To mitigate this risk, the reviewer suggests taking precautions such as leaving a few chairs or other personal items at your site to clearly indicate occupancy. Ida Creek Campground Reviews
Great campground, close to the water, it also large trees for cover and attaching a hammock or tarp shelter. There are 2 pit toilets, and a water source. The road to get there is a little rough but any 2wd vehicle can do it.I tried fishing but the current was too fast, at early summer.I did notice people pulling out other folks reservations, hence be careful with that, and leave a few chairs or something to ensure no one takes your site.Very quiet sites, i think sites 1, 2,3 are amazing.Enjoy!!
Jun 24, 2022 · Neo XploresI took a drive up the Icicle and stopped here at Ida Creek Campground for some lunch. The campground does not disappoint, being a little bit off the main road and along Icicle Creek. This is also a great place to fly fish, as the small trout in the creek are feisty. I would advise checking the regulations before fishing, as they have changed over the years.
Aug 05, 2024 · Aaron MaruskaCamped at lot 7. Beautiful forrest surroundings on a creek. A firepit with grill was provided. Minimal bugs and mosquito kept to a minimum with bug repellant. The park host from Upper Johnnys was great. Also purchased 3 bundles of wood for $20. The creek water was super cold.
