Belmont Court MHC Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Alger, Ohio vicinity, Belmont Court MHC, located at 207 E Belmont St, Alger, OH 45812, USA, presents itself as a potential option. While the name suggests a mobile home community (MHC), such parks sometimes accommodate recreational vehicles as well. To provide a detailed introduction for local users, we will consider the available information, including the park's location and the limited customer feedback found online.
Environment and Location:
Alger is a village in Hardin County, Ohio, indicating that Belmont Court MHC is situated in a more rural setting. The review mentioning "private, and peaceful surroundings and in the country" supports this, suggesting that the park offers a quieter environment away from the bustle of larger towns or cities. This could be a significant draw for those seeking a tranquil RV park experience or a peaceful residential setting for their mobile home. The location on East Belmont Street in Alger likely provides access to the basic amenities and services available within the village.
Services and Amenities (Based on General Expectations and Limited Reviews):
Given that Belmont Court MHC appears to be primarily a mobile home park, the services and amenities would typically cater to long-term residents. However, if RVs are also accommodated, some of these might be relevant to short-term stays as well. Common services and amenities found in such parks often include:
- Utility Hookups: Mobile home parks generally provide connections for electricity, water, and sewer. One review explicitly states that residents pay their water bills directly to the Village of Alger, indicating that water is likely not billed through the park itself. For RVs, the availability and nature of these hookups (e.g., amperage of electrical connections) would need to be confirmed.
- Waste Management: The second review mentions a sudden charge for trash collection, implying that this is a service provided, although the billing and communication regarding it seem to be a point of concern for at least one resident.
- Road Maintenance: Basic maintenance of the roads within the park is generally expected for accessibility.
It is important to note that specific amenities often associated with dedicated RV parks, such as laundry facilities, communal restrooms and showers, recreational areas (playgrounds, clubhouses), or dedicated RV dump stations, are not mentioned in the available information. Potential RV visitors should inquire about the availability of such amenities if they are essential.
Features and Community (Considering Limited Reviews):
One review, seemingly from the park management or a representative ("Reply provided on behalf of Belmont MHP"), describes the park as "great," "private," and offering "peaceful surroundings" in a "country" setting. This suggests that the park aims to provide a quiet and secluded living environment. The emphasis on privacy and peacefulness could be attractive to those seeking a more laid-back atmosphere.
However, the second review presents a contrasting perspective, highlighting potential issues with billing transparency and reimbursement. The resident mentions receiving a sudden $175 charge for trash and not being reimbursed for a previous water bill they had to pay for previous tenants, despite assurances from someone named Marty. This raises concerns about communication, billing practices, and the handling of financial matters by the management.
The first review also addresses a comment by someone named Julia Wallace, stating that this person is not an authorized tenant and refuting a claim about water billing. This suggests that there might be some discrepancies or misunderstandings in online reviews, and it's important to consider all perspectives cautiously.
Given the limited and somewhat conflicting feedback, it is challenging to form a comprehensive picture of the community aspect at Belmont Court MHC. The management's description suggests a positive environment, while the resident's experience indicates potential issues with administrative processes.
Promotional Information (Objective Assessment):
Based on the available information, any promotional description of Belmont Court MHC should objectively present both the potential benefits and the reported concerns. The park could be promoted for its peaceful, country setting and potentially private atmosphere, as highlighted by the management's response. For those seeking "RV parks near me" who value tranquility, this could be appealing.
However, potential residents or RV visitors should also be aware of the billing issues and lack of reimbursement reported by one reviewer. Transparency in fees and billing processes is crucial for a positive experience in any residential or short-term stay environment. The discrepancy between the management's positive description and the resident's negative experience underscores the importance of thorough investigation by prospective individuals.
Recommendations for Local Users:
For local users considering Belmont Court MHC as one of the "RV parks near me" or as a potential mobile home residence, it is strongly recommended to:
- Contact the park management directly: Inquire about the availability of RV sites, the types of utility hookups offered for RVs, the rates for short-term and long-term stays, and any specific amenities available to RVers.
- Clarify billing procedures: Specifically ask about how utilities (especially water and trash) are billed and what the associated costs are. Understand the process for any potential reimbursements or charges.
- Visit the property: If possible, arrange a visit to assess the environment and the condition of the park. For RVers, inspect the sites to ensure they meet your needs.
- Ask about park rules and regulations: Understand the community guidelines, pet policies, and any other rules that might affect your stay or residency.
- Seek further information or reviews: Look for additional reviews or information from other sources to get a broader understanding of the experiences of people who have stayed or lived at Belmont Court MHC.
In conclusion, Belmont Court MHC in Alger, OH, offers a potentially peaceful and country-like setting that might appeal to those searching for "RV parks near me" or a quiet mobile home community. However, the limited customer feedback reveals contrasting experiences, with management highlighting the positive aspects and a resident reporting concerns about billing and reimbursements. Local users are advised to conduct thorough due diligence and direct communication with the park management to obtain accurate and comprehensive information before making a decision.

Belmont Court MHC Reviews
To the reader of the various Google Reviews. No idea who Julia Wallace is. Not an authorized tenant under any lease of the Belmont Community. All residents in the community have always been responsible for their own utilities including water that is paid directly to the Village of Alger, not to the park. Great park. Private, and peaceful surroundings and in the country. Check it out! Reply provided on behalf of Belmont MHP

Oct 17, 2023 · Julia WallacePark just sold! My lot rent was 185 a month, included water and trash. New owners raised it to 315 a month and includes nothing!
