The Silver Spur Resort Reviews
I am only commenting on the restaurant as we didn't stay there or see anything else. The approach is a little unknowing. They don't have many signs, and you could miss it because you're on the highway doing 50. The service we received at the restaurant was great. I have 0 complaints about service. The nachos were really good, the sauce was awesome, and everything was good. The loaded potato unfortunately fell short for me. I felt like the potato was dry and had been sitting out. I didn't think there was enough meat, and the meat itself was on the dryer side. It wasn't my favorite and I wouldn't get it again if we went back but I would definitely go back because some of the other food that was going to other patrons looked good
Aug 04, 2024 · Becky PlanchonPleasantly surprised finding this in Canton! Every dish on our plates was phenomenal. We had the brisket macaroni and brisket baked beans. And also the chicken quesadillas. But let me tell you…the smoked pecan cobbler!!! Who does that?! We will be back very soon as there are many other things we want to try. The lodging and event center look top not as well. There’s also live music on Saturday nights out on the patio. 10 out of 10 all the way
Sep 22, 2024 · Robbyn KaleaMy wife and I had our wedding back in October and the day went super smooth considering the weather we got. Misty was super helpful throughout the whole process and her entire staff was great! The day of the wedding, she made sure she did everything she could to make things as less stressful as possible for us. We had also rented out their Big Ranch house for the weekend for the wedding party and it was a perfect for them. Both their ranch house and cabins were super clean.
Jan 20, 2024 · yao changGreat location if you are coming to shop at Trade Days, very pretty and quiet and the food at the restaurant is was good and their was live music. For the price the cabins are very basic, WiFi didn’t work, we didn’t have a fire pit or a grille, comfortable bed but NO TV, no toiletries, not even an extra roll of toilet paper, it says the kitchen area has flatware and things like that but there was absolutely nothing and you have to take out your own trash when you checkout.
Nov 08, 2023 · LaurenThis place has so much potential to be great, but the customer service!!!! 0/10. We attended a wedding that was hosted there and for the entire guest list it was issue after issue. As for us personally, my mom and I rented a cabin and my brother and his fiancé got a wagon. Upon arrival (obviously past check in time) we got the key to both our rentals. Our cabin was fine, but my brothers wagon had been slept in and never cleaned. Before even walking in the door of the wagon there were 14 dead/half alive wasps right at the door step, all 3 beds slept in, towels everywhere, just obviously slept in and not cleaned. The very second we walked in the office to address this it was hostile. Long story short, they were not comfortable staying there any longer with all of the wasps, didn’t want to wait for it to be cleaned, etc, but they were originally told they would get no money back even though it was not clean upon checkin. It took a lot to have a manager called and then it was eventually refunded and it was worked out for them to stay in a cabin. But customer service was AWFUL. The host of the wedding was pretty much told they didn’t need their business, they get business anyways because of trade days, the rest of our party experienced issues with this as well, even as far as them calling a guest an “a-hole”. As stated before, this place has the potential to be really nice and we enjoyed our actual cabin but we would not recommend this establishment based on our experiences.
