Claremore RV Park Introduce
For those in search of "RV parks near me" in the Claremore, Oklahoma vicinity, Claremore RV Park, situated at 2135 OK-88, Claremore, OK 74017, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer feedback. You can contact the park at (918) 510-5522 or +1 918-510-5522 for inquiries and reservations. While some aspects of the park are praised, others raise important considerations for potential visitors, especially those with larger recreational vehicles.
One reviewer described Claremore RV Park as being "off the beaten path" and "VERY rundown," noting that a majority of the occupants are long-term residents or permanent dwellers. This observation could indicate a more established community feel, which might appeal to some seeking a stable environment. However, the "rundown" descriptor suggests that the park may lack modern amenities or may be in need of general maintenance and upgrades. Local users considering this park for their RVing guests should be aware of this potential condition.
The same reviewer also pointed out a significant challenge related to the site dimensions, stating that while the pads are concrete, they are "extremely narrow." This narrowness poses a particular problem for larger RVs. The reviewer, traveling in a 45-foot fifth wheel, experienced firsthand the difficulty of maneuvering and fitting onto the designated space. Their rig occupied the entire pad, forcing them to park their truck in the grass in front of the camper, which consequently blocked their door. This "not a good setup" for big rigs is a critical piece of information for anyone traveling in a substantial recreational vehicle and considering Claremore RV Park.
On a more positive note, another reviewer had a very different experience, describing their interaction with the park as "a blessing." They called last minute in hopes of finding a spot and found the gentleman they spoke with to be "nice & very helpful." This positive interaction with the management is a significant plus, suggesting a welcoming and accommodating attitude. The reviewer also highlighted that they had been turned away from another park due to the age of their rig, but Claremore RV Park had "no judgements," indicating a potentially more inclusive approach to accommodating different types of RVs. Furthermore, this reviewer found the park to be "clean safe quiet," which are essential qualities for a comfortable and secure stay.
Considering the environment of Claremore RV Park, the feedback is somewhat contradictory. The "off the beaten path" description suggests a potentially quieter location, away from the main thoroughfare, which could be appealing to those seeking peace and tranquility. However, the "very rundown" comment implies that the aesthetic and overall condition of the park might not be ideal. The presence of long-term residents could contribute to a stable community atmosphere but might also mean that the park's focus is less on short-term vacationers and more on permanent living arrangements.
Regarding services and features, the reviews offer limited details. The mention of concrete pads is a positive, as level and stable parking is crucial for RVs. However, the narrowness of these pads is a significant limitation for larger vehicles. The positive reviewer mentioned the park being "clean safe quiet," which suggests that essential services like waste management and security are adequately provided. However, there is no information about other common RV park amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, recreational areas, or pet policies. Potential visitors should inquire specifically about the availability and condition of these services.
The contrasting experiences highlight the importance of direct communication with Claremore RV Park to understand the current conditions and policies. For local users expecting to host RV-traveling friends or family, it would be wise to ascertain the suitability of the park for the size of their guests' rigs and their expectations regarding amenities.
No promotional information is included in the provided reviews. RV parks may offer various rates depending on the length of stay, the size of the site, and the season. To find out about current pricing and any special offers at Claremore RV Park, interested individuals should contact them directly using the provided phone numbers. Given the feedback about the park being "rundown," it would be prudent to inquire about the rates in relation to the condition and amenities offered to ensure value for money.
For local users in Claremore, Oklahoma, who are searching for "RV parks near me," Claremore RV Park presents a situation with both positive and negative aspects. The friendly and helpful management, coupled with a clean, safe, and quiet environment, are definite advantages. Additionally, the park's apparent openness to accommodating older RVs without judgment could be a significant benefit for some travelers. However, the serious limitation of extremely narrow sites, particularly problematic for big rigs, and the description of the park as "very rundown" are significant drawbacks that must be carefully considered. Local users should advise their RV-traveling guests, especially those with larger vehicles, to inquire in detail about the site dimensions and the overall condition of the park before making a reservation. It might also be beneficial to explore other RV park options in the Claremore area to find a better fit, especially if traveling in a large RV or prioritizing modern amenities and well-maintained facilities.
In conclusion, Claremore RV Park offers a location near Claremore, Oklahoma, with friendly management and a reputation for being clean, safe, and quiet. However, potential visitors, especially those with larger RVs, must be aware of the reported extremely narrow concrete pads and the park's "rundown" condition. Direct communication with the park is essential to ascertain if it meets individual needs and expectations. Local users should weigh these factors carefully when considering this option for themselves or their RV-traveling guests.

Claremore RV Park Reviews
Off the beaten path, and VERY rundown. Most people there are long-term or live there permanently. The pads are concrete, but they are extremely narrow. If you have a big rig, it is extremely difficult to pull in and stay on the pad.I have a 45 foot 5th wheel, and my rig took the entire space. We had to park in the grass in front of our camper so our truck blocked our door. It's not a good setup.
Nov 04, 2024 · Rebecca JohnsonWhat a blessing i called last minute in hopes for a spot. The gentlemen i spoke with was nice & very helpful. We had been turned away from another park, for the year of our rig. No judgements at this park. Clean safe quiet thanks

May 29, 2024 · Teina BurnsI would give this place -100 stars. The manager is absolutely TERRIBLE. He must’ve been raised under a rock because he has no people skills at all. Very rude and if you ask him for help it’s an inconvenience for him. Larry, if you’re reading this, don’t run a place where you need customer service skills if you feel like everyone is an inconvenience to you. What got be in was the low rates. You guessed it, too good to be true. Next thing was he didn’t have you sign any type of lease for extended stay?? No papers whatsoever to sign. He would just leave a envelope on your door with whatever he wants you to pay. I get having to pay electric too but one month the utilities alone were almost $300!!!!? Excuse me, for an RV?! I don't think so.
