Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park Introduce
For local users in Memphis, Tennessee, or tourists visiting the area, particularly those interested in being close to Graceland and searching within the platform category of "RV parks near me," Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park, located at 3971 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38116, USA, presents a seemingly convenient option. This introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview of the RV park based on the available customer reviews, highlighting both its potential benefits and significant drawbacks.
One positive aspect mentioned in the reviews is the initial interaction with the office staff. One guest specifically noted that "Deidra checked us in and was very nice and professional." This suggests that at least some members of the staff provide a positive first impression and handle check-in efficiently and courteously.
In terms of amenities, the park reportedly offers "full hook ups, laundry, and showers," which are essential for RV travelers seeking a comfortable stay. The presence of these facilities can be a significant draw for those who require these services during their travels. Additionally, its proximity to Graceland is explicitly mentioned as a convenience, making it an attractive location for Elvis Presley fans visiting the iconic landmark.
However, alongside these positive points, several serious concerns have been raised by other reviewers, painting a less favorable picture of the overall experience at Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park. One recurring issue is the quality of the Wi-Fi service, described as "slow" by one guest and "practically nonexistent unless you are sitting at the office" by another. For travelers who rely on internet connectivity for work, communication, or entertainment, this could be a significant inconvenience.
Another discrepancy noted is the absence of a pool, despite it being shown in the park's site or listing. This misrepresentation can be disappointing for guests who specifically chose the park based on the availability of this amenity, especially during warmer months.
Perhaps the most concerning feedback relates to the safety and environment surrounding the RV park. One reviewer described the "Neighborhood is a little sketchy!!" and reported that "Gun shots and police sirens were a common occurrence!" This raises serious concerns about the security and peace of mind of guests staying at the park. The proximity to "Project housing on one side" and "loading docks that start about 4:00 am making loud noises!!" on the other side further detracts from the environment, suggesting potential for both safety issues and noise disturbances.
The same reviewer recounted a disturbing incident where "The RV park’s caretakers had a Molotov cocktail thrown at their place when we were there!!" This is an extremely serious event that underscores significant safety and security issues within or around the park.
Furthermore, the review details a concerning management decision to evict "a family with an autistic child because they refused to get rid of their dog!" This action raises ethical questions and suggests a lack of compassion or flexibility on the part of the management regarding residents with special needs and their service animals or emotional support animals.
The same guest also reported a negative personal experience with the management regarding mail, stating that after moving closer to work one day before their glasses arrived, the park "would not hold them for me to pick up and returned them as unknown address!!" This indicates a lack of customer service and a potentially rigid or unhelpful approach to guest needs.
Another issue mentioned was a "big ant problem," and while the park sprayed for fire ants in the field, they reportedly did not address the ant problem around the campers. This suggests a reactive rather than proactive approach to pest control and a potential disregard for the comfort of the individual RV sites.
Finally, a logistical problem was encountered with the shared power poles. The reviewer noted that they had "one 50 and one 30 amp plug on the pole," but another camper needed an adapter because both were 30 amps. The lack of prior warning about this configuration caused inconvenience as the guest had to search for adapters late at night. This indicates a potential lack of clear communication and possibly outdated or inconsistent infrastructure.
Based on these reviews, Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park presents a mixed bag for potential guests:
- **Pros:**
- Friendly and professional initial interaction with some staff members.
- Full hookups, laundry, and showers available.
- Convenient location for visiting Graceland.
- **Cons:**
- Slow or practically nonexistent Wi-Fi.
- Misrepresentation regarding the availability of a pool.
- Concerns about the safety and sketchiness of the surrounding neighborhood, including reports of gunshots and police sirens.
- Significant noise pollution from nearby loading docks starting early in the morning.
- A serious security incident involving a Molotov cocktail thrown at the caretakers' residence.
- Questionable eviction of a family with an autistic child over a pet.
- Lack of helpfulness regarding mail handling for former guests.
- Unaddressed ant problems around individual campsites.
- Potential issues with shared power poles and lack of prior communication about electrical configurations.
Given the stark contrast between the positive initial impression and the significant safety, environmental, and management concerns raised by other reviewers, local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Memphis should approach Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park with caution. While its proximity to Graceland might be appealing, the reported issues regarding safety, noise, amenities, and management practices could significantly impact the quality of stay.
As no promotional information was provided, this overview relies solely on the experiences shared by past guests. The strong negative feedback, particularly concerning safety and management, outweighs the few positive comments. Potential guests are strongly advised to consider these factors carefully before making a reservation.
To obtain further clarification or to inquire about any changes in management or improvements to the park, interested individuals can contact Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park directly at (901) 332-3633 or +1 901-332-3633. However, given the nature of the concerns raised in the reviews, it would be prudent to seek recent and multiple perspectives before making a decision to stay at this RV park.
In conclusion, while Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park offers a convenient location for Graceland visitors and provides basic amenities like full hookups, laundry, and showers, potential guests must be aware of the significant concerns raised in customer reviews regarding neighborhood safety, noise, misrepresented amenities, pest issues, and questionable management practices. Thoroughly weighing these factors is essential for local users and tourists alike when considering this RV park for their stay in Memphis.

Elvis Presley Boulevard RV Park Reviews
Deidra checked us in and was very nice and professional. This place has full hook ups, laundry, and showers. Close to Graceland. Slow wifi but it worked. Had 2 quiet days and nights there. I have no complaints and would def recommend this rv park.
Jan 18, 2022 · Mary L MoorerThe park is nice! The office staff was friendly until they got paid! The wifi is practically nonexistent unless you are sitting at the office!! Laundry facilities are ok. Although the site shows a pool there is not one!! Neighborhood is a little sketchy!! Gun shots and police sirens were a common occurrence! There are Project housing on one side and the other side has loading docks that start about 4:00 am making loud noises!! The RV park’s caretakers had a Molotov cocktail thrown at their place when we were there!! They evicted a family with an autistic child because they refused to get rid of their dog! I moved closer to work one day before my glasses arrived in the mail and they would not hold them for me to pick up and returned them as unknown address!! We also had a big ant problem and they sprayed for fire ants in the field but not around the campers or for the other ants!! The campers shared power poles and they had one 50 and one 30 amp plug on the pole. One of the campers had to have an adapter because both were 30 amps and we were not warned ahead and had to go looking for adapters late at night!!After staying for a month we couldn’t got out of here fast enough!!
May 24, 2022 · Tonja BassalWe Spent 3 months here at the Park as my wife is a Travel Nurse. the park is a older run down park that needs a lot of upkeep and love! We never once used the bath house as I was afraid of the place in general! The managers are nice ,the owners are nice also but not willing to spend any money doing anything, the park has not been updated in maybe 25 years or more the paved roads are a disaster and the park is not even close to level. but we are thankful we had a place to park as there are no other choices within miles thats had any availability! We did feel safe and Welcomed.
Sep 24, 2022 · David CrairThis rv park is a Urban RV park. We are traveling and seeing most of America and will be staying at national parks etc. But we wanted to see Graceland and Beale Street. Both are in the city. This park gives you a place to park your camper and sleep, with hook-ups and a bathroom. Can’t ask for much more. The couple that runs the joint are really nice and the rv park has full-timers so it is real quite. We came on the 4th of July and had fireworks all around us. It was great. It is in a shady part of town but we felt fine and safe with our kids here. If we visit the town again on one of our journeys we will stay again. The bathrooms and showers were very clean they just need some updating but still very clean and that is what is important. The other reviews on here are harsh because for some reason I think people were looking for the country in the city. Our water hookup and electric were just fine, we zero problems.
Jul 05, 2021 · Lindsay LibhartI don't think this place would be acceptable to a lot of travelers. It's in walking distance to the Mansion on the main drag but isn't in the best part of town. Looks like mostly a liv in camp. In any other spot here, I would,nt be OK, but this one spot works for us. satelite works if on top of trl. Picture is a bit more positive than reality. With all that, I would stay in this spot again
