Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community is located at 2430 Charles Rd, Pembroke Park, FL 33009, USA. This age-restricted community, designed for residents 55 and over, can be contacted at (954) 570-1545 or +1 954-570-1545. While primarily a manufactured home community, it may offer options for those seeking 'RV parks near me' within a 55+ environment, particularly for long-term stays. It's important to note that the provided customer reviews present a mixed perspective on the community.
One long-term resident, who has lived in the community since 1999, expresses significant dissatisfaction with the office management. The review details an interaction where the resident inquired about a tool to clean debris from a lake within the community. The response received from the office manager, according to the review, was unhelpful and dismissive. The resident's subsequent request for the owner's contact information to propose a lake cleaning arrangement in exchange for lot rent deduction was also reportedly met with a negative reaction, with the reviewer alleging they were chased out of the office. This review also raises serious concerns about the office manager's professionalism and behavior, including an unsubstantiated accusation of alcohol use. Furthermore, the reviewer mentions a hammock, valued at $400, being destroyed in their backyard, although the context of this incident is unclear.
In contrast, another reviewer expresses a positive experience, stating, "I love this place speed bumps and all." This resident describes a "friendly multicultural group of mostly very active over 55s" who have downsized and are very happy living in the community. They appreciate the quiet atmosphere while also noting the allowance of playing music outside without complaints. The reviewer also mentions that the community is not overly strict about landscaping and flower beds, which can be appealing to those who prefer a more relaxed approach to yard maintenance. The presence of many cats and small dogs is noted, with the positive observation that residents keep them under control and clean up after them. The community reportedly gets a "little crowded in winter" but not excessively so.
Considering the platform category 'RV parks near me,' Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community might appeal to seniors seeking an age-restricted environment for long-term RV stays. The positive review highlights a friendly and active community with a relatively relaxed atmosphere. The presence of amenities such as a lake (despite the negative management interaction regarding its upkeep) suggests potential natural features within the community. However, the reviews do not explicitly detail typical RV park amenities such as:
- Specific types and availability of RV hookups (electrical, water, sewer).
- Designated RV parking spaces or lot sizes.
- Comfort facilities like restrooms, showers, and laundry rooms.
- Waste disposal stations for RVs.
- Recreational amenities that might be of interest to RV travelers.
Given that this is primarily a manufactured home community, the availability and suitability of RV sites may be limited or geared towards long-term arrangements rather than short-term stays. Seniors looking for 'RV parks near me' within a 55+ setting should inquire specifically about the park's policies and provisions for RVs.
For those considering Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community for long-term residency in a manufactured home, the positive review paints a picture of a welcoming and active senior community. The multicultural aspect and the allowance of some outdoor activities, like playing music, could be attractive to many. The relaxed attitude towards landscaping might also appeal to those seeking a low-maintenance lifestyle. However, the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding the office management cannot be ignored and warrant careful consideration.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community, both those interested in RV stays and potential long-term residents should:
- Contact the management at (954) 570-1545 or +1 954-570-1545 to inquire about the availability and terms for RV stays (if any) and long-term manufactured home residency.
- Specifically ask about RV amenities, including hookups, site sizes, and any facilities available for RV guests.
- For long-term residency, inquire about the process of purchasing or leasing a manufactured home, lot fees, community rules and regulations, and the management's approach to resident relations.
- Given the conflicting reviews regarding management, it might be beneficial to try and speak with current residents (if possible) to get a broader perspective on the community's atmosphere and management.
- Inquire about any community amenities mentioned in the positive review, such as the lake, and any other recreational facilities or social activities available to residents.
- Clarify the rules regarding pets, as both the allowance and the responsible behavior of pet owners are mentioned in the positive review.
Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community is located in Pembroke Park, Florida. This town is situated in Broward County, south of Fort Lauderdale and north of Miami. Its location may offer proximity to various amenities, services, and attractions in the broader South Florida region. However, the provided information does not detail the immediate surroundings of the community or its accessibility to specific points of interest.
In conclusion, Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community offers an age-restricted (55+) environment with a seemingly friendly and active resident base, as highlighted in one review. The community appears to have a relaxed atmosphere regarding landscaping and allows for some outdoor activities. However, a significant concern is raised in another review regarding the professionalism and behavior of the office management. For seniors seeking 'RV parks near me' or considering long-term residency in a manufactured home within a 55+ community, Bamboo presents a mixed picture. Thorough due diligence, including direct contact with the management and, if possible, current residents, is crucial to assess whether this community aligns with individual needs and expectations. The contrasting experiences shared in the reviews underscore the importance of seeking further information before making a decision.

Bamboo 55+ Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I have been living here since 1999. Why is this woman an office manager?Asked her if she had a cleaning tool so I can remove the debris from the lake? Her answer was yes "I have a swimming pool". I said great can I use it to clean the lake & than I asked may I have the phone number of the owner. To see if I keep the lake clean if they can deduct it from my lot rent. Which by the way went up twice since the pandemic! Her answer was no & she chased me out of the office like a mad woman. Again I asked why is this alcoholic is the office manager?Today instead of asking me to move my hammock (which costed 400.00) is destroyed in my backyard!
May 11, 2021 · Rose PalinkasI love this place speed bumps and all. Friendly multicultural group of mostly very active over 55s. We downsized and have never been happier. Quiet but still can play music outside and not get complaints. Not overly picky about landscaping and flower beds. Lots of cats and small dogs but people keep them under control and pick up after them. Gets a little crowded in winter but not too bad.
Jan 02, 2020 · Karin JosephIt's a nice trailer park and I understand the speed bumps... But seriously it's kinda excessive. Like you over added too many speed bumps. If you were in a 2020 Corvette C8 even with their gps speed bump system. You'll pray that your suspension and the under carriage made it through their drive way without any damaging ramifications.
Jul 25, 2019 · Ariel MarquezClassical french canadian grandpas trailer park. Really far away from the beach too and I think the most annoying thing is that there is literally 20 speed bump on each alley. This place really missed out on the opportunity of making something cozy and pleasant. The park itself could have been really better cause there is potential. Also, gigantic lizards who dive in the water, the only thing I enjoyed.
Jun 16, 2018 · QuentinHorrible place. Management and owner are both ethically and morally questionable. Be careful and think twice before your loved one's buy a place here. You have been warned. Scamming the elderly is despicable.
