Unlike many RV parks in the region, Big Rock RV Park boasts ample shade. This is a significant advantage, especially during the hot Texas summers, offering a much-needed respite from the sun and creating a more enjoyable outdoor living space for RVers. The presence of mature trees not only provides cooling shade but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the park, creating a more pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
In terms of services, Big Rock RV Park ensures a comfortable and practical stay for its guests. While it's noted that there is no bathhouse on the premises, the park does offer essential amenities such as full hookups for your RV. Furthermore, the availability of very nice washers and dryers on-site is a significant convenience, particularly for those on longer trips or working in the area, eliminating the need to seek out external laundromats.
The features of Big Rock RV Park contribute to its positive reputation. Guests have highlighted the fact that the RV spots are not too close to each other, providing a sense of privacy and space. This layout enhances the feeling of tranquility and allows residents to relax without feeling cramped. The quiet atmosphere further contributes to a relaxing experience, making it an ideal location to unwind after a day of travel or work.
However, what truly sets Big Rock RV Park apart, according to numerous reviews, is the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Alvaro. Knowing that there is a friendly and helpful owner on-site can provide peace of mind and make guests feel more welcome and cared for.
For those who are in the area for work, particularly on the wind farms or oil fields, Big Rock RV Park is highly recommended as the place to stay. Big Rock RV Park Reviews
We travel for work so we only got to stay here for 1 week.. but I really wish we could've stayed here longer!! Such a nice campground with SHADE which is so hard to find around here. Very nice washers and dryer, really pretty little place. By far the best place we have found anywhere from San Angelo to Big Spring. But the best part of all is the owner!! He's SO NICE and such a joy to deal with. If you're working on the wind farm or oil fields in the area and are looking for a place to stay.. this is the one!
Aug 28, 2021 · Olivia BradshawWe only stayed one night, but Alvaro is the nicest, most hospitable host we have met. We drove from Alaska to central Texas and have stayed in a lot of RV parks along the way. Highly recommend this RV park. No bath house, but laundry facilities and full hook ups. Quiet RVs not too close to each other. Would definitely stay here again.
Nov 15, 2021 · Crystal IgnacioBig Rock is one of the nicest small well maintained RV parks we have stayed in so far. Almost all the RV spots are under the shade of beautiful trees and are relatively private and peaceful. Not a lot of perks, but who needs a bathhouse when you have full hookups! Big Rock is highly recommended, and the owner is always available, accommodating, and ready to assist you. We definitely will return.
Sep 05, 2019 · Maria VelasquezBest RV park in town. Shaded spots. Grassy areas for kids/pets. Clean laundry area. Owner/manager very nice and attentive. Wifi and cable included. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.
Apr 07, 2021 · Haley L.Great little RV park. Super clean, actually has little yards for kids/dogs to play, laundry facilities are clean, trees provide shade, and the owner/manager is super friendly and makes sure you’re taken care of. Nicest park in town.
