Glenridge Home Park Introduce
Glenridge Home Park is a mobile home community located at 10355 Lincoln Way E in Orrville, Ohio. For local users considering long-term living options or searching for "RV parks near me" in the Orrville area, understanding the environment, services, and features of Glenridge Home Park is essential. The available customer reviews provide a historical perspective and current insights into this community.
One long-time resident recounts living at Glenridge Home Park for 22 years, highlighting a significant period of stability under previous management (Rod and Joyce). This review evokes a sense of home and cherished memories, from family celebrations to personal milestones. The residents took pride in maintaining their homes and lots, suggesting a community where care for one's property was valued. This historical perspective indicates that Glenridge Home Park was once a place where residents felt a strong sense of belonging and invested in their living spaces.
However, the same review notes a decline in the park's condition over time, particularly after a change in ownership and management. The reviewer mentions issues with certain residents engaging in drug-related activities, which negatively impacted the community and created an environment where the reviewer and their family felt their home was at risk. The current state is described as a "bare bones of what it used to be," though the current manager, Justin, is acknowledged for doing his best given the circumstances he inherited. This suggests that while the park has a history of being a positive community, it has faced challenges that prospective residents should be aware of.
Another review corroborates this decline, attributing it to the cessation of background checks and the allowance of "the wrong people" into the park. This reportedly led to chaos and damage, ultimately affecting the park's overall value and potentially the quality of life for residents. The reviewer expresses sadness at seeing the deterioration of what was once a nice place. This perspective underscores the importance of understanding the current management's policies on resident screening and community standards.
In contrast to these concerns, a more recent review offers a different perspective, stating that while it might not be the ideal place to raise children, the lot rent is reasonably priced, and it can be a place to find a decent mobile home for a good price, usually. This suggests that Glenridge Home Park might still offer an affordable housing option in the Orrville area, which could be attractive to certain individuals or families.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," the provided reviews do not explicitly mention whether Glenridge Home Park accommodates recreational vehicles. Mobile home parks primarily cater to long-term residents living in manufactured homes. However, some mobile home parks may have limited space for RVs, either for short-term stays or as a longer-term but less permanent option than a mobile home. Individuals specifically seeking RV facilities in the Orrville area should directly inquire with Glenridge Home Park about their policies on RVs or explore dedicated RV parks in the vicinity.

Glenridge Home Park Reviews
It was our home for 22 years my mom and dad paid their trailer off in full from whispering pines estates from Lou hawks way before it shut down and we moved into glennridge and put our trailer on that first lot when rod and Joyce ran it I was 13 when we moved there we had alot of memories there everything from birthday parties to my graduation party to my mom passing from cancer in her bed there while on hospice care we took care of our home and our lot mowed our grass and fixed our trailer even pressure washed it every summer we never got to do much on summer vacation because every bit of our time and money went into the trailer my moms yard she always was super proud of it and always wanted it to look good my dad kept it up because it was what she would have wanted but I never really had any complaints about living there yes some of the people there were not great on drugs and tried to make life miserable for us and tried to take our home away and now is just bare bones of what it used to be and Justin is doing the best he can because by the time he got it it was in such a bad way it wasn't funnyDue to them stopping background checks and allowing the wrong people in there because they knew them or something and the chaos insued and the poor guy got the end result of somebody who stopped caring and sold out for a small chunk of the original worth due to the damage from the people that were allowed to be there and those people destroyed alot of stuff and ruined things for everyone there it was a nice place and I saw it go through alot of changes and 2 owners in the time I was there but now we live in a 4 bedroom house by a river with 10 acres of land an hour away from a beach and I have my own business but I still miss my home and my father and would trade everything to have him back on the porch drinking coffee watching some idiot get tazed
Dec 14, 2024 · Brandy ReneeThis place is not somewhere I would want to raise children. However lot rent isn't too expensive and it's a place to find a decent mobile home for a good price, usually.
Mar 01, 2018 · Mendy SmuckerVery trashy park needs to be cleaned and trailers need to be taken out wouldn't even let my dog live there. Onwer doesn't care about the shape or condition of the park or the trailers. The owner should be slapped with fines for how bad it is there. This is a horrible place. The only reason lot rent is so low is because of how bad the place is. Should just be torn down and put in new trailers and better streets. Could imagine how bad the hotel rooms are half of them have broken windows or broken doors
Apr 23, 2019 · jesse MullinsThe trailers look to be in bad shape and need repair. You feel that half the people there are most likely drug riddled, and when I spent a significant time there about 10 years ago, it all seemed the same. Maybe a new trailer or two, but the owners put no effort to make it look halfway presentable. Plus side to that would be low rent.
Mar 29, 2019 · Matthew TippleVery Run down and poorly taken care of. I do not play games and no I never lived here. Someone my son was in love with did and I picked him up and the place was very run down and a lot of underprivileged people live there and trash it.
