Driving slowly and cautiously is advised, especially for vehicles without four-wheel drive, to ensure a safe arrival at the campground.
Another interesting anecdote from a visitor mentions encountering friendly dogs near the campground. While it's noted that these dogs belong to someone living nearby, it speaks to the welcoming and perhaps more rural nature of the location. Spring Creek Campground Reviews
So quiet and peaceful. Road to get there a little rough on my car. Recommend driving very slowly if you don’t have 4x4. Beautiful area. Not too far from Mountain View and the Ozarks Folk Museum. Met some dogs that belong to someone who lives near by. I wanted to bring them home with me lol.
