SkyPark Camp + RV Resort Introduce
For our local users in Singapore exploring "Camping Near Me" and "RV Parks Near Me" options, SkyPark Camp + RV Resort, located at 29297 CA-18 BOX 369, Skyforest, CA 92385, USA, offers a glimpse into a popular mountain retreat in Southern California. While a direct comparison to camping or RV experiences in Singapore might be limited by geographical differences, understanding the features and reviews of SkyPark can provide valuable insights into the types of amenities, environments, and considerations that are common in well-regarded campgrounds and RV resorts internationally. This information can be helpful for planning future overseas trips or simply appreciating the diversity of camping experiences available worldwide.
SkyPark Camp + RV Resort appears to be a highly regarded destination, particularly for those visiting the Running Springs area for activities like snowboarding. One enthusiastic reviewer describes it as their "favorite RV Park to stay at" during their snowboarding trips. This suggests a convenient location for winter sports enthusiasts. A significant positive highlighted is the "Beautiful view," indicating a scenic environment that enhances the camping or RV experience. The park is also praised for being "very clean," which is a crucial factor for comfort and hygiene. Furthermore, the staff is consistently described as "super friendly," contributing to a welcoming and positive atmosphere. The reviewer recounts an exceptional instance of staff going above and beyond by personally shoveling a spot for them when the snow plow didn't arrive, showcasing a high level of dedication and service.
The resort offers a variety of sites, including some with specific features. One reviewer who stayed at "site 30 on the rim" describes it as a "beautiful spot" that was "paved," providing a level and easily accessible area for their 20’ Airstream. The paved surface is a notable advantage for RVers, ensuring stability and reducing dust or mud. The same reviewer provides valuable navigational advice for those with larger vehicles, suggesting taking an "immediate left and go the back driveway" upon entering the property to access the back sites. They note that the "straight on driveway is hard to navigate since it’s all one way traffic through the sites" and mention having to maneuver their Airstream with some backing up. This indicates that while the sites themselves might be accessible, navigating the internal roads with larger RVs could present a slight challenge, something to be aware of when planning your arrival.
Another reviewer who stayed during the busy Memorial Day weekend, when the park was "completely full," still had an overall positive experience. They noted that "for the most part everyone was kind and respectful," indicating a generally pleasant community atmosphere among the campers and RVers. While they did mention one disruptive group with "wild and crazy children" that slightly detracted from the relaxation, they concluded that "all in all we liked it." This suggests that even during peak season, the positive aspects of the resort generally outweigh minor inconveniences. A significant advantage mentioned by this reviewer is the park's proximity to outdoor activities, noting that it's "a short drive to lots of good hiking." They also appreciated the accessibility to regional attractions, mentioning a day trip to "Big Bear Lake," a popular destination in the area.
However, this same reviewer also pointed out a key drawback: the proximity of the sites. They noted that "the sites were a little close so you can hear all of your neighbor’s sounds and conversations." This lack of spacing can impact privacy and the sense of tranquility, especially during busy periods. The reviewer suggests that "if you came on a less busy weekend I imagine it would be a very relaxing stay," implying that the noise issue is exacerbated by high occupancy.
Based on these reviews, SkyPark Camp + RV Resort offers a compelling combination of scenic beauty, cleanliness, and friendly service, making it a favorite for many visiting the Skyforest and Running Springs areas. Its paved and level RV sites are a significant plus, and the proximity to hiking trails and attractions like Big Bear Lake adds to its appeal for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff's helpfulness, even going above and beyond in challenging situations, is a strong indicator of good management and customer care.
However, potential guests should be aware of the potential for crowded conditions and noise during peak seasons due to the close spacing of the sites. Navigating the internal roads with larger RVs might also require some caution. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall sentiment from the reviews is positive, emphasizing the beautiful views, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere.
For local users in Singapore considering "Camping Near Me" or "RV Parks Near Me," SkyPark Camp + RV Resort provides a benchmark for what to look for in a well-regarded facility. Key aspects to consider include the scenic environment, the cleanliness and maintenance of the grounds, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the types of sites available (e.g., paved, level), the proximity to local attractions and activities (like hiking), and potential drawbacks such as site spacing and noise levels during peak times. While the specific environment (mountainous with snow in winter) may differ significantly from camping or RV options in Singapore, the principles of a good campground or RV resort – cleanliness, friendly service, access to activities, and a pleasant environment – remain universally desirable.
In conclusion, SkyPark Camp + RV Resort in Skyforest, CA, offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and convenient access to outdoor activities and regional attractions. It is particularly popular among those visiting for snowboarding in Running Springs. While the close proximity of sites can lead to noise issues during busy periods, the overall positive experiences highlight its strengths as a desirable camping and RV destination. Potential visitors should consider the timing of their visit and the size of their RV when making reservations.

SkyPark Camp + RV Resort Reviews
This is our favorite RV Park to stay at when we come to Running Springs for snowboarding. Beautiful view, very clean, super friendly staff. Today we came and we were told that the snow plow truck did not show up, the staff used their own shovels to make a spot available for us. We are so thankful for them!
Mar 16, 2025 · Ali BWe stayed in site 30 on the rim. It was a beautiful spot. It was paved so it was level and not too hard to get in to. Coming into the property you’re going to want to take an immediate left and go the back driveway if your in the sites in the back as the straight on driveway is hard to navigate since it’s all one way traffic through the sites. We had to back up and turn a bit with our 20’ Airstream which wasn’t bad but I could see something larger having issues. We stayed Memorial Day weekend which meant the park was completely full. For the most part everyone was kind and respectful. There was one site of wild and crazy children that made part of our stay a little less relaxing but all in all we liked it. It’s a short drive to lots of good hiking. We even were able to drive to big bear lake for one of the days. The only cons for us were that the sites were a little close so you can hear all of your neighbor’s sounds and conversations. If you came on a less busy weekend I imagine it would be a very relaxing stay.
May 29, 2023 · Rebecca QuintanaBeautiful campground with amazing views! We recently camped here in February. It was the only campsite open during this time cuz of the weather. It was very cold! I do not recommend camping here with a car unless you have extra warm blankets or a sleeping bag. It snowed during the night which was lovely. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and scenery. The staff was very polite and helpful as well. The bathrooms were super clean, they even had showers and laundry. The communal bonfire was very nice too. I will come back during warm days and check out their bike trails!
Feb 06, 2024 · SteveWould have been an easy 5 stars but they invite you to have breakfast at a place across the street only to be greeted by some burned out security guard shooting us away since they're closed Monday thru Wednesday? Why not just put that on the invitation? Closed Monday thru Wednesday? Other than wasting time on that part of things the place is very nice!!
Oct 14, 2024 · Dominic SanchezThe views from this campground are gorgeous! There are nice clean restrooms, multiple community gas firepits, and level sites. The sites are too close together for larger rigs (ours is 34). Our slideout was about 6 feet from our neighbor’s trailer door. Their picnic table was 4-5 feet from where we dump our sewage. If you are looking to be close to Santa’s village, the discount you receive is not enough to buy a cup of coffee. We have stayed at multiple RV "resorts.“ This is a nice campground, however , the price is most likely the reason it was 20% capacity on a holiday weekend.
