Forest River Campground

Winona, MN 55987, USA

4.0
This spring-like weather has me looking forward to camping at Forest River, and the relaxing time we spend there. We’ve only camped for two seasons, but we have made some life-long friendships with some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve met in a long time. Our children and grandchildren visit and we have made some great memories together. The sunsets on the water are breathtaking. There are occasional social gatherings to meet “newcomers” and the food and games and fellowship are great! In the evening, you can enjoy your own music and campfire, or sit back and let some of the neighbors share theirs! The children are very well behaved and seem really happy. I’ve never even seen an argument! There’s just too much to keep them busy! And when they catch some fish, or don’t, they have smiles on their faces as they go past either way. I’m looking forward to another relaxing camping season, and the friendly pot-lucks and campfires with friends and family 😊 The sounds of the river allow me the most restful sleep… I really cannot wait for another season to begin! See you all soon! - Brenda Engen
