Bickley RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Seminole, Florida area, Bickley RV Park, located at 5640 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772, USA, presents a complex picture based on recent customer reviews. Potential visitors should carefully consider both the positive and negative feedback to determine if this park meets their needs. Bickley RV Park can be contacted at (727) 392-3807 or +1 727-392-3807 for inquiries.
The environment of Bickley RV Park, situated in Seminole, benefits from the generally pleasant climate of the Florida Gulf Coast. One reviewer described the grounds as "beautiful," suggesting that the park may feature well-maintained landscaping and an attractive overall appearance. This could contribute to a pleasant outdoor experience for guests. However, specific details about the park's natural surroundings, such as proximity to natural attractions or the presence of shade trees, are not provided. The mention of a "large clubhouse" indicates a potential common area for social gatherings and activities, enhancing the community aspect of the park.
In terms of services and features expected from an "RV park near me," Bickley RV Park appears to offer essential amenities. Each site is noted to have a "concrete pad," which is a desirable feature for stability and cleanliness. The presence of a "large clubhouse with restrooms" suggests the availability of communal facilities. The original positive review mentioned "friendly people" and a positive experience with both staff and other residents, indicating a potentially welcoming community atmosphere. However, the subsequent edit from the same reviewer paints a drastically different picture, alleging serious misconduct by the managers, including the federal crime of throwing away mail, hiding this from residents, and displaying racist and derogatory behavior towards an employee. These are extremely serious accusations that potential visitors should be aware of. The second review also mentioned "nice people running the office," which contrasts sharply with the later accusations against the managers.
A significant feature of Bickley RV Park, as highlighted in one review, is the size of the individual lots. The reviewer found the lots to be small, providing just enough room for their camper and vehicle with "not much else." This lack of space was a drawback for them, as they were accustomed to larger sites. However, they acknowledged that this was a personal preference and not a reflection on the park's quality. The review also noted that while some larger sites were available, they were "much more expensive." This suggests that Bickley RV Park offers a range of site sizes at varying price points, which could cater to different needs and budgets. Potential guests should inquire about the dimensions and cost of available sites to ensure they can comfortably accommodate their RV and any additional vehicles or outdoor equipment.
Promotional information is limited and conflicting based on the reviews. The original positive feedback could have been used to promote Bickley RV Park as a friendly place with a welcoming community. The mention of "beautiful grounds" and a "large clubhouse" could also be highlighted to attract visitors seeking aesthetically pleasing and amenity-rich campgrounds. However, the serious allegations in the edited review severely undermine any potential positive promotion. The accusations of illegal activity (mail theft) and discriminatory behavior are significant red flags that would likely deter many potential visitors. Therefore, any objective introduction must acknowledge these serious concerns alongside any positive aspects mentioned.
The stark contrast between the initial positive review and the subsequent negative edit from the same user is particularly noteworthy. This suggests a significant change in the management or the reviewer's experience at the park. The federal crime alleged (mail theft) is a matter of serious legal concern. The accusations of racism and derogatory behavior towards an employee also point to a potentially toxic management environment. While the second reviewer found the office staff to be "very nice," this does not address the later allegations against the managers. Potential visitors need to weigh these conflicting reports carefully.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Seminole, FL, Bickley RV Park presents a location with potentially attractive physical attributes, such as concrete pads and a clubhouse, and at least one positive account of friendly people. However, the serious allegations of illegal and discriminatory behavior by the management cannot be ignored. The limited size of some RV lots is also a factor to consider for those who prefer more space. Prospective guests are strongly advised to contact Bickley RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about the current management situation, the size and availability of RV sites, and any other concerns they may have based on these reviews. It would also be prudent to seek more recent reviews from other sources to get a broader perspective on the current state of the park.
In conclusion, Bickley RV Park in Seminole, FL, offers a campground with potentially beautiful grounds and amenities like a clubhouse and concrete pads. While one initial review praised the friendly atmosphere, a subsequent edit from the same reviewer made serious allegations of illegal and discriminatory actions by the managers. Another reviewer noted the small size of some RV lots. Therefore, individuals considering Bickley RV Park as one of their "RV parks near me" should proceed with caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek current information from the park management and potentially other recent visitors to make an informed decision. The conflicting nature of the reviews necessitates a careful and critical evaluation of this RV park.

Bickley RV Park Reviews
EDIT - The managers were throwing away mail which is a federal crime. They were also hiding this from the residents and were racist and derogatory toward an employee that was only ever wonderful. I originally gave this place five stars. Now it’s maybe a 1.ORIGINAL: The place was great, friendly people, and never had a problem with the staff or other residents. Happy to come back next season and talk to the very nice staff again.
Dec 27, 2024 · Chase BlazerThis was a nice campground, beautiful grounds, and large clubhouse with restrooms. The only drawback for me was the size of the lots. There was room for our camper and vehicle and not much else. When we are used to having a lot of room, it just seems too confining. Of course, this is just a personal opinion and is no reflection on the quality of the campgrounds. Each site did have a concrete pad, which was nice. There were some larger sites, but they were much more expensive. The people running the office were very nice.
Mar 25, 2024 · Timothy CurrinNice people, nice guests, full water, sewer and 30 amp...that was all good. Decent size space for my 33 footer. What wasn't so great was the noise that kept us up all night for two days. They put us directly behind McDonald's lol so I got to hear McDonald's empty their garbage at 4:30 every morning and I got to hear all the cars screaming down the boulevard all hours of the night and morning. It would have been nice if they gave me a heads up that my space was going to be directly behind McDonald's because I probably would have declined the stay. That wasn't fair at all.
