For inquiries, you can contact them at (302) 834-2544 or their mobile number +1 302-834-2544.
While the platform category is focused on RV parks, Hunters Run offers a residential mobile home community that might be of interest to local users seeking a more permanent living arrangement. The available customer reviews provide contrasting perspectives on the community.
One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, particularly regarding the lot rent. They questioned the "outrageous lot rent" and specifically the inclusion of "gas" charges within it. This reviewer felt that this billing method was unfair, as individual gas usage varies, leading to potentially high rates regardless of actual consumption. The reviewer stated their intent to investigate this practice, indicating a serious concern about the pricing structure. This feedback suggests that potential residents should inquire thoroughly about all fees and how utilities are billed at Hunters Run.
In contrast, another reviewer had a very positive experience, describing Hunters Run as a "great mobile home community." This reviewer highlighted several positive aspects, starting with the physical layout of the park, noting "wide streets and landscaping" that contribute to a "neighborhood feel, not a mobile park feel." This suggests that Hunters Run is designed to create a more traditional residential atmosphere with attention to the aesthetic appeal of the community.
The positive review also praised the spacing between homes, stating that they are "set up in lots with ample space between them, not overcrowded and butted up together." This spaciousness can enhance privacy and the overall living experience, making the community feel less dense than some other mobile home parks.
Furthermore, this reviewer mentioned that the community is "no noise," indicating a peaceful and quiet environment. This can be a significant advantage for those seeking a tranquil place to live. The management by Reybold was also noted positively, along with the fact that "homes kept in good repair," suggesting proactive management and a community where property maintenance is valued.
The location of Hunters Run was also cited as a benefit, being "conveniently located to schools, shopping, doctors and places of worship." This accessibility to essential services and community resources adds to the practicality and desirability of living in Hunters Run for many residents.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is important for local users to weigh both perspectives. The positive review paints a picture of a well-maintained, spacious, and conveniently located community with a neighborhood feel. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about the cost structure, specifically the lot rent and the way gas charges are handled.
For local users browsing the "RV parks near me" platform, Hunters Run, as a mobile home park, primarily offers long-term residential opportunities. While it might not cater to temporary RV stays, the features highlighted in the positive review, such as wide streets and ample lot space, could potentially be relevant if you are considering long-term RV living in a mobile home community setting. It would be advisable to inquire with the management about their policies on RVs if this is of interest.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Hunters Run, local users should contact the management directly at (302) 834-2544 or +1 302-834-2544. Inquire about the current lot rent, how utilities, particularly gas, are billed, and any other fees associated with living in the community. You can also ask about the landscaping, the typical spacing between homes, and the amenities offered within the park. If you are interested in the management style, you can ask about Reybold's role and the community's maintenance standards.
In conclusion, Hunters Run in Bear, DE, is presented as a mobile home community with both positive attributes, such as a neighborhood feel, spacious lots, quiet environment, good management, and convenient location, and potential drawbacks related to the cost structure, specifically the lot rent and gas billing. Local users considering a move to Hunters Run should carefully evaluate these aspects and contact the management for detailed information to determine if it meets their needs and expectations for long-term community living. While not an RV park, it offers a residential option in the Bear, Delaware area that might be of interest to those seeking a different type of community.

Hunters Run Reviews
What's the deal with the outrageous lot rent...why is "gas" added in with lot rent...I think you're ripping people off...everyone's gas usage is different...you're charging high rates regardless of what people use?...You need to be investigated...gonna look into to that...No stars...
