Sleepy Hollow Reviews
We like this campground for its location, and after a long day of riding The Great River Road on the Harley, it's nice to return to a quiet place. The bathrooms and shower rooms are simple and clean. The owners are easy to find and always around. The owners drive around early evening to sell firewood for the firepits of each campsite, and they usually visit for a bit and ask about your day, nice personal touch.
May 31, 2023 · Dennis BesawWe were at this campground from Thursday, July 13th- Sunday, July 16th and we had such a wonderful time! Very secluded and quiet campground (just the way we like it!). We came in on our motorcycles and trailers and set up camp.- spacious ! I appreciate how you have access to water to wash your hands close to our tents and also having a port-a-john! Also have shower’s available which came in handy after riding our Harleys all day. The owners Rod and Karen are very nice people and checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. They also have bundles of firewood to purchase.I would highly recommend!!!Laura and Dave
Aug 02, 2023 · Laura NelsonPleasant small Campground nestled in a valley within the beautiful hills of Wisconsin. Campground owners are very nice and friendly, the sites are very large but offer no privacy. Clean but very basic bathroom and shower, facilities not heated. Lots of very good hiking trails. Very close to nearby tourist locations such as antiques shops and wineries. Rates are reasonable and worth it.
Sep 30, 2018 · Matthew DeBoerVery nice "hidden" campground. Off the main roads, go here for peace and quiet. Tucked in between cornfields and the hills. Nice bathroom and showers. Full hookups available. Owners are very kind and helpful. Will stay here again.
Jul 06, 2022 · Tracey DickinsonWill never book here ever niether will any of my family or friends.Booked for the week end of Ashley for the arts no sites available could only set up in their parking lot . Since storm was comming and minor family emergency. Couldn't make it.But they took fees anyways. When I complained they lied and said they moved me to a cite due to my camper size. Which was funny we were bringing our small pop up.She couldn't remeber my camper size. She could have offered say using that fee for a different week end or next years event. But no greedily kept it. Said she had turn 50 people away really so then ine would have taken it. If they need the money that bad they can have it. But my wife, my extended family qnd w group of friends I have that are avid campers. Will bever ever rent from them again. Two days fees will send much more to other campgrounds. Would have eaten the fees. But not being led to or disrespected by someone I am paying. When I contacted her she could have been polite instead of impolite. Avoid this place.
