The provided phone numbers, (419) 738-3005 and +1 419-738-3005, serve as contact points for inquiries and reservations. Based on the available customer reviews, the resort fosters a strong sense of community and offers the convenience of year-round camper storage on-site for seasonal residents, while also providing temporary campsites for travelers.
The environment of Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort appears to be well-maintained and community-oriented. One reviewer highlights that "everyone takes fantastic care of their area, keeping the grass cut and putting out welcoming decorations," suggesting a visually appealing and prideful atmosphere within the resort. The description of it as a place where "everyone is so nice" and an "amazing community" indicates a friendly and welcoming social environment for residents. The name "Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort" itself implies the presence of scenic elements, possibly including hills and lakes, contributing to a potentially picturesque setting. While the specific natural features are not detailed, the emphasis on community upkeep and neighborliness suggests a pleasant and well-tended environment for both seasonal and temporary visitors. The ability to keep campers on-site year-round eliminates the need for off-site winter storage, adding to the convenience for seasonal residents and further embedding the sense of a long-term community.
Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort offers a range of services catering to both seasonal and temporary RVers. For seasonal residents, a significant service is the ability to "keep your camper at year round" on their lot, eliminating the hassle and cost of winter storage elsewhere. This suggests that the resort provides year-round access and potentially maintenance or upkeep services for the grounds. The availability of temporary lots for rent indicates that the resort also caters to travelers needing a campsite for shorter durations, such as "a night or two." While specific utility hookups are not detailed, it is reasonable to assume that RV sites are equipped with standard amenities such as electrical connections, water hookups, and sewer hookups to accommodate both short-term and long-term stays. The positive mention of quick responses to questions in another RV park review from the same area (JM Enterprise & RV) suggests that responsive management might be a characteristic of RV parks in this region, though this is not explicitly stated for Glacier Hill Lakes. However, one review raises concerns about billing and customer service issues, including alleged incorrect charges, late fees, and disputes over lease terms, which potential visitors should be aware of and perhaps inquire about. It is important to note that this negative feedback pertains to administrative aspects rather than the physical environment or community feel.
The features of Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort are multifaceted. The strong sense of "amazing community" is a key feature, fostering a welcoming and social environment among residents. The convenience of year-round on-site camper storage for seasonal residents is a significant benefit. The availability of both seasonal and temporary lots allows the resort to cater to a diverse range of RVers, from long-term community members to short-term travelers. The fact that residents take pride in maintaining their individual areas, with cut grass and welcoming decorations, contributes to the overall aesthetic appeal and community spirit. The potential presence of lakes and hills, suggested by the resort's name, would add to the scenic beauty of the location, although this is not explicitly confirmed in the reviews. However, the negative review highlights potential issues with administrative practices, including billing discrepancies, late fees, and disputes over lease agreements, as well as dissatisfaction with assigned site selection. While the community aspect is praised, potential visitors should be mindful of these reported administrative challenges and consider them when making their decision. The resort's location in Wapakoneta, Ohio, provides access to local amenities and attractions in the surrounding area.
Promotional information for Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort is not explicitly provided in the customer reviews. However, based on the information given, we can infer potential promotional angles. The strong sense of community and the convenience of year-round storage could be highlighted to attract seasonal residents looking for a welcoming and hassle-free long-term RV experience. The availability of temporary lots would be promoted to attract travelers needing short-term accommodations in the Wapakoneta area. To learn about any specific discounts for extended stays, seasonal rates, or other special offers, it would be best to contact the resort directly using the provided phone numbers. Local users searching for "rv parks near me" might inquire about introductory rates for new seasonal residents or special deals for short-term travelers during off-peak seasons. Given the positive community feedback, emphasizing this aspect in any promotional materials could be effective in attracting like-minded RVers. Conversely, addressing and resolving the administrative issues raised in the negative review would be crucial for maintaining a positive reputation and attracting new visitors.
In conclusion, Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort in Wapakoneta, Ohio (11675 Wapak-Freyburg Rd, Wapakoneta, OH 45895, USA), offers a unique RV experience characterized by a strong and welcoming community, as well as the convenience of year-round on-site camper storage for seasonal residents. The resort also caters to temporary travelers with short-term lot rentals. The environment appears to be well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, with residents taking pride in their spaces. However, potential visitors should be aware of a negative review highlighting concerns about administrative practices, including billing issues and lease disputes. While the community aspect is a significant draw, it would be prudent for prospective guests to inquire about these administrative aspects and ensure clarity regarding billing and lease terms before committing to a stay. For local users searching for "rv parks near me" in the Wapakoneta area, Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort presents a community-focused option with the added benefit of year-round storage for seasonal RVers, but careful consideration of all available feedback is advisable.

Glacier Hill Lakes RV Resort Reviews
My sister and I rented a spot and set up autopay. On the 7th, they hadn’t taken the rent from the authorized card, told her to pay online and charged a late fee. Then they tried to take the money from my card. We decided to terminate our month to month lease and they tried two times to get $25 from my card. Now they refuse to return the money they already said they would and claim we signed a year lease. They didn’t even give us the open spot we picked out, but gave us a spot that might barely fit her camper.
Apr 19, 2025 · David GraumanWe love Glacier Hills. This is a seasonal campground that you can keep your camper at year round. No need to find storage for the winter as it is on your lot here. Everyone takes fantastic care of their area, keeping the grass cut and putting out welcoming decorations. Everyone is so nice here, it is an amazing community. If you are traveling and need a campsite for a night or two, they also have temporary lots for rent.
Sep 02, 2024 · Tracy HarrisonI booked a campsite for a short weekend get away. It took 3 phone calls and 1 email to get information regarding check in and such. When we arrive there was no office staff, only a very young lady at the "camp store". We had to ask a permanent camper where our site was. It was butted up to a wall and we were nose to butt with the camper next to us. There was no room to move. Our fire pit was in between 2 large bushes so if we had a fire we would have started a large brush fire. I have since tried to email the office staff twice and have gotten no reply. I should have listen to the other reviews regarding the staff and campground. I would not recommend this campground for a family spot. There would have been even less breathing room had there been more than just me my husband and my dog.
Jul 15, 2024 · Awoodie40 Ms. MooreGranddaughter Dayna Lynne loves it. Swimming, splash pad, both kind of small but its well worth it and just common curiosity goes a long way. Great updates and improvements from tornado. The playground looks brand new and a great addition.Fishing was great especially for a 7 yr old who loves to fish with her Paw.Sue and Jr helped us out as soon as we got here and appreciate their efforts. The only thing I didn't like was the surprise shock my granddaughter and myself received when on the hill at the temporary check-in. We touched my truck while under the high voltage power towers while getting in. Yes it'll wake you up and you'll know it but after moving from that area no additional problems. If I had any additional issues with being shocked I wouldn't be staying here, but here we are with the late night fire relaxing the night away with Dayna fast asleep in her bunk after a hard day of play time. Im sure we'll be back again.
Jul 13, 2024 · Dana BowmanWARNING! Is this safe for your family and pets? Very scary for many campers!! On May 17, 2019 they had to call 911 in the middle of the night to get rescued! It very well could happen again. Many campers, park models, vehicles, and property were destroyed. All campers should be aware of the flooding dangers at any campground that has waterways flowing through it! Response from camper: The definition of disingenuous is insincere, deceptive or misleading. These pictures are not deceptive or misleading, they are the real fact, I was there, they just dont want anybody to know the dangers!!
