Went in August with 3 adults 2 children.2 under 2 Children.Only ended up staying 1 hour and left.3 weeks before our date our kids got pneumonia. Both kids are two under two.We asked to cancel or change the date. We were told a manger would call us back. 1 week before we called again and they couldn't give us an answer because the manger needed to make the call.We Payed attention to our phone and never missed a call.We showed up on our date. The kids were doing good enough. It's was 50/50 but because we never got an answer we didn't want to loose 250$We drove a suburban with an open trailer for all our camping stuff.Never had a problem in May when we went earlier in the year. At that time even a staff member said "nice trailer, nice set up"I have camped all my life with a truck and an open trailer to haul all the needed camping stuff and never had one campsite say anything. This places bathrooms are terrible. Most of their activities were closed. The playground is in the middle of nowhere.Zero staff members patrolling the grounds for loud music and other many disturbances. As soon as we walked in to grab our bathroom key and car tag it was the end of world to them that we had most of our camping stuff in an open trailer. Before I go anywhere, I am sure to read all the rules and I did. They explained that the trailer can't be left on the campsite That we should be able to fit all of our stuff in the back of the suburban. I explained how it wasn't listed on their website for their rules and that last time it was not a problem and we did not encroach on the other two campsites beside us.The suburban was packed and the trailer was fully packed also. We also brought up the fact that we weren't even sure if we were gonna go because the children are still technically sick but The manager Haven't gotten back to us. The office girls remembered us calling. They said well that Trailer can't go to the campsite sooo.,, I said well go get the manager, please. He was supposed to speak with us anyways. Just standing around The kids were still in the truck with The Motherin Law and we said you know what we'll meet him at the campsite we need to get the kids out of the truck. He shows up , we talk ,we start to unload and then he gets all pissed because he had no idea that he was supposed to call us back. He explains that the trailers are danger, then we go back-and-forth and he explains how the campsite has no Liability for anyone. he owns all the land. He's been doing this for 30 years. No Corperation owns this place , he has all his staff do the work not him , He's never let open trailers on a campsite . Justin Almighty nobody can touch me ,. I have a shiny truck. Blah blah, blah blah He also insulted me about my business and that I know nothing about liability insurance because my business is a joke. We said you know what we've had enough of you. We're leaving ,refund our money. He said sure I'll do that later tonight. I said you couldn't even Call us back. We start loading everything back up on the trailer. He did the refund on his phone and we got A confirmation email which was good enough. We eventually called around and found a new place to camp that day and it was the best.Don't go here go somewhere else. - kyle bray

Cape Cod Maple Park Campground & RV Park Introduce

For local users in Massachusetts and the surrounding areas searching for "RV parks near me," Cape Cod Maple Park Campground & RV Park, located at 290 Glen Charlie Rd, East Wareham, MA 02538, offers a camping destination within the popular Cape Cod region. With phone numbers (508) 295-4945 and +1 508-295-4945, this park aims to cater to both RV and tent campers seeking a local outdoor experience. However, based on recent customer reviews, it's essential for potential visitors to be aware of varying opinions regarding the park's management, rules, and facilities.

One reviewer who visited in August with young children shared a significantly negative experience, stating they left after only an hour. Their account details a lack of communication regarding a cancellation or date change request due to their children's illness. Upon arrival, they encountered issues with bringing an open trailer to their campsite, despite having done so without problems during a previous visit in May. This reviewer reported that a staff member had even complimented their setup during the earlier stay. The park's policy, as explained upon their second arrival, was that trailers could not be left on the campsite and all belongings should fit within the towing vehicle. This policy, the reviewer noted, was not explicitly stated on the website. The interaction with the manager escalated, with accusations of unprofessional behavior, including insults regarding the reviewer's business and knowledge of liability insurance. This negative experience led the reviewer to strongly advise others to avoid the park.

In contrast, another reviewer expressed positive sentiments, stating they had stayed at the park for years and loved it. This long-term visitor highlighted the availability of activities for children and contradicted the negative reviews about the staff, suggesting that adhering to the park's rules ensures a smooth experience. They attributed some rules, particularly those concerning fires, to state regulations rather than the park's fault. This reviewer described the manager and office staff as "amazing" and praised the snack shack and its employees for being personable and friendly. They encouraged potential visitors not to let negative reviews about rules deter them from enjoying their time at the park.

Considering these contrasting viewpoints, it's challenging to provide a definitive description of the environment, services, and features without further objective information. However, we can infer some possibilities based on the location and the limited details provided in the reviews. Being located in Cape Cod, the park likely benefits from the region's natural beauty, which could include proximity to beaches, woodlands, or other scenic landscapes. The environment might offer a typical campground setting with individual sites, potentially shaded by trees. The presence of a playground suggests family-friendly features, and the mention of a snack shack indicates some level of on-site convenience.

The conflicting reviews offer limited insight into the specific services provided. Typically, RV parks offer sites with varying levels of hookups, including electricity, water, and sewer. Tent sites might be more basic. Restroom and shower facilities are usually available, although one negative review described the bathrooms as "terrible." Other potential services could include laundry facilities, recreational areas (beyond the playground), and possibly Wi-Fi access. The closure of "most of their activities" reported by one reviewer is concerning and suggests that the availability of amenities might vary or be seasonal. The lack of staff patrolling for disturbances, also mentioned in the negative review, could be a factor for some visitors to consider regarding noise levels and overall park management.

Features of Cape Cod Maple Park Campground & RV Park could include the playground mentioned, the snack shack, and potentially other recreational facilities. Its location in East Wareham provides access to the broader attractions of Cape Cod, such as beaches, historical sites, and various tourist destinations. For local users, this proximity to Cape Cod's offerings could be a significant feature. However, the internal features and the quality of the park itself seem to be areas of contention based on the reviews.

Promotional information is scarce in the provided text, aside from the implicit promotion of being a place to stay in Cape Cod. The positive reviewer's comments about the family-friendly atmosphere and the quality of the snack shack could be seen as promotional points. However, the starkly negative review serves as a strong caution. Potential local users should weigh these contrasting experiences carefully. The fact that one reviewer had a positive experience over several years while another had an overwhelmingly negative one during a single, albeit brief, visit suggests that individual experiences may vary significantly.

For local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Cape Cod Maple Park Campground & RV Park, it is strongly recommended to conduct further research. This should include looking for more recent reviews on various platforms, checking the park's official website (if available) for information on amenities, policies, and booking procedures, and potentially contacting the park directly with specific questions, especially regarding policies on trailers and cancellation/date changes. Given the conflicting feedback, it would be prudent to gather as much information as possible to make an informed decision about whether this RV park meets your needs and expectations for a local camping experience.

In conclusion, Cape Cod Maple Park Campground & RV Park offers a location within the popular Cape Cod region, potentially appealing to local RV and tent campers. While one long-term visitor reports positive experiences with the staff and family-friendly features, another recent visitor detailed significant issues with management communication, rule enforcement regarding trailers, and the overall quality of the facilities and services. Local users should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough additional research before making a reservation.
