Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in the Newburgh, New York area? Candlestick Mobile Home Park, located at 165 Lattintown Rd Lot 50, Newburgh, NY 12550, USA, might be a community to consider. You can reach them at (845) 561-2201 or +1 845-561-2201 for inquiries.
When looking for an RV park or a mobile home community, several factors typically come into play: the environment, available services, unique features, and any ongoing promotions. Based on the limited information available online, providing a comprehensive and objectively positive introduction is challenging. However, we can attempt to outline potential aspects one might consider while also acknowledging the significant concerns raised in customer reviews.
Potential Environment and Location:
Candlestick Mobile Home Park is situated in Newburgh, New York. The location offers proximity to the amenities and services of the town and the surrounding region. Newburgh itself has a rich history and offers various local attractions, shopping centers, and essential services. Residents might appreciate the accessibility to nearby towns and cities in the Hudson Valley region. The address suggests a specific lot within a larger park setting, indicating a structured community environment.
Potential Services and Amenities:
While specific services and amenities offered by Candlestick Mobile Home Park are not detailed in the provided information, typical mobile home parks often provide essential infrastructure such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for residents. Some parks may also offer additional amenities like:
- Road maintenance within the park.
- Waste management services.
- Common areas or green spaces.
- Potentially, recreational facilities like playgrounds or community centers, although this is not confirmed for Candlestick.
- On-site management, although some reviews suggest the manager may not reside on the premises.
It is crucial to directly contact the park management to inquire about the specific services included with lot rentals and any additional amenities available to residents.
Potential Features and Community Aspects:
Living in a mobile home park can offer a sense of community. Residents often own their homes but lease the land, which can sometimes lead to a more affordable housing option compared to traditional homeownership. Depending on the park's regulations, there might be opportunities for residents to personalize their living spaces within the guidelines set by the park management. The presence of multiple homes within the park suggests a degree of social interaction and community among residents.
However, it is essential to consider the information provided in the customer reviews, which paint a concerning picture of the community environment and management practices at Candlestick Mobile Home Park.
Important Considerations Based on Customer Reviews:
Several critical issues have been raised by individuals who appear to be residents or former residents of Candlestick Mobile Home Park. These concerns should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating moving into this community:
- Rent Increases: Multiple reviews mention significant and potentially unlawful annual rent increases, with one reviewer stating that increases exceed the legal limit and include additional charges related to property taxes.
- Water Quality and Pressure: A severe concern is raised regarding undrinkable water and a lack of water pressure within the park. This is a fundamental issue that can significantly impact residents' quality of life.
- Rule Enforcement and Management: There are allegations of inconsistent rule enforcement, with certain individuals, particularly a former manager, seemingly exempt from park regulations. Complaints include unpermitted vehicles, parking violations, excessive sheds, and unkempt properties. The reviews also suggest that the off-site management is unresponsive and primarily focused on fining residents.
- New Home Inventory and Installation: Concerns are raised about new homes sitting in an open field for an extended period, with at least one appearing to have sustained damage. There are also allegations of improper installation of new homes, leading to legal disputes.
- Neighbor Disputes and Harassment: One detailed review describes ongoing harassment from a neighbor, including noise violations, property line encroachments, and disregard for an order of protection. The lack of on-site management is cited as a contributing factor to the unresolved nature of these issues.
- Road Conditions: One reviewer mentions the deteriorating condition of the roads within the park.
- Misleading Reviews: There is a claim that some online reviews do not pertain to Candlestick Park, suggesting potential inaccuracies in the overall online feedback landscape.
Promotional Information:
Based on the provided information and the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback, there is no positive promotional information available to share objectively. The reviews strongly suggest significant challenges within the park that prospective residents should be aware of.
Conclusion:
Candlestick Mobile Home Park is located in Newburgh, NY, and offers a community living environment. However, it is imperative for potential residents to be aware of the serious concerns raised in online reviews. These concerns include allegations of excessive rent increases, undrinkable water, inconsistent rule enforcement, unresponsive management, and neighbor harassment. While the park may offer the basic infrastructure of a mobile home community, the negative feedback regarding its management and living conditions warrants thorough investigation and careful consideration before making any decisions. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the park management directly to address these concerns and, if possible, speak with current residents to gain a balanced perspective before committing to living in Candlestick Mobile Home Park.

Candlestick Reviews
Your rent is raised every year above the legal limit. They are raising the rent the maximum % plus showing owners the amount of property tax that they pay and adding aprox 2.5% more. Our home was the newest & last home installed here. We have had multiple issues & have a case against multiple people, owner...through HUD. The water is not drinkable and there is NO WATER PRESSURE!The rules are very lengthy & don't apply to a select few & the manager does not live on site & only cares about fining people for the investment Company that doesn't allow you to speak to anyone in the company except the park manager. 6 new homes have been sitting in an open field for approximately 18 months. Buyers BEWARE of the manufacturer and the company that owns the park.If you want to know why you shouldn't move here go to #70. The rules of the park do not apply to the ex manager. You are not allowed to have oversize, un registered vehicles, park on the street or lawn...He has a 6 wheel diesel box truck that he uses to drive around the park 7 days a week, day and night!! Parks all over and works in the park as an Unlicensed contractor doing odd jobs and trying know Everyone's business! If it's not the diesel truck it's his loud green truck! ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! You are only aloud 1 shed for fire code violations, he has 3 and a fenced in area that backs up to the woods with JUNK!!! You are supposed to keep your property clean, yet the side of his house has JUNK and always a ugly grey tarp covering more JUNK!! You are supposed to complete construction projects in 30 days. He has been doing work on his tiny front lawn for years, his front porch and back yard, 3, THREE large home heating oil containers(1 turned on its side...) and doesn't have a cover over his trailer hitch that's required for all. For 6 months he had a ugly dirty un registered truck stuffed with junk parked on his front lawn and then moved it to the side of his house. This person thinks they are special because they were the manager and thought they were the private police, judge and jury here. It's not right when 1 person ignores the rules at the expense of the entire park. They finally moved the so called "New" homes in to lots that were sitting out in and open field for almost 2 years! In the process management was unprofessional! The one that is lime green was damaged on 1 of the corners, possibly hit by a vehicle. Our new home was not installed properly and we are currently in a law suit through HUD. Management doesn't care about the people here, only trying to FINE people and RAISE the RENT during the pandemic. We have an easement next to our house for the rude neighbors driveway and his vehicle's are closer to our home than the state allows(part of lawsuit)and instead of pulling his vehicle in engine 1rst, he backs in so his engine is a couple feet from our bedroom window and he is our alarm clock going on 4 years! He doesn't pull his vehicle's in on purpose & parks on our lot EVERY DAY & since the manager doesn't live here he does whatever he wants whenever 24/7 365 & gets away with it!!!Because of his constant harrassment the police asked him to not work at his home before 11, but he ignores everyone! Some people here are okay with him because he helps others, but at the expense of his neighbor and anyone that gets in his way. My wife and I have an order of protection, but he ignores that and continues to harass us with the never ending projects of incompletion and working full time in the park as an Unlicensed, no commercial plate's driving around the park with a 6 wheeled diesel box truck that is prohibited for 2 years now. Most of the reviews on here do NOT pertain to Candlestick Park trailer park!Anthony Silverance's comments are about an earlier post. I was pressured into taking it down, but since the manager plays favorites I decided that people need to know the facts and truth before moving into a DEAD END lot rental that will always go UP, with no real management and roads falling apart from people that break the rules every day. GREED & selfishness here.
