Hutch’s RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Searcy, Arkansas area? Hutch’s RV Park, situated at 1009 Davis Dr, Searcy, AR 72143, is a relatively new addition to the local camping options. They can be reached by phone at (501) 236-7191 or via mobile at +1 501-236-7191. Based on the available online customer reviews, experiences at Hutch’s RV Park appear to be varied, with some praising its cleanliness and friendly staff, while others have encountered issues with management and check-in procedures. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the available feedback, highlighting both the positive and negative aspects for those exploring "RV parks near me."
The environment of Hutch’s RV Park seems to be appreciated by some visitors. One reviewer described it as the "Nicest RV park in Arkansas!" suggesting a well-maintained and pleasant setting. Another review, while critical of the check-in process, referred to it as a "glorified parking lot," which might imply a more utilitarian environment focused on providing parking spaces for RVs rather than extensive natural landscaping or secluded sites. However, this same reviewer acknowledged that RVers might find it "really sweet," indicating that the environment could be suitable for those primarily seeking convenient and potentially well-serviced RV spots. The positive comment about cleanliness further contributes to a potentially appealing environment for those who value well-kept facilities. The proximity to outdoor activities in the area, as mentioned by one reviewer ("Lots to do outdoors in this area"), also enhances the overall environment, suggesting that while the park itself might have a specific character, the surrounding region offers opportunities for exploration and recreation.
In terms of services, Hutch’s RV Park appears to offer some amenities, although the reviews highlight potential inconsistencies in their delivery. One positive review mentions "super clean and friendly staff!" suggesting that when staff are available, they provide good service. Another reviewer noted the presence of a "pickle ball court," indicating a recreational amenity on-site, which can be a significant draw for active travelers. The proximity to a park across the way, mentioned by a reviewer whose children enjoyed it, suggests access to additional recreational space outside the RV park itself. However, a contrasting experience is described by a reviewer who arrived during posted open hours but found the office locked and no staff available for check-in. This individual had to self-park and was later awakened late at night to pay, highlighting a potential issue with consistent on-site management and clear check-in procedures for late arrivals or those without online access. While the positive reviews suggest the presence of friendly staff and recreational facilities, the negative review indicates potential shortcomings in accessibility to these services upon arrival.
The features of Hutch’s RV Park include its newness, as mentioned by one reviewer ("It’s a new park"), which often implies modern facilities and infrastructure. The presence of a pickle ball court is a specific recreational feature that caters to a growing interest in this sport. The proximity to a park across the way provides additional space for outdoor activities, particularly for families with children. The positive reviews emphasize cleanliness as a key feature. Furthermore, the location in Searcy, AR, offers access to nearby attractions, including what one reviewer's husband described as "world class trout fishing" in the area. This suggests that the park can serve as a base for those interested in fishing and other outdoor pursuits available in the region. However, the negative review points out a potential lack of clear information regarding online registration requirements and pricing, as well as the absence of on-site staff during advertised hours, which could be seen as a significant drawback for some potential guests, especially campers who may not have the same expectations as RVers regarding amenities and check-in processes.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not explicitly mention any specific promotions, discounts, or special offers for Hutch’s RV Park. New RV parks sometimes offer introductory rates or incentives to attract initial customers. To obtain information about current rates, availability, and any potential promotions, it is recommended to contact Hutch’s RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers. Given the contrasting experiences with staff availability, it might be prudent to call ahead to confirm check-in procedures and any online registration requirements. The positive feedback regarding the park being "super clean" could be a selling point, and inquiring about any amenities included in the rates (e.g., Wi-Fi, hookups, access to the pickle ball court) would be beneficial. As a newer park, they might be actively seeking to build a positive reputation, so it’s worth asking about any grand opening specials or other incentives for new guests.
In conclusion, Hutch’s RV Park in Searcy, AR, presents a mixed profile based on the initial customer reviews. While some guests have praised its cleanliness, friendly staff, and recreational features like the pickle ball court and proximity to a park, others have experienced issues with check-in procedures and the availability of on-site management. The park’s newness and location in an area known for outdoor activities, including potential world-class trout fishing, could be significant draws for visitors. However, potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in service and the importance of clarifying check-in processes and any online registration requirements before arrival. Contacting Hutch’s RV Park directly for the most up-to-date information on rates, amenities, and any current promotions is highly recommended to ensure a smooth and satisfactory stay.

Hutch’s RV Park Reviews
I arrived at 5:30 pm. Although the sign in the office said OPEN, the doors were locked and no one around. I drove into the campground, parked my truck and walked all the way around the building checking and knocking on doors and calling out “Hello”. Nothing. The supposedly “helpful, friendly” staff was no where to be found. So I parked, put up my tent, plugged in my jackery, ate dinner and finally at dark went to bed. At 11pm I was awakened by a man who said he was the owner and wanted $60!!! For the night. He said that I was supposed to have registered online. Great but my phone was dead and I only found the place by using iOverlander earlier in the day. It’s a new park and I get it they have an investment but waking up your campers and demanding payment when NO WHERE on iOverlander was $60 mentioned and there was no “helpful, friendly staff”staff around to check me in is rude and unfriendly. If you’re an RVer you’ll probably think this glorified parking lot is really sweet. If you’re a camper stay far away.
Apr 19, 2025 · Mark and Josie PrestonNicest RV park in Arkansas! My family and I had the best stay. Super clean and friendly staff!Lots to do outdoors in this area. My husband says there is some “world class trout fishing”. My 4 children love the pickle ball court and the park across the way.
Apr 09, 2025 · maddyAwesome place to visit! I stayed here for a few nights while on a road trip, and the staff were so kind and helpful. There is a lot to do there as I have two kids, so having the park with a playground and a creek to take them fishing near by was so convenient, plus a beautiful walking trail right out back. Highly recommend!
