Green Acres Mobile Home Village Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hallandale Beach, Florida area, Green Acres Mobile Home Village, located at 3100 Hallandale Beach Blvd, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009, USA, presents a mobile home park with a mix of positive and concerning feedback from its residents. You can contact them at (954) 983-6079 or +1 954-983-6079 for inquiries about residency options and community details. Based on the available reviews, this introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the community's environment, services, and potential features, while also addressing some of the issues raised by residents.
One reviewer who stayed at Green Acres Mobile Home Village for a few months in 2021, despite not being a 55+ senior, described a "very nice, chill campground vibe" during their stay in a camping van. This suggests that the park may have a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, at least in certain areas or during specific times. The reviewer also noted that they often had the pool to themselves, indicating that the pool might not always be crowded and could be a pleasant amenity for residents and guests.
The location of Green Acres Mobile Home Village is highlighted as a significant advantage. The park is described as being "close to the beach, stores and everything," indicating convenient access to local amenities, shopping, and recreational opportunities, particularly the beach, which is a major draw for the Hallandale Beach area. This accessibility can greatly enhance the quality of life for residents, making it easy to run errands and enjoy leisure activities.
However, this reviewer also mentioned that the "facilities could've been cleaner" during their stay, although they conceded that they "could've been worse too." This suggests a potential inconsistency in the maintenance and cleanliness of the park's facilities, which is an important factor for prospective residents to consider.
Another, more long-term perspective comes from a reviewer whose parents lived in Green Acres Mobile Home Village for 25 years. This long history provides a broader context and reveals a perceived decline in the park's quality over time. The reviewer mentions that the park was previously managed by a family who no longer resides there, and they express that "everything went downhill" after their departure. This suggests that the change in management may have had a negative impact on the park's upkeep and overall quality.
Despite this perceived decline, the long-term resident still acknowledges that it is "still a very nice place," indicating that there are enduring positive aspects to the community. However, they also point out several ongoing issues. One significant concern is the apparent lack of strict adherence to the advertised "55 and up" age restriction. The reviewer states that "they are many children around and a lot of youngsters," which may not be ideal for seniors seeking a quiet, age-restricted community.
A particularly serious concern raised by the long-term resident is the issue of flooding. They mention that the area "gets flooded so many times throughout the year" and that the park has "not repaired the pump or they just don't care." This suggests a potentially significant infrastructure problem that could impact residents' safety and property, especially during heavy rain events. The reviewer expresses doubt that this is a budget issue but is unsure of the current administration's priorities.
Despite these concerns, the long-term resident does offer a positive note about a staff member named Sandy, describing her as "super nice and does what she can." This suggests that while there may be systemic issues, there are also caring individuals within the park's staff who are trying to assist residents.
Considering these reviews in the context of searching for "RV parks near me," Green Acres Mobile Home Village presents a complex picture. The park offers a potentially chill atmosphere, a pool, and a convenient location close to the beach and other amenities. However, prospective residents should also be aware of potential issues with the cleanliness of facilities, the apparent lack of strict enforcement of age restrictions, and, most importantly, the significant concerns regarding flooding and the maintenance of necessary infrastructure like pumps.
For individuals considering Green Acres Mobile Home Village for long-term RV living, it is crucial to inquire specifically about the park's policies on RVs, the availability of hookups, the size of the lots, and the duration of stays allowed. Additionally, given the concerns about flooding, it would be prudent to ask the management about flood history in the park, any measures in place to mitigate flooding, and the operational status of any drainage systems or pumps.
Prospective residents should also inquire about the enforcement of age restrictions if they are specifically seeking a 55+ community. Understanding the current demographics of the park will help determine if it aligns with their preferences.
Finally, it would be beneficial to ask about the current management's responsiveness to maintenance issues and their plans for addressing concerns such as the cleanliness of facilities and the flooding problems. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide further insights into the day-to-day living experience at Green Acres Mobile Home Village.
In conclusion, for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Hallandale Beach, Florida, Green Acres Mobile Home Village at 3100 Hallandale Beach Blvd offers a community with a potentially relaxed atmosphere and a convenient location. However, it is essential to be aware of reported issues regarding the cleanliness of facilities, the presence of younger residents despite the advertised age restriction, and significant concerns about flooding and infrastructure maintenance. Contacting the park directly at (954) 983-6079 or +1 954-983-6079 to seek clarification on these issues and to inquire about the suitability for RV living is strongly recommended before making a decision.

They let me stay in the park for a few months back in 2021 even though I'm not a 55+ senior, because it was just me in a camping van. It had a very nice, chill campground vibe when I was there. I usually had the pool to myself. The park is close to the beach, stores and everything. Facilities could've been cleaner when I was there but they could've been worse too.
Jan 09, 2025 · FauxindigoMy parents live there for 25 years. It was managed by a family that no longer lives there, what a shame they left and everything went downhill. Even though they seem like they are on it still a lot of things that they are not right, for a place that advertised 55 and up they are many children around and a lot of youngsters. still a very nice place I wish my parents can be there again but they're way too old to be by themselves in an area that gets flooded so many times throughout the year, they have not repaired the pump or they just don't care, I don't believe is a budget thing but idk much of the current administration. Sandy is super nice and does what she can.

Feb 20, 2025 · Yunier RodriguezVery nice place. I have lived here now for two and a half years and really have enjoyed it, however I received notification that as of this month the rent for my RV site will increase from $650 a month to $900. I was told when I moved here that I could expect a $50 a year increase which is what they have done for the last 2 years. I am 75 years old and still works full-time but I have not had a $250 a month increase in my income over the past two and a half years.
