Woy Bridge Campground is an absolute gem! I live in Pittsburgh and every now and again I like to spend the weekend in nature, away from the city life! And let me tell you, this campground did not disappoint! There is a beautiful tree lined roadway and a river alongside half of the campground. The spot I reserved was tucked away in a little nook surrounded by trees. It was very lovely. There are picnic tables and fire rings available for use, along with a very CLEAN and functional shower/bathroom combo. The price per night to camp is $25, which nowadays is priced very fairly.I absolutely had so much fun solo camping at Woy Bridge in Everett, PA. What an amazing small town with kind, friendly people😊
Nov 27, 2024 · Leigh AnnAbsolutely beautiful campground!! Last time I was in Breezewood, we stayed at a hotel that I would not suggest to anyone. This time around we decided to give camping a shot, and I'm so glad we did! Actually one of the few campgrounds I felt somewhat safe in, didn't feel like I had to watch my belongings like a hawk, and pet friendly! The other campers were extremely respectful and everyone followed the quiet hours. The owner swung by to make sure everything was alright during our visit. We're already talking about visiting again next time we're in the area.
Jun 11, 2023 · Jessica NozigliaWe're staying in the Oak Cabin this weekend. It was a last minute decision to come out here like 10 days ago. I'll say that it's definitely one of my best last minute plans. Clean, quiet, and inexpensive. My group and I will definitely be back in the future! The owners have stopped by twice and asked how everything was. They explained how everything worked and made sure we were enjoying the weekend.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Apr 10, 2021 · John BwellCraig, the owner was gracious and accommodating, especially as he let me stay for one night in one of his vacant cabins, while only charging me the tenting rate. The campground is not fancy, but it's in very picturesque woodland and the minimal accommodations are very clean, if not luxurious. A perfect location for lovers of nature camping who don't mind roughing it out (fear not, one can still take hot showers and access full-plumbing bathrooms). If you're looking for 5-star camping, it's probably not the place for you.
Sep 04, 2019 · rvltr studioReached out - via text! - on a Wednesday for weekend availability for a cabin, and was pleased to hear they were available.I arrived to the area in the night, and it was a little nerve-wracking on the gravel road in the dark, but not a "I need to turn around" situation. But arriving in the dark, I woke up to the beautiful view over the river! We stayed in the Laurel Cabin, last cabin on the lane, and it was goregous. Saw an eagle, osprey, some comorants, some kingfishers, and heard owls at night.Overall the campground was quiet. But was early in the season and still cold. So I'm sure it's busier later in the year.If you come to fish, bring a heavier lure - most of the fish are on the other, deeper, side of the river. It got down to about 30° on our nights, and the space heater in the cabin warmed the interior to about 50° - so pack extra layers & blankets in the event the weather calls for cold.Food in the area - we ate at Jean Bonnet, Kountry Kettle: I recommend them both!!Absolutely can't wait to stay again, bring the kayaks, and find a place to hike!
