Everhart Campground Introduce
For those searching within the 'camping near me' category and seeking a lakeside camping experience perfect for families, Everhart Campground, located at 5676 Fall Creek Dock Rd, Russellville, TN 37860, USA, emerges as a highly recommended destination. Contactable via phone at (423) 587-3559 or mobile phone +1 423-587-3559, this campground has garnered positive feedback, particularly for its family-friendly atmosphere and beautiful location overlooking Douglas Lake. The enthusiastic reviews suggest a welcoming environment and a picturesque setting that appeals to a wide range of campers.
The environment of Everhart Campground is undoubtedly its prime attraction, centered around its location overlooking Douglas Lake. This large reservoir in East Tennessee is known for its scenic beauty, offering expansive water views and opportunities for various lake-related activities. Campers can expect a lakeside setting with potential access to the water for boating, fishing, swimming, and simply enjoying the views. The surrounding area of Russellville, Tennessee, is characterized by rolling hills and natural landscapes, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The mention of an "open clear view of the lake" and a "large open porch to sit and enjoy the view" in one of the reviews underscores the prime waterfront location and the potential for stunning vistas from certain vantage points within the campground.
The positive review specifically highlighting "Great place for kids and family!!!" strongly suggests that Everhart Campground is designed with families in mind. This could translate to features such as spacious campsites suitable for families with children, perhaps play areas or open spaces for kids to enjoy, and a generally welcoming and safe environment for families. The lake itself provides a natural playground for children, offering opportunities for swimming and water-based fun. The repeated expression of love for the place ("We Absolutely Love It Here!!!") indicates a high level of satisfaction among family visitors.
Another reviewer who recently purchased property overlooking the lake further emphasizes the appeal of the location and the peaceful ambiance. Their statement, "Always quiet and peaceful feeling. Love this place," suggests that Everhart Campground offers a serene and tranquil environment, ideal for those looking to escape the noise and stress of everyday life. The fact that someone was motivated to buy property in the area due to their positive experience with the campground speaks volumes about the desirability of the location and the overall quality of the environment.
While specific details about the services and features of Everhart Campground are limited in the provided reviews, we can infer some likely offerings based on its nature as a campground and the positive feedback received. Being a "great place for kids and family" often implies amenities such as clean restroom facilities, potentially shower facilities, and possibly picnic areas or communal gathering spots. Given its lakeside location, it is highly probable that the campground offers some form of lake access, such as a boat launch or a swimming area. The mention of a "dock road" in the address (Fall Creek Dock Rd) further supports the likelihood of boating and water access being key features of the campground.
The reviewer who bought property mentioned an "open clear view of the lake" and a "large open porch," which might be features of specific rental units or common areas within the campground. If Everhart Campground offers cabin rentals or other forms of accommodation in addition to traditional campsites, these might include such amenities. However, the primary designation as a "campground" suggests that the core offering is campsites for tents and/or RVs. The availability of hook-ups for RVs (electricity, water, sewer) is not specified but is a common feature in many established campgrounds and would be a significant draw for RV travelers seeking a lakeside destination.
To effectively introduce Everhart Campground to local users within the 'camping near me' category, promotional messaging should emphasize its key strengths: its beautiful location on Douglas Lake, its reputation as a fantastic place for families, and its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Highlighting the potential for lake activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming, as well as the scenic lake views, would attract water enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxing lakeside retreat. The positive testimonials from satisfied customers, particularly the strong endorsement from a family and the appreciation for the peacefulness from another visitor, should be leveraged in promotional materials.
Potential promotional angles could include: "Create lasting family memories at Everhart Campground on beautiful Douglas Lake – your perfect 'camping near me'!"; "Escape to the tranquility of Everhart Campground – enjoy stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere in East Tennessee!"; or "Looking for lakeside camping near you? Everhart Campground offers a fantastic experience for families and nature lovers on the shores of Douglas Lake!" Emphasizing the family-friendly amenities and the scenic waterfront location would likely resonate with the target audience.
To obtain more detailed information about Everhart Campground, such as the types of campsites available (tent, RV, or both), specific amenities offered (hook-ups, restrooms, showers, laundry, recreational facilities), and reservation procedures, potential visitors should contact the campground directly using the provided phone numbers. Online camping directories and review platforms might also offer additional insights and user-submitted photos. However, based on the provided information, the core appeal of Everhart Campground lies in its beautiful lakeside setting on Douglas Lake and its reputation as a welcoming and enjoyable destination, particularly for families seeking a peaceful outdoor getaway.
In conclusion, Everhart Campground presents a compelling option within the 'camping near me' category for those desiring a lakeside camping experience in East Tennessee. Its location on Douglas Lake offers scenic beauty and opportunities for water-based activities. The strong positive feedback, especially regarding its family-friendly atmosphere and peaceful environment, underscores its appeal to a wide range of campers. While specific details about all services and features require further inquiry, the available information paints a picture of a beloved lakeside retreat perfect for creating lasting memories with family and enjoying the tranquility of the Tennessee landscape.

Great place for kids and family!!! We Absolutely Love It Here!!!
Jul 01, 2024 · Brittany KnightJust Bought a place overlooking the lake. Got lucky! One side is a open clear view of the lake. With large open porch to sit and enjoy the view. Go there every chance I get . Always quiet and peaceful feeling. Love this place .
Apr 26, 2022 · Iris DragoIt s nice and quiet mostly, we 've had a camper there for about 4 yrs, most everyone is friendly, very clean, just a swimming hole tho. Wish it had a pool at least for kids, but it does have a nice play ground. Rent is 195.00 month plus electricity, but I m near the water, I think they have cheaper spots higher up on hill.
Aug 02, 2019 · Jolene ShowmanWe have a camper here. The campground is accessible only by someone letting you in or actually having a camper on site.the playground is modern and well maintained. The restrooms are relatively clean, considering it is a campground.
Sep 24, 2023 · Chad HillLove it here, truly peaceful and beautiful. Some kind of calming and rejuvenating.
