We loved glamping here! The tent was so clean . The owners are so nice. The bathroom and outdoor kitchen were great . I don't live too far from here but had fun exploring Gorges state park and Panther valley and had two great hikes. We used wood stove but next time I'll bring a portable heater to plug in as it still got to 52 first night and 57 second. I did sleep through night but was chilly in the morning . Thanks for a great time ! Hope to be back !

There were 17 of us and we all agree on the 10.5 rating. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again for everything! Oh and that dog never moves! Lol

Mar 16, 2025 · Sarah PikeWe had a reservation near Asheville for camping a couple of weeks after Hurricane Helene. Obviously, that reservation had to be cancelled due to the destruction of the hurricane. We were so very happy to have been able to secure the only spot available for our dates at Blue Ridge Falls. This campground is a little ways south of Asheville and didnt suffer much damage. The owners were very nice to welcome us at such a late notice. Before arriving we had no idea that we were headed for the best camping experience we have ever had. This campground is absolutely beautiful. We camped on site 24, which is a pull through and we loved that spot. We had plenty of room for our 30ft TT and our Ford F150 crew cab long bed. The owners are absolutely amazing people. They are the most hands on and customer serving owners I have ever met. I truly mean that. They are always out doing some sort of work in the campground and always want to know what they can do for the people camping at their place. My husband and I felt right at home from the moment we arrived. These owners also made us feel like family. We love them and are so thankful for their kind and serving spirit. Every single afternoon around 5pm the owners ring a dinner bell and any campers who would like congregate together at a beautiful covered patio the owners have built. This place is beautiful. Its an open air area with a lovely wooden ceiling, bar area, picnic tables, and patio chairs. It has a huge outdoor fireplace and a tv. We really enjoyed getting to know so many of the other campers that week. We met many incredible families. The WiFi and cable worked very well. They do have a bathhouse on site. They have dumpsters for your garbage. Our Verizon service worked great. They have a creek that is so beautiful and there are many campsites on the creek. Lake Toxaway is a very small town, which we love. It allowed us to really leave the busy world behind and have a very relaxing time. We did eat out a couple of times; although on this camping trip my hubby chose to cook most of our meals over the campfire. Even though youre away from the world, there are a few larger towns nearby for shopping and there are also a few restaurants nearby. I 100% recommend this campground to anyone who desires a relaxing vacation and loves to be treated well. We cannot wait to return. You will absolutely love the owners and their sweet family.
