Peaceful Meadows Farm and Camping Reviews
Hands down, the nicest people you will ever meet. We stayed there for an extended time, and for all 3 months, Michelle and Wendall made sure we were taken care of. We had full hook up for the entire time and there was plenty of room for the pups to run around :) didn’t spend a lot of time at the pond due to working schedules but the area was clean and well taken care of. We loved our stay and would absolutely do it again.
Sep 06, 2024 · Nichole BeallI cannot say enough great things about this property! We stayed for 3 months as I travel nursed at UVA. Michelle and Wendell are the best hosts. They’re incredibly responsive to any needs and will help with anything they can! Our daughter especially loved Daisy, Bear and Delilah! The fishing pond is well stocked for plenty of catch and release fun, hiking trails are abundant and easy to manage, and the property is immaculately kept. We’ll have to make a special trip back just to visit Michelle and Wendell again!
Dec 30, 2023 · Christina Quinn ChavarriaIt wasn't quite what we thought it would be. However Wendell was in the garage as we pulled up. Took us to our site. Helped get it lined up. He came by every day to check on us. I arrived sick and just got worse. The old goat got it next. We were a mess. There are no grills, bring one, Wendell will bring a fire ring by. Picnic tables... just bring one or eat off your lap.The farm itself is quiet, birds chirping, it's beautiful. There's only a couple 50amp slots which is what we reserved however there was a problem. We took a 30 amp. Worked great for us.So take that road! Enjoy!
Sep 29, 2023 · di CaslerWe stayed for 3 months(september-december) the campground is located behind the owners home on their very large property. I think They said it's about 300 acres which includes the corn fields that surround the property. It is very beautiful and well maintained. It has many trails that circle the campground and lead to many small ponds and a large one. It looked like they have 7-8 full hookup spots, a few with just electricity, some that are boondock spots, and 1 cabin that is absolutely gorgeous inside. We had a family member come visit and stay at the cabin. We paid $1100 a month for full hookup up including electricity. Our starlink didn't work due to all the trees but they have really good wifi. The owners were always responsive and helpful.
