Caribbee's Mobile Home Park Introduce
Caribbee's Mobile Home Park, situated at 411 Lewis Rd, San Jose, CA 95111, USA, presents an option for affordable mobile home living within the city of San Jose. For local users exploring housing alternatives, including those who might be searching under the category of "RV parks near me," understanding the nuances of a community like Caribbee's is essential. This introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview based on the available customer reviews, allowing prospective residents to weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks.
Located on Lewis Road in San Jose, Caribbee's Mobile Home Park benefits from its position within a major urban center in Silicon Valley. This location likely offers proximity to various amenities, including shopping centers, restaurants, and transportation routes. The affordability of living in this park, as highlighted by one reviewer, could be a significant draw, especially considering the high cost of living in the San Jose area. However, specific details about the immediate neighborhood environment and the overall accessibility of services would require further local investigation by interested individuals.
One of the recurring themes in the customer reviews is the sense of community among the residents. One reviewer who lives in the park describes the neighbors as "so friendly," which suggests a positive social environment and a welcoming atmosphere within the community. This can be a significant advantage for those seeking a sense of belonging and neighborly support in their living situation.
However, this positive aspect is contrasted by concerns regarding the upkeep of some mobile homes and common areas. The same resident mentions the need for "notices of clean up" for certain properties, citing issues such as "abandoned cars" left in guest parking and "over grown weeds." These issues suggest potential inconsistencies in maintaining the overall aesthetic and functionality of the park. The complaint about people searching through recycled garbage and leaving messes also indicates a lack of respect for community spaces and rules by some individuals.
The management's role is another significant point of discussion in the reviews. The resident who mentioned the friendly neighbors also notes that the "Manager gives rules people just need to follow them," implying that while rules are in place, consistent adherence by all residents might be lacking. This suggests a potential need for more effective enforcement of community guidelines to ensure a pleasant living environment for everyone.
Safety within the park is also a concern raised by the same resident, who points out that "People race down here like if there in a hurry" and expresses worry about children getting hit. This indicates a potential issue with speeding within the park and a need for traffic calming measures such as "stop signs and larger speed limits signs" to improve safety for pedestrians, especially children.
The second reviewer offers a more positive overall assessment, giving the park 5 stars due to its affordability ("how cheap it is to live here") and the fact that it is "well kept up." This directly contradicts some of the concerns raised by the first reviewer regarding upkeep. This discrepancy highlights the importance of considering multiple perspectives and potentially visiting the park to form one's own opinion on the maintenance standards.
The second reviewer also acknowledges that "The manager is strict," and mentions that many people, including their girlfriend, find him rude. However, their personal interactions with the manager were "okay," and they offer a more sympathetic perspective, suggesting he might be "just a busy man" who can come across as grumpy due to age and workload. They also draw a comparison to other apartment and park managers, suggesting that dealing with residents can be challenging and might influence their demeanor. This review encourages residents not to "downgrade the place you live just because of one person" and to "have a little pride in the place where you live." The reviewer's concluding statement, "Considering most of San Jose is getto-like, this park isn't bad," offers a somewhat subjective but potentially relevant perspective on the overall quality of Caribbee's Mobile Home Park in the context of its surroundings.
Given these varied perspectives, prospective residents of Caribbee's Mobile Home Park should consider the following areas for further investigation:
- Community Upkeep: Visit the park to assess the overall maintenance and cleanliness of individual properties and common areas. Observe the condition of guest parking, landscaping, and roadways.
- Management Style and Responsiveness: If possible, interact with the park management to gauge their communication style and approach to enforcing community rules and addressing resident concerns. Speaking with current residents about their experiences with management could also be informative.
- Safety and Traffic: Observe traffic flow within the park and inquire about any existing or planned measures to ensure pedestrian safety, particularly for children.
- Community Rules and Enforcement: Obtain a copy of the park's rules and regulations to understand the expectations for residents regarding property maintenance, parking, and waste disposal. Inquire about the consistency of rule enforcement.
- Amenities and Services: The reviews do not provide specific details about the amenities offered at Caribbee's Mobile Home Park. Typically, mobile home parks might offer facilities such as laundry rooms, clubhouses, recreational areas, and on-site management. Inquiring about the availability, condition, operating hours, and any associated fees for these amenities is important.
- Lot Rental Fees and Regulations: As with any mobile home park, it is essential to understand the monthly lot rental fees, what services are included, and the specific rules and regulations governing residency.
For individuals searching under the category of "RV parks near me," Caribbee's Mobile Home Park, as a mobile home park, may not be primarily geared towards accommodating recreational vehicles for short-term or transient stays. Mobile home parks typically focus on providing long-term residency for individuals living in manufactured homes on leased land. However, it is possible that some mobile home parks might have limited space or specific arrangements for RVs. Therefore, if you are specifically looking for an RV park, it is recommended to contact the management of Caribbee's Mobile Home Park directly at the provided phone numbers, (408) 629-0624 or +1 408-629-0624, to inquire about their policies regarding RVs. You should specifically ask about:
- Whether they have designated RV sites available.
- The length of stay permitted for RVs.
- The availability of necessary utility hookups for RVs (water, electricity, sewer).
- The rates and any associated fees for RV stays.
- Any specific rules or regulations that apply to RV residents.
Without direct confirmation from the park management, it should not be assumed that Caribbee's Mobile Home Park operates as a traditional RV park catering to the needs of recreational vehicle travelers.
In conclusion, Caribbee's Mobile Home Park in San Jose appears to offer affordable living with a friendly neighborly atmosphere. However, prospective residents should be aware of potential issues regarding the upkeep of some properties and common areas, as well as concerns about speeding within the park. The management is described as strict, which some may see as positive for maintaining order, while others might perceive it negatively. The affordability of the park, in the context of the high cost of living in San Jose, is a significant factor to consider. Thorough investigation of the park's conditions, rules, and management style is recommended to determine if Caribbee's Mobile Home Park meets individual living preferences and standards. For those searching under "RV parks near me," direct inquiry with the management is necessary to ascertain if RVs are accommodated and under what terms.

Caribbee's Mobile Home Park Reviews
I live here. The neighbors are so friendly. But some mobile home need notices of clean up! Abandoned cars, left in guest parking and over grown weeds, people search you recycled garbage a leave messes. Manager gives rules people just need to follow them. We need stop signs and larger speed limits signs. People race down here like if there in a hurry. I just worry about children getting hit.
Sep 12, 2022 · Angela OrtegaI have to give it 5 stars considering how cheap it is to live here and how well kept up it is. The manager is strict, but he keeps the park looking decent. A lot of people say the manager is rude--even my GF says it. My few dealings with him was okay. I think he's just a busy man and gets grumpy since he's older and has a lot going on for his age. Dealing with people isn't easy. Most apartment and park managers act the same way. I think the BS people dish out makes a person act that way. If you live at this park, don't downgrade the place you live just because of one person--have a little pride in the place where you live. Considering most of San Jose is getto-like, this park isn't bad. :-)
Nov 25, 2019 · RaymondDennis, one of the park manager, isn’t a well trained human being. I believe he has potential, but no connections with people living here. Maybe he doesn’t like the poor or different ethnicities. I do know that he needs to change his rude manners, be more lean with the park regulations, and let people have some freedom here.

Jun 06, 2023 · Alex Chow (Alex Chow Homes)I submit my documents when I buy mobile home at this park about 4 weeks but they don’t do any thing. The manager is very rude and racist. Do you know how to complain or report this park to state or government about them?
