Nov 13, 2024 · meeks meeksEnjoyed our stay! Lots to do local. Went to Makers mark distillery and Tebbs Bend for a hay ride. Last day there was a car show at the park. The host even delivered some firewood. great walking path around the park. Caught a baseball game. The only possible issue is getting a bigger trailer situated. The sites are tight, there are trees right in the middle of where you need to line up, and people park in the middle creating maneuver obstacles. Overall recommended
Oct 17, 2024 · scott smithPark host/owner is useless. When we arrived and had no access to the absolutely disgusting shower. He told us to "go ask around for a key". Which is completely unacceptable for $200/wk. Fair was going on during our stay. Host told us again to "go ask around for a pass" so we could come & go without paying for fair access.Bathrooms & showers were located in the building by playground. When you walk in, you get an overwhelming smell of sweaty shoes. As there were hundreds of shoes in the building laid out for sale. 1 single shower - shoved in the corner with the water heater. The shower liner was clean. The plastic shower liner was gross and the floor. Nowhere clean to put your stuff. Cigarette butts on the floor. It was sooo gross.
Jun 17, 2023 · The Traveling StippelsOne thing to keep in mind is that the GPS map has the park in the middle of a bridge. When you reach the bridge, you have already passed by the park. Watch for a county park, the rv area is a parking area at the front of the park. The park is very nice and if you have children there are playgrounds for several different ages. There is a basketball court right next to the campground and several trails to explore. The owner /manager is very nice and helpful. It's just an all around good place to spend some time. The town is quite small, but There are places nearby that are interesting, and the nearest shopping center is only a few miles down the highway.
