Environment and Atmosphere:
Located in Running Springs, Camp Pollock likely benefits from the natural beauty of the San Bernardino Mountains. This highlights the importance for parents and group leaders to be fully aware of and understand the camp's policies regarding electronic devices and communication procedures. While the camp aims to provide a structured environment, clear communication and understanding of these rules are crucial to avoid potential issues and ensure the well-being of participants, especially in emergency situations.

Local users interested in utilizing Camp Pollock for a group camping experience should reach out to their local Scout council for information on availability, booking procedures, fees, and any specific program requirements. They would be the best source for details on the activities currently offered (including the status of the zip line), the types of accommodation available for groups, and any specific guidelines or policies that visiting groups need to adhere to.
It's also advisable for group leaders to inquire about emergency communication protocols and the best way to reach participants if needed urgently, especially in light of the concern raised in the second review.

It offers a range of engaging activities such as rock climbing, archery, and water sports in a natural mountain setting. However, the concern raised by a parent regarding phone confiscation and emergency communication highlights the importance of understanding and adhering to the camp's policies and ensuring clear communication channels, especially for emergency situations.
Local users interested in "Camping Near Me" for group outings with a focus on youth activities should consider contacting their local Boy Scouts of America council to inquire about the availability of Camp Pollock, booking procedures, program details, and any relevant policies. Camp Pollock, Hubert Eaton Scout Reservation Reviews
Super fun! I went as a cadet and I believe all of my cadets enjoyed. There's rock climbing, archery, and a zip line that sadly isn't being used at the moment. There is a man-made lake that boy scouts use for kayaking and canoeing. Definitely excited for our next trip!
Apr 10, 2022 · Brianna NorenThe camp was great and supper nice but when my son was doing climbing badges he was waiting for his turn which is like 15-20 min btw he was on his phone and the counselors confiscated it. Also they were very petty about this ILLEGAL confiscation and I had no idea and needed to call my son for an emergency and the counselor never picked up or confirmed anything so to that I am very angery and frustrated by their behavior

One of my favorite activities was making a raft, playing with the small creek was fun. I also really liked the sketching activity. The staff were awesome and made this camping trip very fun! I would like to say thank you to Romeo and Derek, it’s been very fun till it lasted.

Oct 16, 2024 · Alan ZhangI actually went on a 6th grade camping trip too, on 3/11 - 3/13, and it was SO GOOD!!!! The food was absolutely delicious, the activities were fun and also educational, the cabin's were clean, comfortable, and luxurious. The only part I did not like is the bus ride. But the camp is very relvent, and even the showers and toilets are modern. Thank you Ben, Jasper, Adams, Grahams, and Mr. Derek. For all those fun games, like Bob the Weasle, Name Game, and Concentration. A part of my life I shall never forget.
