Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation Reviews
Fantastic Staff. All leaders and staff member are super friendly. Our guide was Ella who brought coffee every morning for all leaders and cheerful and very well informed. The campsites are very well accommodated for Florida weather, they have a pavilion with ceiling fans and electrical outlets that allow to connect fans. Clean and well maintained open air showers. Wide variety of summer camp classes. In general a great option for locals. The only reason I’m giving a 4 stars is the food. It does have a good taste, but not enough for the amount of calories burned between activities and the heat. Please note that this will not stop our unit from returning (maybe we’ll cook a little more). We all had a great time.Update 07/22/24: It's the first time I see some many "Completed" merit badges. Usually we go to other summer camps and we see the report with mostly "Partial" merit badges. As a leader (and as a parent) I truly appreciate their effort in making those classes a one time-done activity, instead of making a merit badge another school homework. Thanks Kris and staff!
Jul 22, 2024 · Virginia PerezThis is my first summer at Tanah Keeta, one week with Boy Scouts and a 1/2 week with Cub Scouts. The staff at TK consistently brings fun for the kids. They bring the energy every day all day. Their ability to adapt to changing conditions like weather or event adjustments is amazing. Everyone is very friendly, quick to smile, and helpful regardless of your experience level as a child or adult leader. #TK2023
Jul 14, 2023 · Skyler PollardThe camp staff at Tanah Keeta were the nicest, funniest, most spirited camp staff ever. This is literally the place where camp songs/skits are born. The camp is well cared for, and it shows. The only problem we had was with the communication with the leadership. Still, the wonderful staff made up for it, and all the scouts had a great time.
Jun 21, 2024 · Thomas NagyGreat place! Loved the layout of the different camp areas on site. Clear trails and plenty of fishing areas.
Jan 27, 2024 · Danie HTanah keetah is like a second home for me. I know the place like the back of my hand, and there's really no place I feel as comfortable within the scouts. The staff are welcoming, helpful, funny, and always where you need them. The campsite is kept nice and clean, and the grounds are amazing.
