HERITAGE RV PARK Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Coffeyville, Kansas area, HERITAGE RV PARK, located at 807 Moon St, Coffeyville, KS 67337, USA, is one option to consider. You can reach them at (620) 251-4499 or +1 620-251-4499 for inquiries. It's important to approach your decision with a balanced perspective, considering all available information, including direct communication with the park and any feedback from previous guests.
Based on one of the provided customer reviews, the environment surrounding HERITAGE RV PARK is described as being "in a tired area of the town." This suggests that the immediate vicinity might not be the most aesthetically appealing or vibrant part of Coffeyville. The same review also notes that the park has "mostly long-term stays." This could indicate a community with a significant number of permanent or semi-permanent residents, which might influence the overall atmosphere of the park. For short-term travelers, this could mean a quieter environment, but it's worth considering if you prefer a more transient and tourist-oriented RV park.
Information regarding the specific services offered at HERITAGE RV PARK is limited in the provided data. However, based on the general expectations for RV parks, you can likely anticipate some standard amenities. These typically include:
- RV hook-ups: This would generally involve connections for electricity (likely both 30 and 50 amp), water, and sewer at individual campsites. However, the first review raises a concern about the host potentially unplugging trailers and turning off water heaters during the winter, which is an unusual practice and something to clarify directly with the park management.
- Waste disposal: Provisions for the disposal of sewage and general trash are usually standard at RV parks.
- Potable water access: Access to a source of drinking water is essential for all RV guests.
The absence of explicit mentions of other services like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or Wi-Fi in the reviews does not necessarily mean they are not available, but it's crucial to inquire about these if they are important to your stay. The second review mentions that the "price was reasonable," which might be a significant factor for budget-conscious travelers. However, it also notes that the park is "cash only," which is an important detail to be aware of for payment purposes.
The features of HERITAGE RV PARK, based on the limited information, appear to be more basic. The primary features would likely be the individual RV sites with utility hook-ups. The review mentioning mostly long-term stays suggests that the park caters to individuals seeking a more permanent living situation. The process described in the second review, where the host asked the guest to call multiple times upon arrival, indicates a particular check-in procedure. While the reviewer found the host "pleasant to deal with" otherwise, this level of monitoring might be a consideration for those who prefer a more independent arrival process.
The first review raises a notable concern about the host interacting directly with guests' trailers without their explicit consent, specifically mentioning unplugging the trailer and turning off the water heater during winter. This is a significant point of consideration regarding privacy and the security of your property while staying at the park. It is imperative to discuss this policy and your comfort level with it directly with the management before booking a stay.
There is no specific promotional information provided for HERITAGE RV PARK. To inquire about any special rates, discounts for longer stays, or seasonal offers, you will need to contact the park directly.
The second review offers a candid perspective on the town of Coffeyville itself, describing it as "a dying town with not much to see." While this is subjective, it's worth considering if you plan to spend a significant amount of time exploring the local area. However, for those who are primarily looking for an affordable and functional RV park as a stopover or for a longer-term stay due to work or other reasons, the condition of the town might be less of a concern than the amenities and policies of the RV park itself.
In conclusion, HERITAGE RV PARK in Coffeyville, Kansas, appears to be a budget-friendly option that caters significantly to long-term residents. While the host is described as pleasant in one review, the other review raises a serious concern about unauthorized interaction with guests' RVs. The surrounding area is described as "tired" with limited attractions. For those searching "RV parks near me," it is crucial to weigh the reasonable price and potential for long-term stays against the less desirable location and the reported host behavior. Direct communication with HERITAGE RV PARK at (620) 251-4499 or +1 620-251-4499 is strongly recommended to clarify their policies, services, and address any concerns before making a reservation. Ensure you understand their winterization procedures and your expectations for privacy and the security of your RV during your stay.

HERITAGE RV PARK Reviews
The host does un plug your trailer and turn off your water heater during the winter he does touch your trailer and doesn't leave it alone
Feb 11, 2025 · Madison GriffinIn a tired area of the town with mostly long-term stays. The host asked for me to call when I was 10 minutes from arriving, then after I did so, asked me to call him again when I was five minutes away, then after I did so, he asked me to call him when I had arrived. Otherwise he was pleasant to deal with. Coffeyville is a dying town with not much to see. Price was reasonable; cash only.
Dec 20, 2023 · Douglas SprattPretty tight knit community when it's full. Everyone watches out for each others belongings. Between that and the cameras there isn't anything missed. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Even when it's packed there's a sense of calm in the park.
Aug 03, 2022 · Ashley LedfordLove it. We are in the $15 water/electric Best overnight spot we've stayed at in many a year. Would recommend you empty the cash box more often.
