I-65 RV Campground Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" in the Creola, Alabama area? I-65 RV Campground, located at 730 Jackson Rd, Creola, AL 36525, USA, presents itself as an option for both short-term and potentially long-term stays. Situated in Creola, the campground offers accessibility to the I-65 corridor, potentially making it a convenient stop for travelers passing through or those looking for a base to explore the Mobile region, including nearby areas like Saraland and Axis.
Based on the available reviews, experiences at I-65 RV Campground appear to be varied, and it's essential for prospective guests to consider both positive and negative feedback when making their decision. One long-term resident expressed a highly positive experience, stating, "We have lived here for a year and we love it!" This reviewer praised the management for their hard work in maintaining the campground's appearance. Specific examples of their efforts include filling potholes with rocks and ensuring the cleanliness of the laundry room and bathhouse. The management is also credited with regular groundskeeping, including grass cutting, weed eating, and blowing, contributing to a "nice place to live that looks nice." Furthermore, this reviewer highlighted the responsiveness of the management, noting that they are readily available to assist with any needs. This positive account emphasizes a well-maintained environment and attentive management.
However, another reviewer presents a starkly contrasting experience. This individual describes the campground management as harassing and neglectful of property upkeep, with a disregard for guest safety and well-being. A significant concern raised is the presence of "top tier pot holes that look like they are mining for gold," which are claimed to pose a risk of tire damage, bent rims, and even broken axles. This paints a picture of potentially hazardous road conditions within the campground.
Safety concerns extend beyond road conditions in this negative review. The presence of "leaning and hanging dead limbs and branches on trees that are way too close to campers" is highlighted as a potential hazard, with the risk of these falling onto or through RVs. This suggests a lack of necessary tree maintenance, potentially endangering guests and their property.
Adding to the list of negative experiences is a claim of intermittent electrical shocks when touching metal on campers. This issue is described as affecting multiple campers and having uncertain origins, allegedly stemming from inconsistent or inadequate electrical repairs. Such a situation raises serious safety concerns for residents.
The availability and quality of Wi-Fi are also disputed in the negative review. Despite the campground allegedly stating that Wi-Fi is provided, the reviewer claims that it is effectively non-existent, forcing guests to rely on their own mobile data plans. This discrepancy between advertised and actual services can be a significant inconvenience for travelers needing internet access.
Finally, the negative review raises concerns about the accountability of the property management, stating that they do not own the property and that contacting the actual owner to address issues is difficult. This lack of clear ownership and accessible contact information for higher authorities can be frustrating for tenants seeking resolutions to problems.
Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment, services, and features of I-65 RV Campground based solely on these two reviews. The positive review suggests a well-maintained and managed park, while the negative review paints a picture of neglect, safety hazards, and mismanagement. Prospective guests should be aware of these contrasting experiences.
Without further information, it is impossible to provide a comprehensive list of services and features offered at I-65 RV Campground. Based on the positive review, we can infer that the campground likely offers basic amenities such as a laundry room and bathhouse, and the management appears to be responsive to the needs of long-term residents, addressing issues like potholes and grounds maintenance. However, the negative review contradicts the quality of these amenities and services.

It would also be prudent to ask about the management's response to the issues raised in the negative review to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current conditions at the campground. Visiting the site in person, if feasible, could also provide valuable insight before making a decision.
In conclusion, I-65 RV Campground in Creola, Alabama, has received contrasting reviews from its guests. While one long-term resident praises the hardworking management and well-maintained environment, another describes significant issues with property upkeep, safety, and management practices. Potential visitors should carefully consider these differing perspectives and conduct their own due diligence, including direct contact with the campground, to determine if it meets their needs and expectations for an "RV park near me" in the Mobile area.

I-65 RV Campground Reviews
We have lived here for a year and we love it! The managers work really hard to keep this Campground looking good. They have put down rocks in the pot holes. The make sure the laundry room and bathhouse is clean. They have been cutting the grass, weed eating and blowing to make sure we have a nice place to live that looks nice. If you need anything, you can message them and they will help you with anything that you need. We love staying here. We have stayed at other places but this is by far our favorite!
May 04, 2025 · Carole TylerThis campground is run by management that harasses its tenants, does not upkeep the property, and simply does not care about the safety and wellbeing of its guests. If you want to blow a tire, bend a rim, or even break an axle then this is perfect for you with their top tier pot holes that look like they are mining for gold. Maybe you want to see nature first hand inside your camper, well with the leaning and hanging dead limbs and branches on trees that are way too close to campers, you can have a front row seat when they come through your camper or even better land on top of it. You can also experience a nice jolt in the morning before work with a shock from who knows where when you touch any metal on your camper that comes and goes depending on who “fixed” it last. And that’s not just one camper but multiple that experience this shock. You want WiFi? Well sorry to say you will only be enjoying it on your dime or the nice noises from nature since they state there is wifi, but there really isn’t any. The management does not own this property, but good luck contacting or finding the owner to actually address the issues. That’s just a small list of what is wrong here.
May 04, 2025 · Cheyenne AutryIf class b slasher movie is your thing, this would be a perfect place for you to stay. Between the potholes and speed bumps my mocktail was shaken not stirred. There was no one there to check me in. I drove around the park twice and sat at the office for at least 30 minutes. There were no public picknick tables. No propane fill as shown in pictures. It was not maintained as the gutters were falling off the office. I didn’t stay. I hit the road and didn’t look back. No thank you.
Apr 14, 2025 · Theresa brushThe lady at the office was nice, really helpful. But the maintenance guy is bad business. Came and yelled at us for speeding, which is hard to believe considering we was cruising around looking at spots. But that's here nor there. He could have been a lot more pleasant about it. Because Ik for a fact there wasn't any unreasonable speeding by myself. And when I said that, he said "I can already tell yalls are going to be triuble" not a good first impression at all
Dec 24, 2024 · Elijah ReedMy husband and I have stayed here for a while now and we absolutely love it! It’s quiet and peaceful and lots of room around our camper for privacy. Clean laundry and wash rooms the times we have used them. There’s a dog area which our dog loves to use and he even loves to run around in the back field! Lots of long term residents we have made friends with as well. Everybody is just so nice! The couple that runs the campground are always there when we have questions and if we have any small inconvenience it is seen and taken care of that day or the following! There are new improvements happening and look forward to seeing. It’s so nice to feel safe and enjoy our days knowing we have such a great environment around us. I highly recommend I-65 Campground!
