotions, it is essential to check the relevant booking platform or contact the landowner or management directly. The lack of information in the reviews means no promotional details can be provided here.
The two customer reviews offer a limited but informative glimpse into Campsite 67. Both reviewers highlight the spaciousness and potential for accommodating larger vehicles and multiple tents. The emphasis on privacy in one review suggests a secluded camping experience. However, the review noting the unevenness of the site for RVs is a crucial point for RV owners to consider. The more concerning comment about "pxxp mines around camp ground" cannot be ignored and serves as a significant safety consideration for all potential campers at or near Campsite 67. While the first reviewer stated they would "definitely be back," the second reviewer's comment about the potential hazard is a serious factor that prospective campers need to be aware of and potentially seek clarification on before booking.
When considering Campsite 67 for your "camping near me" trip, the spaciousness and potential privacy of the site appear to be its main draws. It seems suitable for both tent and RV camping, although RV owners should be prepared for a potentially uneven site. However, the mention of "pxxp mines around camp ground" is a significant safety concern that requires careful consideration and potentially further investigation or clarification from the booking platform or landowner. Campers should exercise extreme caution in the area. Due to the limited information available, it is strongly recommended to seek additional details about the campsite's amenities, the accuracy and nature of the potential hazards mentioned, and any specific guidelines or safety precautions provided by the booking platform or landowner before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Campsite 67 in Little Orleans, Maryland, offers a potentially spacious and private "camping near me" option suitable for both tents and RVs (with a note about potential unevenness for RVs). However, the critical mention of "pxxp mines around camp ground" is a significant safety concern that prospective campers must be aware of and address with extreme caution. Due to the limited information regarding services, amenities, and the specifics of the environment and potential hazards, it is crucial to seek further details from the booking platform or landowner before considering Campsite 67 for your camping needs.

Big enough you could definitely get a 22 foot Travel Trailer in and possibly a 25 or 16 foot if you have experience maneuvering a Trailer. I only give it 4 stars since it is not the greatest as far as level for an RV, but can be done without to much trouble. This site had spots for about 6 tents without being right next to each other. We will definitely be back.
Jul 19, 2023 · Tommy BVery private site. Big enough flat ground for 3 tents. You just gotta watch out for pxxp mines around camp ground.
Apr 17, 2024 · dong kimVery nice campsite in Greenridge State Forest. The main site is a bit back from the main road so nice and quiet. Also does not get dust clouds thrown into the site by passing traffic.
