Ed's Mobile Home Park Introduce
Ed's Mobile Home Park, located at 580 Co Rd 922, Jemison, AL 35085, USA, offers a distinctive residential experience for those seeking a stable and community-oriented living situation. While searches for "RV parks near me" might bring up various options, Ed's Mobile Home Park primarily caters to manufactured homes, with a significant emphasis on homeownership rather than lot rental. For inquiries, the park can be reached at (205) 688-1194 or +1 205-688-1194. It is important to note that this community stands apart from typical RV parks due to its focus on long-term residency and property ownership, which shapes its environment, services, and features.
The environment of Ed's Mobile Home Park is strongly characterized by its community spirit and family-friendly atmosphere. According to resident reviews, it is considered a "good neighborhood" made up of "GOOD families and MANY children." This suggests a vibrant and active residential setting, distinct from transient parks. A key aspect highlighted by residents is that the majority of residents "own our own land," which fosters a greater sense of permanence, pride in ownership, and community investment compared to rental models. While specific details on the physical landscaping or amenities are not extensively provided, the emphasis on a "quiet and friendly" neighborhood suggests a well-maintained and respectful living space. Jemison, Alabama, offers a pleasant suburban-rural blend, providing a calm backdrop for this community while still offering access to local amenities and services.
The layout of the park is designed to accommodate manufactured homes, with individual lots. The presence of trees and green spaces is common in such communities, contributing to a comfortable outdoor environment. The Alabama climate, with its mild winters and warm summers, allows for enjoyment of outdoor activities throughout much of the year, which aligns with the community's reported family-friendly nature and activities like "fishing, swimming, and cook out." The community's strong emphasis on residents owning their land often translates to a more stable and cared-for appearance across the park.
In terms of services, while Ed's Mobile Home Park is not a traditional rental park where many utilities are included in lot rent, the services provided would primarily revolve around maintaining the communal infrastructure. This would typically include upkeep of roads within the park and general management of the common areas. As residents own their land, individual home maintenance and utility connections are generally the responsibility of the homeowner. However, the presence of public utilities like water, sewer, and electricity would be fundamental to supporting the homes within the community. The community's "family-friendly" nature also suggests that services like waste management are efficiently handled to maintain a clean and safe environment for children and residents of "all kinds of backgrounds." While not explicitly detailed, the mention of "fishing, swimming, and cook out" suggests either communal areas or accessibility to nearby natural features that support these activities for residents.
The features of Ed's Mobile Home Park are heavily influenced by its unique ownership model. The primary feature is the opportunity for individuals to own both their manufactured home and the land it sits on, a significant differentiator from most mobile home parks where only the home is owned and the lot is rented. This fosters a strong sense of pride and permanence among residents. The community is described as "family friendly," implying features or an atmosphere conducive to families with children. The mention of "fishing, swimming, and cook out" indicates that residents have access to facilities or nearby natural areas that support these recreational activities, making it an attractive place for outdoor-oriented families. The "quiet and friendly" neighborhood is a key feature, emphasizing a harmonious living environment where neighbors interact positively. The diverse background of residents, as mentioned in a review, speaks to an inclusive community. However, the review also notes "no more land for sla," which could be a typo for "sale" or "lease," indicating that available lots for purchase may be very limited or non-existent, implying a stable and possibly full community.
For those searching on "RV parks near me," it is crucial to understand that Ed's Mobile Home Park is fundamentally a residential community for manufactured homes, where residents own their property. It is not a typical RV park designed for transient or even long-term RV rentals in the conventional sense. While some mobile home parks might have limited provisions for long-term RV stays, particularly those where RVs are more akin to permanent residences, it is highly unlikely that Ed's Mobile Home Park would accommodate short-term RV camping given its ownership structure and community focus. The reviews explicitly state that residents "ALL own our own land" and that only "2 trailers that are rented out but that is about it!" This strongly suggests that the park is not set up for RV park operations or rentals, but rather for a settled, owner-occupied manufactured home community. Therefore, RV owners seeking conventional RV park services should look for facilities specifically designed for recreational vehicles.
Promotional information for Ed's Mobile Home Park would likely highlight its unique offering of land ownership combined with manufactured home living. It would appeal to individuals and families looking for an affordable path to homeownership within a supportive community environment. The family-friendly atmosphere, the sense of community, and the opportunities for recreational activities like fishing and swimming would be key selling points. Any promotions would likely focus on the benefits of purchasing land and a manufactured home within a established, quiet neighborhood. Given the review mentioning "no more land for sla," promotional efforts might also focus on resales within the community rather than new lot development, if that is indeed the case. The emphasis would be on the long-term stability and quality of life offered in Jemison, Alabama, for residents who value community and property ownership.
In conclusion, Ed's Mobile Home Park at 580 Co Rd 922, Jemison, AL 35085, USA, contactable at (205) 688-1194 or +1 205-688-1194, is a distinctive residential mobile home park. Its environment is characterized by a strong, family-friendly community where residents largely own their land, fostering a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Services would encompass the maintenance of common areas, with individual homeowners responsible for their utilities. Key features include the opportunity for land ownership, a welcoming atmosphere for families with children, and access to activities like fishing, swimming, and cookouts. It is not an RV park in the traditional sense and is highly unlikely to accommodate short-term RV stays, making it unsuitable for those searching for "RV parks near me" for transient purposes. Instead, it serves as a desirable, long-term housing option for those seeking a settled community in Jemison, Alabama.

Ed's Mobile Home Park Reviews
First of all Chris Smith, I love in the corner right in the front. This isn't what you would call your average "trailer park!!" We all work hard or are retired/disabled and we ALL own our own land!! We do not RENT!! There may be 2 trailers that are rented out but that is about it! Out neighborhood is made up of GOOD families and MANY children! Therefore you WILL NOT find "HOs" in this community and it would be appreciated if you did not be so degrading!! A good neighborhood goes to show you that there aren't ANY shores here!! We are all friendly neighbors!!!
