Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community Introduce
For our users in Singapore exploring potential long-term stay options or investment opportunities in the United States via platforms that might intersect with the "RV Parks Near Me" category (as some platforms may list mobile home communities), let's take a look at Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community located in Mooresburg, Tennessee, USA. It's important to approach this introduction with objectivity, considering the available feedback from residents, which presents a mixed picture.
Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community is situated at 955 County Line Rd, Mooresburg, TN 37811. Its location offers proximity to both Cherokee Lake and the town of Morristown, which could be attractive features for those seeking access to recreational activities and urban amenities. Cherokee Lake is known for its scenic beauty and opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water sports, while Morristown provides access to shopping, dining, and essential services. This geographical context suggests a lifestyle that combines access to nature with the conveniences of town living.
One positive aspect highlighted in the customer reviews is the physical layout of the community. According to one resident, the park offers "good size lots," which is a significant advantage for homeowners seeking space and privacy. Larger lots can accommodate various sizes of mobile homes and often provide room for landscaping, parking, and outdoor living areas. This feature can contribute to a more comfortable and less crowded living environment compared to parks with smaller lot sizes.
Another mentioned benefit is that "trash is included" as part of the services. This is a practical convenience for residents, simplifying waste management and potentially reducing individual expenses. Knowing that trash disposal is handled by the community can be an attractive factor when considering the overall cost and ease of living in a mobile home park.
Furthermore, the same positive review notes that "the neighbors are very nice and there are several families" residing in the community. A friendly and welcoming neighborhood can significantly enhance the quality of life for residents, fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit. The presence of families suggests a diverse demographic and potentially a family-friendly environment, which can be appealing to individuals and families looking for a stable and supportive community.
However, it is crucial to address a severely negative review that presents a starkly contrasting perspective on the management and living conditions at Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community. This review alleges extremely concerning behavior by the management, including accusations of mishandling payments, unjustly banning a resident's family member (which consequently impacted the reviewer's living situation), cutting off essential utilities (electricity), preventing the delivery of food and water to a resident, and ultimately taking the resident's dog. The reviewer paints a picture of neglect and mistreatment, expressing a belief that "no one cares in this place" and hoping for new management. This account raises serious concerns about the ethical and operational standards of the community's management.
Given the significant disparity between the two reviews, it is challenging to provide a fully objective introduction without acknowledging both perspectives. While one resident describes a good mobile home park with nice neighbors and practical amenities, the other recounts a deeply distressing experience involving alleged mistreatment and neglect by the management. This contrast underscores the importance of thorough research and due diligence for anyone considering residing in this community.
Connecting this to the "RV Parks Near Me" platform category, it's important to note that while the category primarily focuses on short-term stays for recreational vehicles, some platforms might include listings for mobile home communities as a longer-term housing option. In this context, Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community would be presented as a residential option with certain location-based advantages (proximity to Cherokee Lake and Morristown) and some community-related benefits (good size lots, included trash, nice neighbors). However, the presence of the highly negative review necessitates a cautious approach and highlights the critical need for potential residents to seek further information and potentially speak with current residents before making any decisions.
For our users in Singapore who might be considering relocating to the Mooresburg, Tennessee area or investing in property there, Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community presents a location with certain geographic advantages and community aspects. However, the serious allegations raised in the negative review cannot be ignored and should serve as a significant point of concern. Any platform listing this community under "RV Parks Near Me" or a similar category should ideally provide a balanced view, or at the very least, allow potential residents to access all available feedback to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community in Mooresburg, Tennessee, offers good size lots, includes trash service, and is located near Cherokee Lake and Morristown, with some residents reporting friendly neighbors. However, a deeply concerning review alleging severe mismanagement and mistreatment of a resident presents a significant caveat. Potential residents should exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent research, and seek multiple perspectives before considering this community as a place to live. Platforms listing this property should ensure that all available feedback, both positive and negative, is accessible to provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential living experience.

Nov 27, 2024 · Jill GarberGood mobile home park. Close to Cherokee Lake and Morristown. Good size lots. Trash is included too. The neighbors are very nice and there are several families.
Nov 24, 2024 · Chris FrenchDo not rent from these people they are slum lords! They raise the rent with no improvements to the park. They are violating our constitutional rights in the lease. They only care about the money and charge you late fees even though your rent is paid early. You can't get a hold of any of the owners ever. The park manager is a liar and doesn't forward messages to the owner then makes you look like the bad guy. She's a thief and will rip you off to benefit herself. Beware of this place!
