By Way Mobile Home Park Introduce
This introduction pertains to By Way Mobile Home Park, located at 3335 Barr St, Columbus, OH 43224, USA. While the platform category is "rv parks near me," the subject of this introduction is a mobile home park. By Way Mobile Home Park can be contacted at (614) 669-2460 or their mobile number +1 614-669-2460. It is important to note that the following description is based entirely on the provided customer reviews, which raise serious concerns about the living conditions and management of the park.
Environment and Property Conditions:
One reviewer described purchasing a home at By Way Mobile Home Park and characterized it as a "moneypit/lemon." They specifically mentioned a "package deal" that includes carpenter ants. This paints a picture of properties within the park potentially having significant pest issues. The same reviewer also alluded to the poor condition of the homes, using phrases like "nightmare of that dream you had" and detailing issues such as "wall paint on ceramic tubs never stays long," suggesting substandard or deteriorating housing conditions. The reviewer sarcastically advised potential first-time buyers with a down payment to consider purchasing such a property, implying a lack of value for the investment.
Another resident, Lacie Armstrong from lot 2772, shared a detailed and distressing account of her experience. Upon moving in during February 2017 after paying a holding fee and a move-in cost, she reported having no heat and constant electric problems. Furthermore, she stated that there was no water during all winters and, specifically, no electricity in her rent-to-own home from December 2017 to April 2018. During this time, she claimed to have consistently paid her rent and repeatedly asked for help with these essential utilities. Her account also mentions mold in the walls and an infestation of bugs within her home.
Lacie Armstrong further stated that she was being written up for "bogus things," such as the condition of her grass, which she described as very short with sparse growth. She mentioned that her parents visit weekly to check on things. Her review conveys a sense of frustration and helplessness, as she claims to have invested all her money into the property and now feels that the management is unfairly targeting her with these write-ups.
These reviews collectively suggest significant issues with the condition of some properties within By Way Mobile Home Park, including pest infestations, structural or cosmetic problems, and failures in essential utilities like heat, electricity, and water. They also indicate potential concerns regarding the responsiveness of management to these issues and the fairness of park rules enforcement.
Services and Management Responsiveness:
Based on Lacie Armstrong's review, the responsiveness of management to serious issues appears to be a significant concern. Her account of enduring months without essential utilities while continuously paying rent and requesting assistance paints a picture of inadequate support for residents facing critical living problems. The subsequent write-ups for minor issues like grass length, while significant problems within her home allegedly went unaddressed, further suggest a disconnect in priorities and a potentially adversarial relationship between the resident and the management.
The first reviewer's sarcastic tone about buying a "moneypit/lemon" also implies a lack of support or transparency regarding the condition of homes being sold within the park.
The available reviews do not provide information about standard mobile home park services such as grounds maintenance (beyond the negative comments about potholes in another park, which may or may not be relevant here), community amenities, or management's general approach to maintaining a positive living environment. However, the specific issues raised strongly suggest potential shortcomings in the overall management and provision of habitable living conditions for some residents.
Features of Homes and the Park:
The reviews offer limited insight into the features of the homes or the park itself. We know that at least some homes are available on a rent-to-own basis. The price range of $14,000 to $20,000 was mentioned in the context of a problematic purchase. Beyond this, there is no information about lot sizes, the age or condition of other homes, or any communal facilities within the park.
The reference to carpenter ants as a "package deal" suggests that this may be a recurring issue in some of the properties. The mention of wall paint peeling from ceramic tubs indicates potential issues with the quality or maintenance of bathroom fixtures.
Promotional Information (Based on Available Data):
Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the recent customer reviews, it would be inappropriate to generate standard promotional content. Instead, it is crucial to objectively present the concerns raised by current residents.
Potential buyers or renters considering By Way Mobile Home Park should be aware of the serious issues reported by current residents, including potential problems with the condition of homes (such as pest infestations and structural issues), failures in essential utilities (heat, electricity, water), and concerns about the responsiveness and fairness of the management. The experiences shared suggest that some residents have faced significant challenges related to the habitability of their homes and the support received from the park management.
If you are considering By Way Mobile Home Park, it is strongly recommended that you conduct thorough due diligence. This should include visiting the park, inspecting any potential property in detail, speaking with current residents to gain a broader understanding of their experiences, and seeking clear and comprehensive information from the management regarding the condition of properties, maintenance procedures, and resident rights and responsibilities.
In conclusion, the recent feedback regarding By Way Mobile Home Park in Columbus, OH, raises significant concerns about the living conditions and management practices. Potential residents should carefully consider these issues and conduct thorough research before making any decisions regarding this community.

Aug 11, 2018 · Lacie ArmstrongThis whole rating system is a freaking lie. I lived with an old friend here and management CONSTANTLY raised issue with us and other tenants. We did nothing wrong, got rent paid on time until THEY simply stopped cashing the rent check. They then took us to court and evicted us for "failure to pay" when it was THEIR DAMNED FAULT! They changed up park rules just to catch violations THEY CREATED! In short, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS HELLHOLE!
