Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Poplarville, Mississippi area, Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park, located at 38 Haas Cienda Ln, Poplarville, MS 39470, USA, presents a unique and potentially exciting option. You can reach them at (601) 795-2747 or their mobile number, +1 601-795-2747, for more information. This is an older property with a rich history, and while it currently exhibits signs of age and disrepair, it also holds the promise of unique recreational opportunities and a friendly owner.
Based on recent customer reviews, it's important for prospective visitors to have a comprehensive understanding of the current environment at Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park. Several reviewers have noted the age of the property and the presence of older, sometimes unkempt, RVs on the lots. There are mentions of rusting and rotting items, suggesting a need for significant cleanup and maintenance across the park. Some visitors have described the overall atmosphere as "disappointing" and "depressing" due to the aged infrastructure.
However, amidst these observations, a recurring positive aspect is the owner, Brad, who is consistently described as "a really great guy" and "quite jovial." His friendly demeanor and enthusiasm for potential developments seem to be a highlight for visitors. One exciting feature that the owner mentioned is the presence of mud bogs on the weekends during the summer. This could be a significant draw for those interested in off-road recreational activities and promises a fun and engaging experience. Furthermore, there are talks about the possibility of adding a dirt oval track in the future, which would further enhance the recreational offerings of the park, particularly for motorsports enthusiasts.
In terms of existing services, reviewers have commented on the spaciousness of the bathrooms and showers. Notably, the showers are made of fiberglass, which has likely contributed to their longevity compared to tile. Visitors have also appreciated the availability of hot water and decent shower heads. However, a significant concern raised is the lack of cleaning and maintenance in these facilities, with mentions of shower curtains needing replacement for an extended period.
One reviewer who stayed for two nights in a travel trailer mentioned that the owner, Brad, and another individual were helpful in backing in their trailer. They also noted that Haas-Cienda Ranch is a working ranch, and the animals present were described as "cute and friendly." The reviewer appreciated the peaceful atmosphere during both the day and night. However, their experience was negatively impacted by the "unkempt old trailers with trash around the lots," suggesting a need for residents to maintain the cleanliness of their individual spaces.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park offers a different kind of experience compared to more modern or resort-style RV parks. Its unique appeal lies in its potential for recreational activities like mud bogging and the future possibility of a dirt oval track, coupled with the friendly nature of the owner and the charm of a working ranch with animals. The spaciousness of the showers is another positive aspect mentioned by visitors.
However, it is crucial for local users to be aware of the current condition of the property. The aging infrastructure, the presence of unkempt RVs and general disrepair, and the lack of cleaning in the bathroom facilities are significant factors to consider. While the owner's plans for future improvements, such as the mud bogs and potential dirt oval track, are promising, these are not yet fully realized. The suggestion of introducing inexpensive prefab tiny home models also indicates a potential future shift in the park's offerings and demographics.
For those who prioritize a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment, Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park in its current state may not be the ideal choice. However, for individuals or groups seeking a more rustic experience with the potential for unique recreational activities and who are less concerned about the visual appeal of the older infrastructure, it could be an interesting option. The friendly owner and the peacefulness of the ranch environment are also points to consider.
There is a suggestion from one reviewer about the possibility of a "work camper program" or even a collective cleanup effort by the patrons, potentially followed by a barbecue. This highlights the potential for community involvement in improving the park's condition. The owner's openness to new ideas and his jovial nature might make such initiatives feasible in the future.
In conclusion, Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park near Poplarville, Mississippi, offers a distinctive experience as a working ranch with the potential for unique recreational activities like mud bogs and a future dirt oval track. The owner is consistently praised for his friendliness. However, the park currently exhibits signs of age and disrepair, with unkempt lots and a lack of maintenance in some areas. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh the potential for fun and the owner's positive attitude against the current condition of the property when making their decision. While it may not be a typical pleasant RV park find, its unique character and future possibilities might appeal to a specific type of traveler or long-term resident.

Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park Reviews
This is an older property. And it's quite large. There's a lot of history here. And all of it is still here! 🙈 I don't think anything that has entered this property has ever left. 😬 It's all still sitting here rusting or rotting. It's pretty much a poverty level existence area. 🙁There's not an RV here less than 15 or 20 years old. A lot of disappointing and depressing 😥This place probably had its heyday around 50 years ago. 🧐It needs an extreme makeover requiring some large dumpsters 🗑️and undoubtedly huge bonfires🔥.Though they would be toxic.😷The owner is a really great guy. 🤓Quite jovial. He was telling me they have mud bogs on the weekends in the summer!🙌🏻That would be great fun.🥳 That kind of stuff I'm into. He's also talking about putting in a dirt oval track..That would be fantastic! 🙌🏻Perhaps even work in a massive cleanup by the patrons. Then offer them a huge barbecue. There's a lot of possibilities for this place.I see there might be an attempt to introduce some inexpensive prefab tiny home models. 🤩I hope some of these people can qualify for those 🙏🏻The bathrooms🚻 and showers were spacious. The showers were actually fiberglass rather than tile which would have rotted away by now.Nice hot water 🥵and decent shower heads. 🚿However there is nobody doing any cleaning or maintenance. They look like there are years past needing new shower curtains 😥This was not one of those pleasant PA finds that I've had in the past.😥Perhaps it's a candidate for a work camper program 👷🏻♂️although practically speaking everybody living there could be a work camper already 🫢
Sep 25, 2024 · Michael ScottWe stayed 2 nights in a travel trailer. The owner Brad was nice enough as was another that backed our trailer in. Its a working ranch and the animals were cute and friendly. The only thing that bothered us was the unkempt old trailers with trash around the lots. I would think the owner would ask residents to clean up their areas. The park grounds and animal areas were well maintained. It was also very peaceful at day and night.
Mar 21, 2021 · jackie oVery clean,, Quiet, peaceful, weekends they have drive in movies. 2 for the kids and 1 for the adults. They have snacks, food, drinks at the concession stand. Mr. Brad the owner is very sweet and caring. Maintance crew is very helpful on whatever you need for your camper or even in the cabins. They are Johnny on the Spot... They also have shower houses with restroom privileges.
