Spruce Row Campground Reviews
Recently spent 3 nights there with our 6 year old niece and 17 year old nephew- his first time camping. We had a great time! The place is beautiful. We tent camped on a site with water and electric. The swimming pool is huge and easy to get in and out of, even in the deep end. The fishing pond is great and my nephew and I caught a lot of fish, from small ones to 1 huge bass. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of weekend activities for the kids. We will definitely return.
Aug 11, 2024 · Sean McLaughlinWe stayed there 4 nights and it was great for what we needed. Close to local parks and sightseeing. Great place for campers with dogs as there are many dog walking trails around the campsite that go for a very log way. There are many free dog poop bags and bins ready available so there should never be an excuse not to pick up after your own pet. Water, electrical and sewer were all in a standard location as most parks offer. One or two of the fire pits were a bit close to other trailer sites.
Oct 02, 2023 · Jim JoynsonMajor electrical issues at Spruce Row. We paid over $50 per night for full hook ups, 30amp. In the middle of the day the electric gets throttled down to the point our surge protector tripped. They refused to refund us, blaming the power company. In the midst of the power coming on and off multiple times during the day we found our Victron Inverter burnt a fuse. Low and high power are not good for your camper. We ended up leaving early with no refund. Will never stay here again and would never recommend this place.
Jul 07, 2024 · Those Who Glamp TogetherI have done a ton of camping in my life but have never in my life felt like the bathroom I was using was worse than a truck stop. This place is surface level clean. Meaning they mow the grass plenty, and seem to make the seasonal folks keep things pretty clean and orderly, however, it is quite run down if you care to really look. The showers made me feel more grimy after I used them and I know for a FACT those bathrooms are not cleaned daily and even then, it's not anything other than superficial cleaning. Structures are falling apart internally, cob webs and bugs, black mold....you name it.Very sad cause this place could be a lot better if anyone cared about actually fixing things.
Aug 16, 2023 · Jennifer BlairWe weren’t completely sure about this campground when we made the reservation but we took a chance on it. The roads weren’t great but taking it at the posted 5mph we got through just fine. The bathroom and showers could use a little updating. The water temperature fluctuates greatly when two people tried to use the shower at the same time. Our campsite #57 was quite muddy but it had just rained for a couple days and was a bit of a walk to the bathroom. It was nice being by the stream and the dog walk area. They do have a very nice little store that has a good variety of items. The location was great for the activities we were doing. Would possibly stay here again if there weren’t other options.
