Park Place Lakeside Introduce
For local users exploring the "camping near me" category in the Mooresburg, Tennessee area, Park Place Lakeside, situated at 673 County Line Rd, Mooresburg, TN 37811, USA, presents a unique option characterized by its lakeside location and a strong sense of community. Based on the limited but insightful customer reviews, Park Place Lakeside appears to be a place where long-term renters thrive, emphasizing cleanliness and security, although some aspects of the amenities may be limited or unconventional. If you are searching within "camping near me" for a community-oriented, lakeside setting, particularly for an extended stay, Park Place Lakeside warrants consideration.
The environment of Park Place Lakeside is, as the name suggests, its proximity to a lake, presumably Cherokee Lake, given its location in Mooresburg. Lakeside camping offers inherent appeal, providing opportunities for scenic views, potential water access for activities like fishing or boating (though a direct boat ramp on-site isn't mentioned), and a generally relaxed atmosphere. For local users prioritizing a "camping near me" experience with waterfront access and the associated natural beauty, Park Place Lakeside's location is a significant advantage. The positive mention of "lawn maintenance good" suggests that the grounds are kept tidy and visually appealing, contributing to a pleasant overall environment.
One of the standout features of Park Place Lakeside, according to a reviewer, is its cleanliness and security. The description of it as a "great place, very clean and secure" instills confidence in the upkeep and safety of the property. This is a crucial factor for anyone searching within the "camping near me" category, especially those planning to stay for an extended period or with families. The emphasis on security suggests that the management prioritizes the well-being of its residents and guests.
The development of a strong community is another notable aspect of Park Place Lakeside. The same reviewer mentioned that "people become family and everyone knows who you are very quickly." This intimate and friendly atmosphere can be a significant draw for those seeking more than just a temporary campsite; it suggests a welcoming environment where residents connect with each other. The fact that "people are waiting for openings" and "not many leave" further underscores the positive sense of community and the desirability of staying at Park Place Lakeside for the long term, which might be relevant for local users considering extended "camping near me" options.
However, the reviews also highlight some limitations regarding the amenities. One reviewer noted, "Have not seen the bathroom as it is normal closed," which raises concerns about the availability and accessibility of restroom facilities for all residents or guests. If the bathroom is indeed "normally closed," this would be a significant drawback for short-term campers or those who rely on communal facilities. This suggests that Park Place Lakeside might primarily cater to RVers or long-term residents who have their own bathroom facilities within their units.
Another amenity mentioned is Wi-Fi, but it is described as "terrible." In today's connected world, reliable internet access is often considered essential, even for those seeking an outdoor experience. The poor Wi-Fi could be a significant inconvenience for those needing to work remotely, stay in touch with family, or simply enjoy online entertainment during their stay. This is an important factor for local users to consider when evaluating Park Place Lakeside as a "camping near me" option.
The pavilion area is also described in a somewhat negative light, with a reviewer stating it is "filled with boats, golf carts and tools on the only table." This suggests that the communal spaces might not be well-organized or readily available for their intended use by all residents. If the pavilion is meant to be a gathering space, its use for storage could detract from its functionality and appeal. This is another aspect for potential visitors to be aware of.
Finally, one reviewer commented that the "Lot rent too high for what is provided." This suggests that while the location and community might be appealing, the cost of staying at Park Place Lakeside might not align with the perceived value of the amenities and services offered. This is a crucial consideration for local users comparing different "camping near me" options based on budget and expectations.
Given the limited information and the mixed nature of the reviews, it is difficult to ascertain specific promotional information. The high demand ("people are waiting for openings") suggests that they may not need to offer special promotions to attract residents. However, for local users interested in learning about current rates and availability, contacting Park Place Lakeside directly at (423) 923-5950 or +1 423-923-5950 would be necessary. It would also be prudent to inquire about the availability and condition of the bathroom facilities and the reliability of the Wi-Fi before making a decision.
In conclusion, Park Place Lakeside offers a lakeside "camping near me" experience in Mooresburg, TN, characterized by a clean and secure environment and a strong sense of community among its residents. It appears to be a popular choice for long-term stays, likely catering primarily to RVers. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported limitations regarding bathroom facilities, Wi-Fi quality, and the usability of communal spaces like the pavilion. The cost of lot rent might also be a factor to consider. For local users prioritizing a friendly, lakeside community for an extended stay and who are self-sufficient in terms of amenities, Park Place Lakeside could be a good fit. Direct contact with the management is recommended to clarify the current status of amenities and pricing.

Jul 02, 2020 · Michelle StooksburyGreat campground. They keep the place so neat and tidy. They keep the grass cut and make sure the camp sites are maintained. There is a “beach” like area with sand at the water (which has little to no traffic so families can enjoy swimming, fishing or kayaking.) Nice playground for kids. We love it here!

Aug 15, 2023 · SharonK.This is a very amazing place to relax and feel safe and have just a great time. It is still a bit cool and we had some windy days. But the staff came around letting us know. They look out for all the campers. This is my second season and I have had such a wonderful week even though it was cool and windy.I'm looking forward for this summer and the lake will come back up. It a really nice, clean and safe place to just relax and camp.
