The provision of plenty of firewood is a notable service for those planning to utilize the fire pit. For those needing to stay connected, it's crucial to understand that cell service is generally unavailable in the area, and the provided cell booster has limited functionality, only working when phones are in direct contact with it. Dragonfly Lake similarly implies a lakeside setting, potentially with features that maximize the enjoyment of the water. The "green" aspect mentioned in a review suggests an eco-conscious approach, although further details about this are not provided. Dragonfly Lake / The Beaver Lodge / The Pine Treehouse Reviews
Stayed at the Beaver Lodge for one night. We really enjoyed the short trails, the fire pit, and being on the lake. The cabin also stayed really warm at night which was great!
Nov 18, 2024 · Calvin TustanIt's nice for what it is. It's "green", but they have recently run 20 Amp power down to it. Just be aware that it's a fairly steepish 700 foot gravel driveway down to the site. There was supposed to be a wagon to load your stuff into, but the other cabin hogged them the whole weekend. No oven and 2 burners in the kitchen and it's a slightly larger than dorm-sized fridge. They did provide plenty of firewood. NO cell service and the cell booster only worked when the phones were touching them. Even walking up to the parking area only got us about a half a bar. It does have a TV now and a blu-ray player. Other than that, prepare to be unplugged. Nice for a low tech getaway.
Oct 16, 2022 · Porcupine ThumbsThe whole place is so much fun. The only thing bad about my experience here is the lake smelled pretty bad, but you can't really help that because it's a natural water source. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the nature is great, and they have some fun games and boats for everyone to use.
